Take selfie

Enjoy lot.

A pic here,

a pic there

to capture

nature's grounds.

Explore round

hear the sounds

and soak in

the earth's founds.

But authentic

looks are lost

behind the

filter's trap.

Comments as

Echo flowed

Just don't get

too absorbed.

That my friend

is Modern

narcissism,

(or) self-explore?

This poem is not meant as criticism or anything. Selfie is fun, documenting life events and such. But there is a dark side to it too when one becomes self obsessed with presenting the best side of their looks, valuing other's comments more than themselves.

Also note that each line has 3 syllables.

This style is called 'Tri-Dodeca' created by @BillTemple1957.
There are 12 lines in total with: 
3 stanzas of 4 lines each
3 syllables per line
No rhyming scheme

In my poem, I extended past the 12 lines but maintained the structure of the style. Kind of like Double Tri-Dodeca.
