[1] Challenge 3
Last time on Glitch's Laboratory, the teams had to do a speed experiment. It was to guess the quotes from any of our works. However, no one from Project: Biohazard attended the speed challenge, so they lost. They have voted, and Javi was eliminated. What will happen next? Find out now on Glitch's Laboratory!

Not much happened before the experiment was announced. Is there something going on that I don't know? ≖—≖
Anyways, their third experiment was to debate about something scientific (even controversial ones). One team will dictate what topic the teams would debate about, and the other team will have to counter against their opponent's stance. They each have been given several hours to defend their point. We will then choose the winning team based on their debates.
Here's what happened.
I used Roll to determine which team is going to start first. It chose Project: Biohazard.
Both Sky and Alice discussed what topic will they debate about. After a couple minutes, they agreed on debating about the consequences of technology in human life. Sky wrote the debate, and was later edited by Todd.
Todd turned their debate in, so it was time for The Periodic Table of Savagery to counter their defense.
Several hours after I sent Project: Biohazard's debate, Xavier wrote their counterargument against them, saying that technology is pretty helpful.
I have given Project: Biohazard several more hours to defend their argument against Xavier's stance. This time, Nathan was the one who wrote their argument.
So I sent Nathan's argument back to The Periodic Table of Savagery to defend their stance. Before I could even announce the deadline (we were discussing as to when the challenge ends), Andrew already wrote their defense against Project: Biohazard.
I'll send the debate here:

Project: Biohazard
Technology really improved the lives of all modern people, from little things like the cellphone to large inventions such as the satellites. Even though it greatly eased the lives of the people, it also caused many disastrous effects on both humans and nature.
For humans, technology makes our lives easier and better. Because of this, people have become lazy. The new generations rely on modern technology to do their daily routines. The need for manpower also decreased since everything is powered by machines nowadays. To sum it up, people are becoming useless since technology is the one doing all of the work.
Nature is going through a transitional phase from a clean and green grassy environment to polluted areas with machines and no trace of trees left. In short, it changed from green to gray quickly just because of technology. To further explain it, technology such as machines use harmful chemicals and substances that cause pollution, intensifying the global warming surrounding the globe. Slowly, it will melt the polar caps, raise the water levels, and erase every piece of land on our planet.
All in all, technology helps us out so much that we are blinded by its disastrous effects. It's gradually destroying humanity and nature, as well.

The Periodic Table of Savagery
Many people beg to differ with that opinion. Machines does work that was really dangerous in the past. Take cotton work for example. Sometimes, this kind of tech is what keeps people SANE! Smartphones are used for a number of things. They can be used to call or text people, for games to keep people occupied, and apps to keep people amused. People were surprised many people werent using this technology earlier in the day. OH YEAH! It didn't exist!
Although many people are dying for not paying attention because they were looking at their phones, it keeps people amused. Without technology, gamers like us are left bored, unoccupied, and unamused. This may lead to hatred or even suicide. Technology is a big part of our lives, and we need it to keep ourselves sane!
Although people might be becoming useless, they have something to keep them amused. They have a life, and sometimes it's technology! All those people with jobs associating with video games, their job is what keeps them occupied and amused!

Project: Biohazard
It's funny, you saying that. For starters, if humans became less inactive, all this technology YOU want will never be upgraded.
And, may I point out that although I agree with you that without technology humans will become bored, this will give people a chance to rethink their decisions, and find a way forward.
If people have their heads only a few inches from a screen, the results are more than us becoming inactive. We will become to attached to the fake world more than the real one. And that will makes us INSANE.
As far as physical consequences go, our eyesight and hearing can become very poor. AND I KNOW THAT FOR A FACT SINCE I WEAR GLASSES.
Yes, I completely agree technology makes life easier. But there's a thing called too easy. Think about it, our ancestors worked hard to get us to where we are today, and if the things stay the way they are now, we will end up right back where we are.
I'm personally not a fan of the 'robots ruling the world thing' but you can't hide the truth. In the end we will really be the ones who become the robots, since we will become to prone doing the same thing over and over.
And when a disaster does hit, what will we do, tell our robots to fix it? No. Because of our negligence, we will all be dead.
Humans are special, and we were given a special gift which is to use our brain power better than most species. However, if we abuse that gift, it may come back to bite us in the butt.
I end by saying technology is like candy. A little is great, but too much is bad for you.
I rest my case.

The Periodic Table of Savagery
Okay, okay, you have some... decent arguments, I'll give you that. Yet, it's not good enough to pull me over to your side, dare I say it, the DARK Side.
Now let's cut to the chase, if you and Project Biohazard were against things such as technology, then why are you even in a comp that has to be played DIGITALLY. It doesn't make sense that you're competing if you think technology is ruining our world, so if you're gonna say that then quit being a hypocrite and stay true to yourself.
Now, you say sight and hearing impearmamt huh? You should know because you wear glasses? It's not my fault that you were born with less eye tissue which changes the magnification of your sight. It's a myth that being to close to a tv hurts your eyes. NB News states, "watching too much tv too closely will give you a headache, but won't permanently damage anything." It also doesn't affect your hearing unless you turn the tv up way too loud, which no one I know really does that.
Our human race is a gift that was born for a reason, and we haven't found it out het, but were smart enough to know to NOT advance robots too far that they'd take over.
Technology is also helpful for our scientists. Without it, there'd be no way to create some medicines that cure YOUR headaches from watching that t.v.
There wouldn't be any progressions on curing cancer either, with technology getting more advanced, cancer will soon become a smaller problem as we will be able to cure all strains.
If you think about it, back before the industrial revolution, the #1 way the human race died was DISEASE, because they couldn't find ways to create medicines with the limited resources they have.
Finally, if technology didn't advance, you, project biohazard would naught to exist. You'd wouldn't last a day in the old world, you're dependant and like technology just as much as us Savage elements do. We all love it to entertain us, but that's not the only reason it's helpful. It saves LIVES
And will soon be advanced enough to cure things beyond technology now, just like cancer and STD's. I bet it's gonna save YOUR precious life one day
I rest my case.

Naomi and I judged (Leo wasn't on), and we eventually thought that The Periodic Table of Savagery was better.
So, Project: Biohazard had to send someone home.
But before that, I would like to mention that The Periodic Table of Savagery also lost a member for being inactive.
She missed three challenges in a row.
Therefore, Sally was eliminated.

Thanks for "participating", Sally!
I wasn't able to make it into the elimination ceremony, so Naomi had to do it.
It came down to Dark and Nathan, and it ended up in a tie.
So, Naomi had to use Roll.
Roll chose Dark.

Dark
Missed challenges: 1
Number of votes: (Naomi how many votes did he get?)
Total points: 1
Total number of confessionals: 0

Thanks for participating, Dark!
And guess what?
Time for sudden death.
Whoever had the lowest amount of points will be eliminated.
However, both Cole and Poke both had the lowest amount of points, with just one point.
So, Naomi had to use Roll once again.
Fate chose Cole.

Thanks for participating, Cole!
Several hours after the elimination ceremony, we had a speed side project, a speed experiment but in a form of a side project.
It was sort of like the Holiday Alphabet challenge, only replace "Holiday" with "Science".
The contestants had to think of a scientific word that starts with the letter that we gave out. For example, if we said O, and someone said "Ohm", then that counts as correct because it starts with O, and it is also a scientific word (Ohm is a unit for measuring the electrical quantity of resistance).
Todd and Andrew both showed up for the side project, with Tech, Poke, and Alice showing up in the middle of the challenge.
At first, the side project was executed quite poorly. Todd was saying words that were not related to science somehow. Andrew pointed out that every word is related with science, so we decided to not count words that are not scientifically specific.
At first, Todd was gaining the most points. But after we decided to no longer count words that aren't scientifically specific, Andrew catched up to him and took the lead. Tech and Poke also gained points.
In the middle of the challenge, we have sensed saltiness between Todd and Andrew. Todd even said that he'll get everyone to vote off Andrew in the merge.
Do we sense a rivalry between Todd and Andrew?

Anyways, here is the Science Alphabet:
Argon

Here are the final scores on the side project:
Andrew: 12
Todd: 8
Poke: 3
Tech: 2
* * * * *
And that was basically it.
* * * * *
Confessionals:
Todd {1}: 2
Andrew {2}: 2
* * * * *
What will happen next? Will the Andrew-Todd rivalry continue? Will there be some salt? Will there be more sudden death eliminations? And will there be more unoriginal experiments? Find out next time on Glitch's Laboratory!
That's it from me, everyone!
