Pretend in the intro Kamani is doing whatever Kakashi is doing next to him and fighting the same way!

SH: I'm at point C.

NU: I'm at point A. Believe it!

KasH: Go slow, Naruto. Okay, squad 7. Hmph! The target has moved!

A black shadow lept through the trees going through bushes and dodging rocks. The three Genin peeked from the trees they were hiding in. "Over there," Naruto whispered. The three moved closer to the target and hid behind trees. 

"What's your distance from your target?" Their sensei, Kakashi Hatake, asked through their mics and earpieces. "Five meters," Naruto said (Wow! He was smart enough to know that!) "I'm ready just give me the signal." "I'm ready too," Sasuke said. "So am I," Sakura said afterward.

"Okay..." Kakashi said with a pause. "Now!" The three launched at their target ready to catch the beast. "I GOT HIM! I GOT HIM!" Naruto yelled holding the cat out. "Can you verify ribbon, right ear?" Kakashi asked as the cat attacked Naruto. "Affirmative, we got a positive ID," Sasuke replied. "Right, lost pet Torah captured. Mission accomplished." Their sensei said. "CAN'T WE GET A BETTER MISSION THAN THIS?!?! I HATE CATS!!!!" Naruto shouted breaking Kakashi's eardrums through the earpiece.

"My, my," Kamani said popping out of the ground. "You have some dull missions, huh?" She asked looking at the three Genin. "Oh be quiet Kamani! You were on a mission too!" Naruto yelled. "Yeah. An A-Rank mission. There is a big difference. Anyhow, I came here because I'm supposed to be with you three for the some of the missions you do next." Kamani explained as the cat walked up to her. "A cat?" She asked looking at it. The cat rubbed against her leg before she kicked it off but the cat just came again. "Naruto, next time don't scream, so loud into the earpiece. And don't tell me you're scared of cats?" Kakashi asked Kamani, walking from behind her. "N-No, it's just that-" She sneezed before she could finish. "I'm allergic!" She said sneezing again. The cat looked up at her as if asking what was wrong. Kakashi picked it up as Kamani started to scratch the places the cat rubbed on her. "I'm more of a dog person." She said rubbing her nose. "Best we get going," Kakashi said as the cat jumped back to Kamani. She just had the ground hold it since she didn't want to deal with it.

"Oh, my poor little Torah!" The women shouted rubbing herself and the cat together. "Mommy was so worried about her naughty little fuzzykins, yes!" Kamani looked at the cat and whispered, "I feel bad for the kitten. I shouldn't have pushed it away if that's what he deals with every day." Everyone nodded. 

"Now, then, for squad 7's next mission, we have several available tasks." The Hokage explained. "Huh? Among them, babysitting the chief counselors 3-year-old, helping his wife to do the shopping, digging up potatoes, and-" "NO!" Naruto shouted. "I want to go on a real mission! Something challenging and exciting, not this little kid stuff! Come on, old man!" Sakura and Sasuke were thinking the same thing just wouldn't say it. The two sensei's sigh in unison. "I knew this was coming..." Kamani mumbled. "HOW DARE YOU-" "Naruto," Kamani said cutting off Iruka looking at him as if telling him to calm down.

"You start off with simple missions to prove yourself. You don't go off fighting criminals right off the bat. Yes, I know babysitting may not seem like a mission to you, but you're not up for even the toughest of C-rank, none the less B or A. Unless you want your life to end in an instant and for your heart to be ripped out of your chest, I suggest you stick with D-rank missions. And, they are helping the village too. Going to go beat up some criminals isn't the only way to help the village." Kamani said scaring the crap out of Sakura and Naruto, Sasuke just wondered if that could happen. Well, that's one way to do it. Kakashi thought sweatdropping. "But still! That isn't a mission! I can handle at least a simple C-rank mission! If you would just-" Kakashi and Kamani hit his head at the same time and even said, "Will you put a lid on it?" in unison. Iruka wondered how they did that.

Ninja Lesson Time :)

"Naruto! It seems you do not understand the tasks you have been given!" The old man said strictly. "Listen, many different kinds of requests come into our village every day, from babysitting to assassinations. These requests are carefully recorded, analyzed, then ranked A, B, C, or D, depending on their difficulty. We ninja, are also ranked by ability, Hokage at the top, Jounin, Chunin, and Genin at the bottom. At the highest level, we select the missions and assign them to the ninja that has the appropriate skill and experience. Kamani just came back from an A-rank, an assassination. You just finished doing a D-rank. And if the mission is successful, we receive a fee that supports our village and our work. Since you are untried Genin just starting down the Shinobi path, you are given D-Rank assignments, of course." 

He looks up and see's that they were all listening about the types of ramen Naruto has eaten. Kamani had just made a chair and was... reading😏. He wasn't surprised since their sensei's and his teammates most likely knew but he still got annoyed. "Silence!" He shouted. "Oh, sorry," Kamani said putting away her book and making the chair disappear.

"AH! YOU ALWAYS LECTURE ME LIKE YOUR MY GRANDFATHER OR SOMETHING! (He is if you think about it, not by blood though) But I'm not the little brat who used to pull pranks all the time. I'm a ninja now, and I want a ninja mission!" Naruto exclaimed sitting on the floor, crossing his arms, and then turning around so he wasn't facing the Hokage. "Hmph, we're going to hear about this later," Kakashi said rubbing his neck and Kamani just nodded sighing in the process.

Iruka just smiles and the Hokage starts laughing. "Naruto wants us to know that he's not a brat. He's a former brat, and he wants a mission. So be it." The three genin gasp since they got permission to do a C-rank mission. "Thank god I get to do a mission that may get interested and not some D-Rank mission..." Kamani mumbled. "Since you are so determined, I'm going to give you a C-ranked mission. You'll be bodyguards on a journey." The Hokage explains. "REALLY? YES! Who? Who? Are we guarding a princess? Or some counselor?" Naruto asked. "Don't be so impatient. I will bring him in now. Send in our visitor." They all turn towards the door Kakashi making a 'hmph' sound and Kamani mumbling if this is a good idea.

The door opens revealing a drunk man. "What the- A bunch of little snot-nosed kids?" Kamani got visibly angry and Kakashi and Iruka knew this wasn't going to end well. He drank big gulps from his bottle of sake. "And you, the little one with the idiotic look on your face. You really expect me to believe you're a ninja?" Naruto starts laughing wondering who that is until he realizes it was him. He saw he was actually really short. Kakashi held him back from attacking the man. 

"And the girl. The one with the mask." Kakashi paled, even more, knowing this wasn't going to end well. "You're so short and innocent, shorter than the dumb one. You're a ninja? There is barely any good kunoichi nowadays... You must have struggled to become a what? Genin?" Oh no. "Uh..." Kakashi said looking at his sister. There was a dark aura around her. "Did you call me... Short. And week like them three..." The man nodded not getting the message. I mean, he was drunk.

Spikes rose from the ground, one at his neck. She jumped in front of him to fast for his eyes to see. "Sir, I am stronger than you think. I can easily break your neck in half and rip your heart out of you say one more thing about me." The man paled and backed away nodding. "Good. You get the message!" Kamani said walking back while smiling but the deadly aura did not disappear.

The man calmed down and took another glug of his sake. Kamani was fed up so she used her crystal style to break it. Everyone was confused, even Kakashi, on who did that. Kakashi noticed Kamani was grinning so he concluded that she did it. Wait... Did she do that with spin the bottle-

"I am Tazuna, a master bridge builder, and I must return to my country," Tazuna stated ignoring the fact his bottle of sake shattered. "I'm building a bridge there that will change our world, and I expect you to get me there safely, even if it means giving up your life." He said. "Why would we have to give up our life? This is a C-Rank mission which means the probability of getting attacked is low. And if we are attacked, there are barely any reports of thieves, and all thieves seem to be Genin and some Chunin level. It wouldn't even be labeled a C-Rank but a B-Rank. One would only warn if they know there is a high chance of getting attacked by high-level thieves. Is there something you're not telling us?" Kamani asked. Everyone looked at her, Kakashi, Iruka, and the Hokage, realizing she was right. "No, there isn't. I just wanted to make sure the little ones were ready." Tazuna replied. "Hmph..." Kamani said not buying it.

The team and Tazuna are walking out, well sort of. The ground is moving Kamani. She's just standing. "YEAH! ALL RIGHT!" Naruto exclaimed. "What are you getting so excited about, Naruto?" Sakura asked. "This is the first time I ever left the village! I'm a traveler now, believe it!" "Hey, am I supposed to trust my life to this runt? He's a joke!" Tazuna asked. Kakashi chuckled and replied with a smile, "He's with me and Kamani, and we're both Jounin, so you don't have to worry." Tazuna nodded knowing that Kamani was strong from their last interaction. "Siblings?" He asked. The two Hatake's nodded. "I'm Hatake Kamani (Sometimes I switch, just that I'm going word for word from the English dub (I'm too lazy to translate from Japanese cause it's not entirely the same as the Dub) so sometimes it's the last name then the first name or vice versa. Get used to it. I may go back to edit that.) and this is my older brother Hatake Kakashi." Kamani stated looking up from her book and putting it away. 

Naruto the whole time was fuming over why they had to guard an old geezer like Tazuna. "HEY! NEVER INSULT A NINJA, IT'S A BIG MISTAKE! AND I'M ONE OF THE GREATEST NINJA EVER! Someday I'm going to be Hokage and you'll look up to me. My name's Uzumaki Naruto! Remember it!" He yelled. "Hokage are powerful and wise. You are puny and brainless. The day you become Hokage, I'll sprout wings and fly. They only ones that could become Hokage are your sensei. They look worthy of the title." Tazuna retorted. "AH! SHUT UP! I'M WILLING TO DO ANYTHING TO BECOME HOKAGE, NO MATTER WHAT IT TAKES! AND WHEN I DO, EVERYONE WILL HAVE TO ADMIT THAT I'M THE TOP NINJA! EVEN YOU!" Naruto shouted at Tazuna. "You can become Hokage 10 times over, and to me, you'll still be nobody, a loser." "AH! I'M GOING TO MAKE YOU PAY FOR THAT RIGHT NOW!" Naruto said as Kakashi held him back. "I told you, you're supposed to protect the client, not attack him!" Kakashi said stressing the last few words.

Little did they know that two Mist ninja were watching their every move, well Kamani sensed them but didn't pay any mind to them.

Along the way, Sakura and Tazuna talked a little, learning he was from the land of waves. "Kakashi and Kamani Sensei- I mean Kakashi Sensei and Kamani, there are ninja in that country too, aren't there?" Sakura asked. "No, there are no ninja in the Land of Waves. But in other countries, there are hidden villages, each with their own different customs and cultures, where ninja reside." Kamani answered. 

Another Ninja Lesson :)

"To the people of this continent, the existence of Shinobi villages means strength, military strength. In other words, that's how they protect themselves and maintain the balance of power with neighboring countries. The ninja villages are not managed by any government. They're independent, and have equal status." Kamani explained. "Now, a small island like the land of waves has natural protection from the sea, so there's no need for a ninja village." She added. "The five ancient lands that possess Shinobi villages are the Lands of Fire, Water, Lightning, Wind, and Earth. They each occupy vast territories. Together they are known as the Five Great Shinobi Nations." Kakashi says. "The Land of Fire has the Village Hidden in the Leaves; the Land of Water, the Village Hidden in the Mist; the Land of Lightning, the Village Hidden in the Clouds; the Land of Wind, the Village Hidden in the Sand; and the Land of Earth, the Village Hidden in the Stones. Only the leaders of these hidden villages are permitted the name Kage which means shadow. Hokage, Mizukage, Raikage, Kazekage, Tsuchikage, these are the leaders, the five shadows that reign over thousands of ninja." Kamani finished. She knew a lot since she has gone to all nations and all villages. 

Sakura gasped. "Then Lord Hokage's really important!" She exclaimed. On the inside, she couldn't believe that that old man was so important. She wasn't buying it. Naruto didn't think he was that great since he got him with his Sexy Jutsu. Sasuke just doubted that the Hokage was that important and the village needed him that much. "Hey!" Kakashi called to the three stressing the word, showing he was angry. That got the three out of their thoughts and they realized they were ahead of everyone else. "You all just doubted Lord Hokage, didn't you? That's what you were thinking." Kakashi said a little angry. Kamani didn't care, she technically didn't serve any Kage since she traveled to all villages. For all she knows, any Kage can summon her to be their ninja in a war and she would have to choose. 

They all stopped in their tracks and Sakura and Naruto violently shook their heads no while Sasuke just stood there. "Well, anyway, there are no ninja battles in a C-Ranked mission, so you can relax," Kakashi said reassuringly putting his hand on Sakura's head. "And we're not going to run into any foreign enemy ninja or anything like that," Sakura said. Sasuke and Naruto looked at the two. Kamani chuckled and said, "Not likely."

The team and Tazuna are just walking over a bridge that goes over a lake.  Naruto in the front, then Sasuke, then Sakura, and the two Sensei with Tazuna in the back. The forest was beautiful and only a puddle was disturbing its beauty. The sensei looked at it and then looked at each other and shrugged since there was just a river. Nothing out of the ordinary. But two heads popping out of the puddle said otherwise. 

The two launched at the Sensei, knowing they were the strongest. "What?!" Kakashi exclaimed. Kamani gasped and tried to make the ground rise, but it wasn't fast enough. Both of them got wrapped in spiky chains. The ground attempted to break the chains, but it wasn't strong enough. Sakura and Naruto exclaimed. "Do it!" One man demanded and they both pulled at the same time causing both Sensei to get shredded into bits.

Sakura gasped a shouted since her two Sensei just got killed before her eyes. "K-Kakashi-Sensei!" Naruto shouted. "Ugh! Kamani!" Sasuke said. Naruto felt two presences appear behind him and heard evil laughter. "Now it's your turn!" Naruto wanted to move but he was frozen. He told his body to move but it wouldn't.

Sasuke then jumped up and pulled out a shuriken and threw it at the chain, causing it to get stuck in a tree. He then threw a kunai in the hole of the shuriken so it couldn't get pulled out as easily. "I can't get loose!" One man said trying to pull on the chain. Naruto gasped at what Sasuke just did since he did it with such ease. 

He stepped on both of the man's glove-like mechanisms that were connected to the chain and to each other, one foot on each. He held himself up with his hands on the gloves and kicked each man in the face and the chain ripped off the gloves. They both headed towards Tazuna with the intent to kill. Sakura frantically went in front of Tazuna demanding him to stay behind her. Sasuke gasped and went in front of Sakura since he knew that she had no chance against them. 

But, the men were stopped by Kakashi and Kamani, Kakashi stopping one with his elbow, and Kamani stopping the other with the ground. Both men eyes widened and groaned since they thought they got rid of them. The three gasped at the sight since they saw both of them get shredded by the chains. "Hi." Both said casually like they didn't just get shredded and are back now. 

Sakura gasped. "Kakashi-Sensei! Kamani! You're alive!" She exclaimed. "Hm. Showoff." Sasuke mumbled making a 😒 face. "Huh! But he was-" Naruto looked over at where they got shredded and saw there were only pieces of logs. "They used a substitution Jutsu," Naruto said dumbfounded. 

"Naruto," Kakashi said looking back. "Sorry, we didn't help you right away. We didn't mean for you to get hurt. We just didn't think you would freeze up like that." Kamani finished walking away. Tazuna made a groan/sigh sound since he didn't get hurt and the two Jounin were okay.

They saved me after all... Kakashi and Kamani carried (well the ground, she was too short) the two men and walked over to Sasuke and Sakura. "Good job, Sasuke. Very smooth. You too Sakura." Kakashi said praising the two Genin. Naruto's eyes widened and he looked up. I was useless! And Sasuke was so cool like he'd done this a thousand times! Didn't he feel scared at all? He looked so calm, not a scratch on him, and I was so lame. He had to come up and save me! Ugh! Why can't I keep up with them? 

"Hey," Sasuke said breaking Naruto out of his thoughts. "Yeah?" Naruto asked. "You're not hurt are you? Scaredy-cat." Sasuke says smugly. Naruto growls angrily. "SASUKEEE!" He shouts getting ready to launch at him. "Naruto. Stand still." Kakashi ordered. "These ninjas have poison in their claws. We need to take it out of you quickly." Kamani says. She knows the nine-tailed will help but not for long. He isn't as strong as her tailed beast. 

Naruto gasps and looks at his hand. "You need to open the wound and remove the poison. It's in your blood so don't move around. That spreads the poison." Kakashi explains. "Oh, by the way, Mr.Tazuna..." Kamani says looking at the man. "Uh, yeah?!" "...We need to talk..." She says with a hint of killer intent in her voice.

"They're chunin from the Village Hidden in the Mist. Izumi and Motome, I recognize them. Their specialty is relentless attacks. They keep fighting no matter what the sacrifice." Kamani stated walking away from them. "How did you know about our ambush? How do you know our names?" One asked."I'll answer your second question. Do you not remember me? The Fallen Angel of the Mist? We went on 2 missions together I believe." Kamani asked looking at them straight in the eyes. "K-Kamani!" "Shame we had to meet again like this. Like enemies..." The two looked at her with fear in their eyes, afraid of what she was going to do to them now that they were enemies.

In the mist village, she was known as the Fallen Angel of the Mist. Being only 10, she was impressive for her age. Most feared her because she always completed a mission and came back without a single scratch. Her white hair and pale complexion made her seem like an angel but the way she killed without a second thought proved she wasn't.

 "And a puddle on a clear day, when it hasn't rained for weeks?" Kakashi said. "Then why did you leave it to the genin to do the fighting?" Tazuna asked. "We could have taken them out quickly. But then we'd have learned nothing. I had to know who their target was... and what they were after." He said looking at Tazuna. "What are you getting at?" Tazuna asked. "Kamani sensed them since the gate but didn't know their target so she let them be. We wanted to figure out if they were after us, ninja attacking ninja, or if they were after you, the master bridge builder."

"When you put in your request, you asked for standard protection. From robbers and highwaymen. You didn't say ninja were looking for you, hunting you down. If we knew this, it would have been B-Rank mission or higher. Our task was simply to get you to your destination and protect you while you were finishing the bridge. If we knew we'd be fielding attacks from enemy ninja, we would have staffed differently and charged for the cost of a B mission. Apparently you have your reasons but lying to us is not acceptable. We are now beyond the scope of this mission." Kakashi said.

"Unless..." Kamani stated. "You didn't have the money to pay for a B mission. You just hoped you would get advanced Genin or Chunin. You got less stiff when we said Kakashi and I are both Jounin." Tazuna looked down. Kamani sighed. "Why does no one listen to me. I'm more experienced than all of you. Hmph." Kakashi sighed knowing she was right.

"We are Genin. This is too advanced for our level of training. We should go back." Sakura reasoned. "And I really think we need to treat Naruto's wound and get the poison out as soon as possible. Back in our village, we can take him to a doctor." Kakashi looked at Naruto. "Hmph. Naruto's hand could become a problem. I guess we should go back to the village." Kakashi said dully.

Naruto growled in frustration. No way in hell was he going back. He pulled out a kunai which got everyone's attention. Kamani opened her mouth to say something but Naruto stabbed the wound, causing blood to spill everywhere. "Why am I so different?" (the birth of talk no Jutsu!) Naruto asked. "Why am I always-" He growls from the pain. "Naruto! Stop that! What are you doing?" Sakura yells. 

"I worked so hard to get here, pushing myself until it hurt, training alone for hours, anything to get stronger, to reach my dream! I will never back down again and let someone else rescue me. I will never run away. And I will not lose to Sasuke! *loses against Sasuke* Upon this wound, I make this pledge, believe it! Bridge builder, I'll complete this mission and protect you with this kunai knife." He turns around and smiles. "Don't worry. I'll be fine."

Kamani pulled out a scroll. "Hmph. Naruto, uh, that was really cool how you took the poison out and.. all. But if you lose any more blood you're going to die. I have a scroll for poison treatment but then you stabbed yourself." It was silent. Before Naruto started panicking.

He started sweating and shaking all over. Kakashi, being the smart alec he is, went next to him and said, "Good idea to stop the bleeding now, seriously." with a closed eye smile. "NOT! NOT! NOT!" Naruto shouted as he started to run around. "NO! NO! NO! I'M TOO YOUNG FOR IT TO ALL END LIKE THIS! NO! NO! NO!" 

Kamani sighed and walked next to Kakashi, Naruto still panicking. "Show me your hand." She said holding out her hand. Kakashi, being an overprotective brother, pushed hers out of the way and held out his. Still panicking he showed Kakashi his hand. 

"Naruto! You've got a self-abusive personality. It's called masochism." Sakura said, scolding the panicking yellow-haired kid. Kakashi and Kamani looked at his hand, inspecting it. Kakashi's eyes widened when he saw the wound was already starting to heal. "Hmph. So Kurama is stronger than I thought..." Kamani mumbled, only Kakashi heard her. Kurama, Kakashi wondered, the nine-tailed? 

"Uh, uh, uh." Kakashi and Kamani looked up to see Naruto panicking even more. "You have a really serious look on your face. You guys rarely have that. You're scaring me, am I okay?" Naruto asked shaking and sweating. "Uh, yeah, you'll be fine," Kakashi said as he started to bandage it.

"Wait, Kakashi. There's such a thing called medical ninjutsu." Kamani said holding Naruto's hand. She started to do medical ninjutsu but she made a small 'hmph' sound. "Come on... Cooperate Kurama..." She mumbled. "Who's Kurama?" Sasuke asked. "No one you need to know about," Kamani responded. She grunted again before she sighed and just said, "That's the best I can do... He doesn't want to cooperate..." She mumbled that last part and everyone wondered who 'he' was.

Kakashi looked at her while he bandaged Naruto's hand. The nine-tailed doesn't like the twelve-tailed I'm guessing... This healing power though... It must be from the nine-tailed fox.

Somewhere else

In the dark woods near the Hidden Mist Village was a hut, filled with people. "You failed. You failed?!" A man asked angrily. "What is this amateur night?! I put out big money for you!" A short man, Gato, yelled pointing at an intimidating man with a sword on his back. "I thought you were supposed to be hotshot assassins!" "Stop whining." The man with the sword said grabbing his sword. He quickly swung it so it was in front of Gato's neck, ready to attack if he needed to.

"This time, I'll go personally. And this sword is the last thing he ever sees." He states in a threatening tone. Gato clears his throat before saying, "you sure about that? Apparently Tazuna has two high-level ninjas guarding him. And since your first attempt failed, they'll be expecting you back. They'll be waiting, watching." He said, the sword still at his throat. "It'll take someone with very advanced skills." "Who do you think you're dealing with?" The swordmen asked. "I am Zabuza Momochi, the Demon of the Hidden Mist."
