"Alright. I'm sorry Nova, but sacrifices have to be made!"

I gasped as Coco shoved me out the door. "Coco! Hey!"

I yelped as her push made me knock right onto Jay. 'Crap!'

"S snake! Cole! Get her off!" Jay flailed his arms in the air and I screamed as Cole raised his scythe up.

"W wait! I uh, I'm friendly!" I blocked myself with my arms Wonder Woman style and hoped for the best.

"Alright. We'll believe you. Just come on. We have to get you outta here!" Cole yanked my hands and started to walk but I planted my feet in the ground.

"My, my friend! Hang on!" I ran to the bathroom and opened the door. Coco was hiding in a corner mumbling to herself. "Coco! Cmon! They're not gonna hurt us!"

I pulled Coco along and my eyes shot up as she ran to Jay and engulfed him in a hug.

"Thank you so much! Thank you! We thought we were goners!"

Jay chuckled and rubbed his neck. I mentally face palmed and sighed.

"Please excuse Coco. She doesn't know how to behave around strangers."

"But they aren't strangers! We watch them on TV all the time! You fan girl over Cole's inhumanly mus-MMPH!"

I slapped my hand over Coco's mouth and watched Cole smirk and look at me. "My inhumanly what now?"

"Well, uh, LETS JUST GO!" I hung my head down the whole time we walked and didn't make a peep the while way there. On the other hand, Coco couldn't help but talk nonstop to Jay.

They actually got along pretty well.

"Hey uh, Cole?" I looked up at him and blushed a little as I thought of how strange this was.

"Yeah Nova? Why are you blushing? Oh, I see now." I glared a little to prove the statement of me not having any fan crush on Cole whatsoever.

Which was a total lie.

"Oh. N never mind then. So, what was it?" Cole stuttered and I smiled in relief. That could've ended in disaster.

"W Will anybody look at us? Look and run away because we're monsters? What about the police? Oh no! Not the police!"

I screeched and hid my face. No jail time for me. Not today no Thank you.

"Don't worry Nova. We'll make sure that won't happen Ok?" I nodded and Cole grabbed my hand and rubbed my knuckles in comfort.

I turned back around and looked down.
