"Nova? Its Lloyd. What happened?"

Jay, Coco, Kai, Zane, Lloyd and I were all gathered in the control room.

"I I don't wanna talk about it."

Lloyd walked over next to me and rubbed my back in comfort.

"Nova, you're my little sister. Step sister, but the 'step' doesn't matter. Its silent to me. Just here me out. True ninja are never apart, maybe in distance but never at heart. Does that make sense to you?"

I looked up at my big brother and smiled. "Yeah. A lotta sense actually."

"Good. And here I thought you'd be stubborn as a mule."

I scrunched up my face and elbowed Lloyd playfully.

"Since when did you become so wise? Oh, great Sensei Lloyd." I joked and said the last part in a fancy, French accent.

"Oh, you have no idea."

We both laughed and Lloyd pulled me into a hug.

"Just give it time. Alright sis?"

"Alright. Hey, where's Jay and Coco?"

I looked around the room, seeing the fact that my bff wasn't here.

"They went to go see Cole. They thought it would be best to check on him for you. I guess they thought that you wouldn't handle the situation too kindly."

I scoffed and sighed. "Doesn't everyone think that?"

"No. I don't."

"Well, guess its just you then."

"Hey, don't talk like that! You're our family! We love you, some people might not show it, but I know they do. Trust me."

"Yeah, Cole never showed it very much."

"Nova! He loved- loves you. I've seen it with my own eyes. And you love him too, there is nothing he wouldn't do for you!"

"Love isn't real Lloyd! That's why I've never known what it feel like!"

I remarked, making Lloyd jump slightly.

"I I'm sorry. I didn't mean"

Lloyd rubbed my back again.

"Its Ok. I understand, we all feel sad Nova. Take my word for it."

I smiled and fluttered my eyes as I was feeling drowsy and I began to fall asleep.

"Its Ok sis. Just go to bed. Everyone needs rest."

Lloyd wrapped a violet, silk blanket over me and I fell asleep.

"Well, I can't rest. I have something stupid to do first.."
