"Well, why don't we start with this. I was scoping the area and found a bunch of SOG shrouding the alleyways."

Coco POV***

I smirked and danced in my seat. "Finally some action! Let's go!"

Lloyd motioned for me to stay calm and gave a humph of defeat.

"Alright. Aiden, Alice, and Candy. Stay here with Sensei. Coco and Jay, take the west side. Nya and Kai take south. Zane and I will take East. Which leaves Nova and Cole to take the North end. Got it?"

We all nodded in symphony and raced in the directions assigned.

Jay flashed his normal but ADORABLE smile. And I gladly returned the favor.

"Funny how Lloyd paired us together huh?"

"Yeah. Funny for Nova and Cole too. I'm sure he did that because we work so well together."

"Assuming so, probably yeah."

I slid to a halt as a son of Garmadon crashed their motorcycle into a wall directly near us.

Jay and I exchanged smirks as he readied his nunchucks and I readied my scythe.

"Ready angel bear?" Jay winked flirtatiously and I groaned.

"Yes. Ready."

We both let out battle cries as we dove in for attacks.

This is gonna be fun AF.

Nova POV*

"Isn't it adorable how Lloyd paired us up?" I couldn't help but hold back a giggle, Cole otherwise kept a straight and serious face.

"Something up?"

Cole continued to ignore me and I grew concerned.

"Cole?"

He turned and snapped at me. "Pay attention!"

I jumped a bit and Cole grew a saddened look.

"S sorry. I just. I wanted you to stay behind too. After you jumped in front of Kai, and you were injured like that. I've been...."

Cole paused for a second and I tilted my head.

"Protective?"

"Yeah, that's the word."

I scoffed.

"Look, I can take care of myself, Ok?"

Cole raised his eyebrow and rolled his eyes.

"Yeah. I know that!"

"Then why do you treat me like I'm three! Huh?"

I glared at him and he returned it.

"I don't! Look, its because I, I
LOOK OUT!"

I gasped as a loud horn went off and I felt my head impact the gravel and for a brief minute it went black.

"What was that?" I rubbed my finger on my forehead and gagged when I saw blood on it.

"Great. Hello, headache."

I slowly lifted myself up off the ground and gasped as I saw a motionless, black figure laying in the middle of the road.

"Awww. Poor girl. Looks like your friend met their end at last."

I turned myself in the other direction as Killow, one of the larger SOG was chuckling wildly.

"Shut up. He's the strongest out if all of us. Cole will be fine."

I spoke angered and through gritted teeth.

"You're funny. And I despise funny."

"Awww that's a shame, why don't you kill yourself cause I could a swore you were a joke the last time I checked."

He glared and I spun my Flyssa and lunged towards him.

Finally, after he retreated, I dropped my Flyssa and ran towards Cole.

"No. No no no!"

I turned him over and gasped.

There was blood all over and his gi now turned a light violet with all the stains.

"No. Please no. W wake up! Please!"

I cradled his neck in my arms and began to sob uncontrollably.

"Help! Somebody please help me! Please! My friend! I its my f friend! Its my friend."
