Annie's pov

We stop at a small clearing in the woods. Jadyn gives orders to the wolves as they take of in different directions in groups of 5.

Jadyn then looks at me and points north. "Let's go this way."

Go alone on a path with my mate who made it obvious he didn't want me?

Its gonna be a negative ghost rider.

I point west. "I'm going this way," I then hold up my walkie talkie "I'll let you know if I find anything," I state with a small smile. I then turn and walk off into the woods before he can protest.

I wipe the little bit of sweat off my forehead aside while breathing out a small sigh.

"You see anything? Over." I jump at Jaydns voice on the walkie talkie.

I grab the walkie from my pants and push the button. "No, over."

I sigh as I walk a couple steps through the woods as the walkie talkie goes silent.

I then freeze as I squint my eyes as I spot something in the distance. I tilt my head as I slowly move closer. My eyes widen as I get closer

A mans body impaled by two large icicles.

Chadum. This must be Chadum.

I take my walkie talk and push the button. "Got a dead body, pretty sure its Chadums. Over." I release the button as I walk past the body going forward  into thick woods.

"What?Cshhhhhh. Can't Cshhhhhhhhh. What.Cshhhhhhhh."

I push the button on the walkie talkie. "I said found a dead body. Over."

I realise the button and wait a moment.

"CshhhhhhhhhhhhhhhCshhhhhhhhhhh" I groan as I then turn the walkie talkie off and walk further in the woods. My eyes widen as I spot a building in the distance.

I pick up my pace as I run towards the building. I gracefully jump over branches as I quickly navigate my way through the thick trees. I get to the door and quickly yet gently pull it open to get a peek inside.

Nobody insight, I squeeze in and let the door shut. I go to the first door on the right and open it and peek in. My eyes widen as I see Navi, her back is facing me and she is on her knees. I quietly squeeze into the room and let the door close behind me.

"Navi!" I whisper shout as relief floods through me as I quickly start making my way towards her.

I slow down as I hear her sniffle. "No, Annie, please leave. Now, please go." My eyebrows scrunch up in confusion.

"What? No Navi come on we can get out of here." Navi shakes her head at my words and I realize she is shaking and sweating. I can't see her face but she looks in pain.

She takes a painful deep breath in as she shakes her head again. "She knew you were coming, they have sensors." My eyes widen at Navi, she is struggling, like she is fighting.

"Annie Go! Run Annie before I hurt you!!' Navi yells at me but I shake my head.

"Navi I'm not leaving you. Please come with me." I plead her as my voice shakes.

Navis hands go into her hair and a scream leaves her mouth, a pain filled scream. I flinch as it echoes. Then slowly, painfully Navi stands and turns toward me.

I gasp at her appearance. Her face is red and blotchy, her eyes are puffy. The thing that worries me the most, blood is coming from her nose and eyes.

"She is resisting, or atleast trying to, she will break in a moment, I would get ready Annie." I jump as Jacys voice goes through the air.

"What did you do!" I shout angrily as I look around wildly.

A chuckle goes through the air. "I just asked her nicely to rough you up and knock you out. She of course is trying to fight it, that's why she is bleeding, and her head feels like it could explode." I roll my eyes at the know-it-all tone in her voice.

A cry rings in the air and my eyes widen as Navi stomps the ground and then faces her palms to me, ice quickly coming out. I quickly dodge it.

"Come on Navi, you have to fight it." I try to talk to Navi but it doesn't seem like she is listening.

"I'm sorry," Navi says as she sends sharp icicles towards me, I again dodge them. I then breath in deeply and out slowly as I feel the sharp tingles go through my body as I turn invisible.

"Oh that's cool you can turn invisible. What a shame it would be if you couldn't," Jacys voice floats through the air in mock wonder. "Annie don't use your invisibility, please dear."

I cry out as my body forces it self back to normal. Then a pain goes through me as I'm hit in the stomach with ice.

"Annie fight me back," Navi shouts. She then throws another bit of ice my way. I dodge it quickly.

"I can't Navi, I could burn you severely , or possibly kill you." I argue as I again dodge more ice.

It was true, my fire powers were stronger than most, my fire was more like lava.

"Then please Annie, kill me." Navi looks at me pleading, begging me as tears run down her face.

My eyes widen at her words. My heart breaks at my little sisters plea.

Navi shouts again as she moves her hand to the side. Suddenly I am hit on my side by a block of ice. I then hit the wall and land on the floor. I breath out slowly as my eyes close and darkness takes over.

"Good Navi, I'm proud."

Rileys pov

"We have a problem," I scrunch my eyebrows at Jadyns voice, trying to hide the panic in his tone, yet I hear it.

"What is it?' I release the button and wait. I don't have to wait long as his reply comes in quickly.

"Annie, I can't get her to answer." I curse at his words.

"Where are you?" I ask.

"I'm looking at a dead body, pretty sure this is what she was talking about, when we split up she went west," comes his reply.

"Mark where you are on the map. And come back," I state into the radio.

"I can't I have to go get her, I let her walk alone." I groan at his words

This is why I work alone. People can't follow directions.

"Okay okay. Just wait for me, I'm coming." I say through the radio as I look at my group of wolves.

"Head back, tell Bain and London to bring their wolves to this location," I state as I make a circle on a map.

"Look for a building, this is the area itll be in I'm sure." I state the wolves nod as they then take off.

I sigh as I then turn and run off, climbing up a tree and quickly jumping from tree to tree.

"What makes you so special anyway, I'm sure I can handle her better." I roll my eyes at the egotistical vampire.

"I've dealt with one like her before, I'm the only one here that can stop her." I say as I jump faster.

"Well sounds like you've let the title of the best assassin get in your head." If I was a wolf I would be growling right now at his words.

"Okay, Jadyn, take your little white ass in there and we can talk about me being the best assassin after I save your ass." I state as I then shut the radio off and hurry my steps.

When I finally make it I spot Jadyn standing, looking at a dead body held up by two large icicles.

"Decided to wait I see," I state with a smirk causing him to glare at me 

"I decided it's better if we both go in, instead of getting captured separately." He hisses at me causing me to roll my eyes.

"I promise, you will be the only one getting caught," I state as I shoulder bump him while walking him and the dead body.
