Damn the past, the bizarre circumstances, and my equally stupid brain.

Glitter... her presence feels like everwhere, yet nowhere. Where is she?

It has been a year since she is gone. Spike says she is dead... dead... damn him. I refuse to believe it.

I was helpless. I couldn't see her. Couldn't save her from Wisteria and the others. I don't even know what happened to her.

It is a good thing the blue-eyed trio is gone. If Glitter hadn't initiated the attempts, I would have killed them--like I already did.

Yes... it was me who slit their wrists till they gasped for the last time. Finished Glitter's unfinished work. She hadn't taken their last breaths away. But I? I had surprised myself.

A life lived upon someone else's blood and sweat, would end up in nothing but a horrifying, painful death.

Glitter was maddened with revenge, who wouldn't be? She lost her parents, the only ones who loved her, other than myself.

The darkness sure did cloud her mind, but her heart wasn't. She was still the light, only hidden behind a shadow.

A moon hidden behind an eclipse, my moon...

I knew this was her doing, but I couldn't catch her in the act. She was gone by the time I reached.

Where was she? Was she living here as an imposter?

Why hadn't she come to me?

If she was here indeed, I had to find her... find her before it's too late. I didn't trust myself. Who knows who she might try killing next? Who knows who I might kill next? For her sake.

Only for her sake...

There was a part of me that regretted taking someone's life... no three people's lives. But the other part was filled with a strange sense of calm. Justice was served.

Whitney, Willow and Wisteria. My so-called cousins. Dead cousins, ha! We hailed from a poor family. Glitter's father had been kind enough to let us stay (even silly, old Spike) here in this very mansion.

Like everything else, the mansion was hers, is still Glitter's.

Willow and Wisteria were led to a shady path by Whitney, the eldest sister. She was the one who was blinded by the riches.

Wisteria was evil, no doubt, but she was more of a dumb evil. The one whose strings could be pulled by anyone.

She believed I was in love with her, and I let her. She wanted to kiss me... and I let her. It took me every ounce of self-control to not push her away.

She was of no use. Before I could get something out of her, Glitter had killed her, attempted it that is.

I was a changed person since Glitter was gone--cautious, calculating and a murderer. What had I done to myself?

I had to find her. I had to tell her what I had done. I have to... have to before it's too late. Before either of us lose ourselves to insanity.

Hey, everyone! 💟 How are you all? I know it's been like ages since I updated and logged in to Wattpad. Anyone missed me?

I seriously missed Wattpad and reading here, especially my friends': SmitaShukla16, ssmith314, faizawani, anupamarc InvisibleTris Dante_Greywolf, and lhansenauthor's updates and books. I will get back to reading as soon as possible.

I have resumed working as a school teacher and it has left me with little to no time for myself. Since I'm new at it, I'm taking time to settle. Also, I'm getting used to working with MS Word and CorelDraw for preparing weekly worksheets and lesson plans.

Back to this update, how was it? Yes, the POV has shifted and I was finally able to complete writing this chapter. I had written half of it on 24th August. Have got an ugly writer's block since then. :/

What do you think of Edric? Glitter wasn't the one who killed the three sisters. She had done most of it, but they hadn't died on her hands--it was Edric who killed them.
