Challenge: North, East, West, South. All have their perks, but which direction is best and why?

Being a Southern gal by choice (seein' as how I was born and raised in Colorado, and then moved to Tampa Bay, Atlanta, and back to Tampa Bay again), I've gotta stick with the South, particularly Atlanta.

While Florida is my current home, it's also highly populated, hot as hell, and that spells badness. There'd be lack of food, water, resources, and shit-ton of zombies.

However, Atlanta is also full of people, but the weather is more forgiving in the summer, and if it does snow in the winter, it's only about once or twice, if that. The temperate weather is what would do it for me, not to mention the portions North of Atlanta that are beautiful and resource-rich, but lack the massive crowds, like Stone Mountain or Acworth.
