A/N: This takes place in S4 after Blaine, Brittany and Unique wanted captain and took it off of Tina with Artie's help who gave it to Blaine.

It was afterschool and after Tina had her captaincy taken off her for Blaine because Blaine, Brittany and Unique couldn't let Tina have something she rightfully deserved and it hurt her when Artie who had been there in the group as long as she has, just gave it to Blaine without second thought and Finn favouring Marley too. So instead of going to the choir room for glee like she was meant to Tina walked out of the school, to her car and drove home, as its not like they cared especially Finn, and as she arrived home and walked inside her house, Tina went straight to her bedroom and cried in her bathroom so noone disturbed her or questioned why she was home early or questioned why she was upset. she didn't even greet her parents when she walked in. She was angry and upset that after she was given captaincy and lead female soloist from Rachel herself the year before and then they were taken off her for one who had been in the group for a year and one who was new.

She was once again in the background and worst that Unique who went for captaincy and Marley who got the lead soloist and is favoured weren't even seniors like her, she hated it especially when Marley got the solos and got everything without even trying and it upset her especially since Marley was brand new and didn't know anything about a glee club but she suspects that Marley and Finn have a secret thing together with Marley and Finn cheating on Jake and Rachel with each other.

Even in the year before when Santana recruited her for the troubletones she was sidelined for Mercedes who wasn't even a good captain, it was Santana that took over and did all the captain things and recruited the girls not Mercedes who didn't try and took the credit for Santana's hard work. All Tina wanted was her time to shine and have the spot light and this was the year it was her time to shine but it was taken away from her for Blaine and Marley and she was once again in the background well further in the back ground and it ached even more when Artie gave Blaine the captaincy even though Blaine had been there for a year, and she was there since it was her, Artie, Kurt, Mercedes and Rachel singing Sit Down You're Rocking the Boat since their first performance when Finn joined and sang You're The One That I want with Rachel. 

As Tina walked out of her bathroom, and laid on her bed and cried silently once more she thought back to earlier thought of the troubletones as she wiped her tears away. She smiled to herself, rolled over on her bed, sat up slightly so she could pick up her phone from the night stand. Tina dialed a number and made a phone call.

Rachel was in her room writing music as she decided to take a year off and stay in Ohio and offered her NYADA spot to Kurt who to her deserved it more, she was thinking of some things to do when she received a phone call. She picked up her phone from her bed, and without looking at the caller ID as she wrote, she answered

"Hello." Tina sat up on her bed and said

"Hey Rach it's Tina. I want to ask you something, I need your help." Rachel was shocked that Tina had called her for help as it wasn't every day that Tina asks for help or asks Rachel herself for help. Rachel closed her lyric book and said

"Sure what's up Tina, what's going on aren't the team listening to you?" Tina didn't know how to tell her that she wasn't captain that it was given to Blaine. She took a deep breath and said

"That's the thing. I'm not captain anymore. Blaine, Unique and Brittany weren't exactly happy that I was captain and not them. They wanted a sing off and Artie to judge it. Ultimately Artie gave it to Blaine and the lead female soloist is a new girl by the name of Marley and Finn is giving her everything without even trying." Rachel couldn't believe what she was hearing. She couldn't believe that Tina had captaincy and female lead soloist taken off her. As Rachel was silent at the revelation of what she heard Tina continued

"I kinda have an idea that I think you will love." Rachel was curious as she would do anything to make sure Tina would be captain and said

"I'm listening." Tina nervously said

"Maybe you could be the troubletones director and I can be captain and have my time to shine." Rachel smiled and said

"Tina I'm in it would give me something to do this year and you will be rightfully captain and lead soloist. And I have a little idea about Santana helping too since she was part of the group and was basically captain, and Santana knows the troubletones and she loved that group more than anything." For the first time that day, Tina smiled and said

"I love that Rachel. And thank you, really I appreciate it and maybe I could get some girls to come over including Sugar who was there last year and maybe Kitty and Unique too and being a director help you and Santana with what you want to decide for yourself the year after." Rachel agreed with Tina

"I love that. And the music room can be our home base too." They hung up and Tina let Rachel call Santana about her idea

Tina was excited to be captain and was excited that Rachel agreed and liked her idea.

Tina was even more excited when she received Rachel's text that Santana was on board and liked her idea too. And Tina thought to herself.

Look out Marley, Blaine and New Directions the troubletones are back and with a brand new captain and directors and she wasn't letting anyone take her captaincy off her.
