Sorry if this review seem to be shorter and uploaded later than usual. I'm getting really busy by going on a lot of trips for a few days. Soooo there could be errors, but I'll try my best!

Ok when I first read this chapter, I got so confused that I had to reread it a couple of times. 😅

Quick plot

So the story begins when the main characters are flying their spaceship to planet Nouma to see the Professor. However, they crashed onto the planet by Shiki, who then resolved the problem by using his powers.

On planet Nouma, we get an explanation about what Ether is and Shiki's Ether Gear. Rebecca revealed that the city of this planet is built underground for civilians to survive and live. When the group reached to the professor's place, an unfamiliar character appeared, who claims the one who holds the professor's name, Wise Steiner. The next page reveals a time skip of 20,000 years in the future, where two "mech diggers" (I'm going to call them that for now--don't judge me😂) found a male and female corpses. One of them found Rebecca's B-Cube necklace with a written message on the back: Eden's Zero.

Ether

Definition of Ether (according to Happy): it's the source of all "power;" Ether is present in humans, the atmosphere, and machines.

Ether is basically "magic" in the Edens Zero universe.

Yay! We got a quick explanation about Shiki's power. Soooo the reason Shiki was able to do all of the cool gravity-stuff was because he's takes in the possession of Ether gear.

The one who has Ether gear can rearrange the flow of Ether in their body. Like Rebecca said, it's like a machine.

So we can say that Shiki is sort-of-like a machine, right?😅😅😅

Some theories for this chapter

Who is Professor Wise?

Memory Refresher!: Professor Wise is the doctor who fixed Happy after his accident.

The new character at the end said that he is Wise Steiner. So that means that he could be the younger version of the professor that Rebecca and Happy know in their time. Which lead to the possibility of...

TIME TRAVELING!!!

Why? Well...

One. In the previous chapter, Elcy states that planet Nouma is already dead, when she heard they were flying to that star. But when Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy got there, it didn't look dead yet since the city seems to be flourishing with living creatures.

Two. There's one factor change in this chapter. (Meaning what's different from the usual)

Guess what it is...

It's Shiki piloting the spaceship!

There were NO panels that ACTUALLY shows Shiki driving Rebecca's ship. It only showed the crash landing instead. So something happened during the trip to planet Nouma. Since it's Shiki who's controlling it, I think it's the caused by his powers, or there could time traveling button accidentally touched somewhere, or they got into a wormhole.

Right now, Shiki, Rebecca, and Happy are most likely in a different timeline from their own.

The ending of the chapter

I want to say something about the end of chapter 4.

There were 2 human corpses found 20,000 years later from the timeline where Rebecca and Shiki are in. We can say that the female corpse is Rebecca, since her B-Cube necklace is there. (Unless there's another person who has the exact copy of it--but I doubt that). I don't think it's much of a bother to a lot of people but...

Who's the male corpse?

I'm pretty sure it would be Shiki, but there could be a small chance that it could be someone else. But I most likely think it would be Shiki... But another thing I wonder is how they died. Did they die from old age or violence?

We're not sure which planet/star where the corpses were found. We don't know who are the people who found the corpses in the future timeline. We don't know how their fate was unfolded.

But then there was a message written on Rebecca's B-Cube necklace:

Eden's Zero...

With their unknown fate, the corpses, and a collapsing star in the background on the last panel of the chapter... is the meaning of this message is that there's no peace?!

Is it possible that there will be a sad ending???( I don't think so with the sad ending thing. Oh! And Sorry I don't have the time to explain it more thoroughly😅🍪)

And one last thing...

Who thinks they might travel to the future in the future?!😂

This chapter got the story plot very interesting. With the events that are taking place, I can't help but keep wondering what comes out next. The end of the chapter caught me off guard, cause I had to go back and analyze the panels many times. The only thing I was upset on was that it's short. Soooo now you guys know how hype I am when it comes to reading manga.
