Yoongi held Jinx close to his chest, certain that she could hear his heart pounding. The feeling he had in this moment was like no other. For some time Yoongi wasn't sure if he would ever have the chance to hold her or even kiss her like he had moments before.

Everyone vanished in blue and black smoke, even Kira. He didn't care where they went so long as he had Jinx.

"It was like a dream." Jinx frowned, "I was living a life that belonged to me but wasn't mine at all."

She hugged Yoongi tightly then continued.

"Something always felt like it was missing. That was until you walked in tonight. After you kissed me all my memories came rushing back. Yoongi."

She looked up at him, smiling.

"I've missed you."

"And I you." Yoongi kissed her forehead, breathing in her sweet perfume.

"You are the king now?"

He nodded, taking in every inch of her face committing it to memory so he wouldn't forget her. Not that he would ever let her go at this point. It was just in those moments when he had to do things for the kingdom.

Gently he caressed her soft cheek. Her green eyes gazing into his dark ones.

"The fates don't want us together." He whispered, his thumb grazing her lower lip. "I just don't understand why."

Jinx stayed silent, looking at Yoongi everything was clear to her. She would do anything for him and she was certain he would do the same for her. Why the fates would want to keep them apart was inconceivable.

Time stood still around them as they smiled happily at one another.

Meanwhile chaos ensued in the underworld. A very pissed off fate ready to do her worst.

"Meddling gods!" Seulgi shrieked, kicking the cauldron over, splashing its contents all over Yeri. Yeri yelped as the brew singed her skin.

"Seulgi!" Irene yelled at the crazed fate. Who seemed hell bent on destroying everything in the room. Seulgi stopped to glare at her.

"What?" She spat, snatching up a delicate silver strand twirling it between her fingers. Seulgi narrowed her eyes at Yeri.

"Where the hell are the fate scissors?!"

Yeri lifted her chin defiantly. In this moment wishing she had the ability to vanish.

"Irene, take them from her."

Irene looked from Yeri to Seulgi.

"What do you plan to do?"

"Just give them to me."

Yeri took this time while the others bickered, escaping to the dark stones outside the room. She hated going against her sister. But deep down inside her faintly beating heart. She knew Seulgi was wrong. Yeri had to find Yoongi to warn him before it was too late.

Within the cover of the darkest shadows lurked a god with a mischievous grin on his face. He watched her disappear in the fog. She would certainly pay for her transgressions.

Jungkook walked into the dimly lit room where Seulgi and Irene continued to argue.

"What are you two beautiful women arguing about?" He asked slyly. Seulgi turned to him, her hands stretching out the silver strand in front of her.

"We are in a disagreement about this life."

Jungkook tilted his head with a smirk.

"Why do you argue, when clearly you are the leader." He smiled at Seulgi. She blushed, folding the string into a small pile.

"You are right... Yeri! Hand over the fate scissors!" She demanded the absent sister. Her head spun around the room, shock displayed heavily on her face. Then anger mixed with a strong feeling of betrayal.

"Yeri!!!" She screamed. Jungkook smirked evilly.

Perhaps now the great creator would allow him a new job. His hope was one day he could be the god of punishment. Jungkook's time to shine was surely on the horizon.

"I know where she is." Jungkook smiled, caressing the angry fate's cheek. Seulgi blinked, looking from him to Irene. Irene appeared to be scowling at a rock on the ground. Seulgi rolled her eyes, peering up at the purple eyed god.

"Where?"

"I thought you saw everything?"

Seulgi pouted. "I am blind to the actions of my sisters."

Irene's head shot up in interest to what Seulgi just uttered. Her eyes then drifted to the dark doorway.

"I see."

"I'll kill her myself." Seulgi blurred out suddenly. The rash thoughts spilling from her mouth like wine from a glass.

"That sounds swell."

Seulgi smiled.

Yeri ran through the forests right into the meadow. She didn't stop running until she stood just outside of the chateau. She was ready to free her conscience, to save a love written in the stars.

Behind her a low guttural growl sounded. The hot breath on the nape of her neck, making her shiver with fear. Slowly she turned to face the beast.

"Y—you." She stammered, falling back on to the soft ground. It towered over her. It's body shifting in the smoke, becoming solid and then vanishing. When the chest came into view it had a white scar acrossed it.

"M-Markus..."

"I will rip you to shhhhrreds!" It hissed, swiping its jagged claws at her. She screamed in terror, trying to crawl backwards quickly. Yoongi came running from the chateau followed closely by Jinx. He drew his king sword, preparing himself to fight. The terrified fate scurried quickly behind the brave king, grasping Jinx arm as she trembled.

Jinx patted her back gently, while her eyes were trained on the ghastly creature in front of them.

"Yoongi be careful." She cautioned, Yeri nodded furiously in agreement. The Pen roared a thunderous roar, charging towards Yoongi. Instead of swinging his sword, he moved to the side and turned to face the chateau. Except when he turned the Pen was charging him once again from that side.

Black smoke filled the meadow, followed by an angry looking Taehyung. His eyes fell on the terrified fate, then fixed onto the beast attacking Yoongi.

Laughter filled the night sky as Seulgi stalked across the now wilting wildflowers.

"Take him out Markus!" She cheered, watching the Pen slam Yoongi against a tall oak tree. jinx gasped, lurching forward to help.

Kira appeared with Jimin beside her with an arrow notched in her bow.

Yoongi wiped the blood from the side of his mouth breathing heavily. The pen had turned and was now stampeding towards Jinx.

Only to be stopped by a burst of white light that sounded like a cannon going off. Three arrows zoomed through the air in rapid succession. One right after the other landing with a thud in the chest of the pen. It roared in anger.

"Meddling gods!!! You'll all be punished for interfering with my plans!" Seulgi screamed like a maniac, pulling at her hair as Taehyung used black smoke like whips to lash out at the pen.

"I'll rip you to shreds!!" It howled, vanishing into thin air. Seconds later it appeared behind Jinx, picking her up from behind, sinking its putrid yellow teeth into her shoulder.

"Nooooo!!!" Cried Yoongi, while everyone around gasped. Except for one, who yanked a pair of scissors from her sister and laughed hysterically.

Yoongi charged towards the beast, his heart racing, tears burning in his throat as he screamed curses at the monster.

Taehyung cracked his whip, slashing the pen acrossed its face. Jinx fell to the ground like a rag doll and then all went silent in the meadow.
