ALL MEGARA JYN Mason-Strange wanted was to enjoy her life in peace.

You see, the last few months have been too stressful for her. After she and her twin brother, Theseus, were Blipped back into existence, they were dragged by their adoptive father in an all-out war and she was forced to fight Thanos for a couple of minutes with her army of the undead space dogs to distract him from getting to her mother. After that, they both assisted in helping Dr. Louis Cho, Vesper Lynn's time-traveller boyfriend, adjust to modern life and comforted their Uncle Apollos after he lost his fianceè, Natasha Romanoff, in Vormir, accompanying him as they worked on completing their last semester in university. Then, they also studied the Ten Rings with their Uncle Wong because he requested them to figure out if it was related to their sun and moon associated abilities.

With all of these events occurring one after another, who could blame Megara for wanting to rest for a while?

Now, becoming the top performing cardiothoracic surgeon intern of her department was now her only goal. As if graduating from med school at the age of seventeen wasn't enough of an achievement for her, Megara wanted to be as distinguished as her adoptive father in her chosen medical specialization.

But, it seems like living a quiet life isn't for Megara because just four months after her graduation day, she gets dragged -- or in her own terms, kidnapped by Nick Fury from her workplace because according to him, there are interdimensional beings threatening to destroy Earth and she and Peter Parker are the only heroes available to defeat them.

Key word, available.

It has been said that a healer cannot help but gravitate towards those who are broken and wounded, healing them not only on the outside but also inside.

Perhaps, this was the reason why their paths crossed once again after several months: Peter Parker was broken and he needed someone to help him heal himself.
