"I didn't kill him did I?"

"No. He's unconscious. But Cole is strong. He can make it."

Nova smiled then miraculously stood all on her own.

"Let's go. Garmadon might be hot on our trail soon."

I nodded and started to pace faster until we climbed over a hill.

"There! I see Kai! Kai!"
Aiden bolted down the hill and Alice followed soon after.

Nova and I shrugged and she jumped then rolled down the hill on her side.

I did the same and laughed when I hit the bottom.

"Nova! Coco!" Kai ran and Nova and I encased him in a group hug.

"You girls Ok?"

I nodded. I lead Nova inside and she started to pace around the room.
I noticed and tapped her shoulder.

"Hey. You Ok?"

"I'm fine. Just, when can I see Cole? I'm desperate..."

I sighed and let her see him. I figured hearing her voice could bring him back.

"Cole. Please wake up. I know I hurt you, but that gives you no good of a reason to die on me. We have bad guys to face, fun to have, lives to live. I can't do this without you. Please get up soon."

I decided to leave before I started to tear up too and met Jay on the couch.

"There's my fiancé in the flesh!" Jay opened up for a hug and I freely entered.

"Where? I don't see her."

I teased him, and he scrunched up his face in annoyance. So cute!

"So, how's Nova? Is she Ok?"

"Yeah. She's with Cole. I feel bad for her. She's always had it rough."

"What do you mean?"

I told Jay about her whole life story basically, and how she was abused as a child and forced to work as a slave.

"We connect. We've always been there for each other."

Jay began to tear up and he wiped his eye.

"Uh. J just a bug... T that's sad.."

"Yeah. It is..."

I wiped away a tear too then shook my head.

Kai came into the room and his fave was pale, he looked like he was gonna die or something.

"You Ok pal?"

Jay asked and Kai gave a smile and thumbs up.

"Yeah. J just. Its just a cut.... A bad, one?"
