Money couldn't be shorter now.
Namjoon's dad had a seizour just a few days ago and had to go to the ICU almost dying on the way.
The son barely managed to pay for their old bills as it is, now with the new ones he simply can't anymore.
His mother is less and less at home, trying to in her own way escape her reality. His sister is also helping out, selling cupcakes at her school. Namjoon barely sleeps and only eats when Seokjin makes him, to save up any penny he can.
No matter the efforts ... it's not enough.
Fortunately, Namjoon was given a job offer in another city which should bring him more money. He would have to stop studying and change house as well.
Even with all those things telling him to go, his heart was bound to this city, these people.
He has been wandering this world endlessly, never giving up on his smile and life, sure he would find the person it was worth staying for.
Namjoon held on to that little hope and at the most unintentionally of moments, his soulmate found his way to him.
It was as swift as a feather flying through the wind. As quiet as silence, bringing up his life.
How could he leave?
These boys changed his life, every single one of them. Seokjin popped out the most which doesn't mean the other five didn't mean the world to him.
Jungkook with his cute personality and naive perspective of life trigger his brother instinct and he can't help but feel a certain obligation towards him. And funny enough it's not at all trying to look after him.
The youngster likes to ask him for advice on various things in life. Sometimes Namjoon understands right away where Jungkook is heading with the conversation. Other time's the brunette uses to many hypothetical phrases and he doesn't quite follow.
Fact is, he always manages to help him somehow.
Yoongi is his what can he call him ... male crush. He's older then Namjoon which is subcouniously a way his mind has to tell him he needs some time out from looking after people and start having someone to look after him.
For that, Seokjin is the perfect person. No matter how many times Namjoon denies help, says it's not necessary and acts tough, Seokjin never gives up.
If it weren't for him, Namjoon would have had a breakdown way sooner. He keeps him healthy the best he can without sounding to invasive. Namjoon has grown to know when the older is bad as well.
He knows Mr.Kim is rather exigent with him, one can see that quite well by the way he talk.
Soon he learned to recognize his facial expressions and understand after just a few minutes that Jin was feeling down.
Not to talk about the way they just understand each other. It's like both live each other's lives without actually going through the same things.
They don't know enough yet and most likely never will. To many regrets and scars lie to deep to be revealed. Some are to fragile, to be opened nonetheless. Some other's are flaws one feels to embarrassed about even though they know the other won't judge. It's hard to admit something which tainted us for life.
Taehyung was and still is his first friend, someone who saw right through his smile. It's not a simple brotherhood, the younger really admire the older just like a fan would adore his idol.
Jimin and Hobi were a surprise for him. The other boys are rather shy and reserved, not to talk about their similar financial instability. But these guys shine like the sun, brightening up any possible dark room.
Seperatly they manage to lighten the mood nevertheless together they explode it making anyone smile at their companionship and optimisme.
With this new group they created no one needed to be alone through something, there was always somebody in the storage room who could help out.
That fact helped Namjoon take this rather difficult decision, because he knows no matter what may happen to him, the boys will have each other.
Nevertheless ... he can't bring himself to say bye face to face.
It's to much for him alone, he can't bare to see the boys crying and begging for him to stay since he knows he will faulter.
He knows Jin's devastation will make him stay, he knows the older won't take it easy.
Namjoon gave him wings however is leaving him to his own fate to learn how to use them properly
After today's long shift he reaches the storage room at dawn fogging up the window of the door.
His old ripped clothes barely keeping him warm, he rups both his hands against each other to create a certain heat and prepares his index finger.
"You must survive."
It's all he manages to write, hoping when they open the door in the morning the warmth of the sun produces enough fog to reveal the secret message.
As time passed, Namjoon came to know many of the boys hardships and he is certain at least one could take it to far. For that specific one he isn't that much concerned rather he is for Jungkook.
Somehow he senses something rising up, something hidden behind all that shyiness and hesitation, yet he doesn't know what. What he can say for sure is if one does join the heavens, the other will too.
"Stay strong ... I love you all." He turns around just to dare a last glance back.
This is where he spend the best moments of his life. Not only good ones of course. To many boys in one place always end up in a fight despite that, those were good since each bruise is a lesson and each lesson makes us better. So in order to get more promising results and grow in life one needs to get a lot of cuts and broken bones otherwise life hasn't taught us at all.
