Natsu (POV)

It's been two weeks since I left. I'm going crazy. I miss seeing Lucy I want to hear her voice. I want to hold her in my arms.

Despite my desires to go back I know that I must carry on.

Lucy would be disappointed in me if I come home too soon.

I've been training a whole lot. I've also started meditation, it acctually works. I can feel that I've gotten stronger but... Just how stronger have I gotten?

'What if I don't really change? What if I left only to not make any difference?'

I slapped myself upside the head to rid myself of these thoughts.

"Stop it Natsu, Lucy is counting on you."

I leaned up against a tree and sighed.

I wonder what Lucy is doing? Is she still the same? When I return will we be able to pick up from where we left off?

I couldn't stop thinking about Lucy. I don't think I'll be able to not be there for her for much longer.

"I must train... If I make progress before the year mark I'll go back early. That's what I'll do." I said to myself.

I got alittle adrenaline rush and decided to start my training for the day.

'Another day of training... Is another day closer to seeing Lucy.'

Lucy (POV)

"Lucy how can you do it?" Happy moaned.

"Do what?" I asked.

"Not be sad. I don't get it."

"Happy we talked about this... Natsu is coming back and when he does... He'll be so tired, the first night back we are gonna draw on his face!" I smirked evilly.

"Now your talking." Happy piped up.

"But seriously Lucy... I thought of all people you'd be taking this the hardest." He stated.

"I don't know I guess it's because part of me feels that Natsu is here with me. So... Everything is going to be okay." I smiled.

"Lucy your not Lying to me right?" Happy asked.

"Of course not." I replied.

"How long has it been?" He asked resting on my shoulder.

"Two weeks."

"How much is two weeks?"

"Not a month." I smugly said.

"Hahaha your sooo funny." He sarcastically remarked.

"Patience Happy."

"Is that some kind of food?"

"No its not." I giggled.

"Oh... Lucy I'm hungry." Happy stated.

"Alright I will make some food, okay?"

"Okay." Happy flew off and rested on my couch as I headed to the kitchen.

'I promised that I would wait... Maybe that was a mistake.'

Seven Months Later

Lucy

"Are you sure Lucy? We can go search for him, just say the word." Erza said.

"No it's okay... Really I'll be fine." I replied.

Erza nodded then walked off. I sat at my table at the guild thinking about Natsu. I stood up and Left.

It was harder to keep it in. It's been seven months since I've seen Natsu. I feel incomplete. I miss him so much it's unbearable.

'Natsu.'

I got home went straight to my room and cried... Just like the night when Natsu told me he was leaving.

Natsu (POV)

I was sleeping when I heard a faint voice calling out to me.

"Natsu..."

I sat up and looked around, I saw nothing.

"Natsu."

"Lucy?" I asked.

"Do I sound like Lucy you idiot!" The voice grumbled.

"Who are you?" I asked standing my ground.

"Someone who wants to help. You must return to Magnolia." The voice claimed.

"Magnolia? Why?"

"It's Lucy." The voice said.

At that moment I was angered.

"What have you done to Lucy?!"

"Natsu I wouldn't do anything to Lucy... After all she's my daughter... And I am dead." The voice chuckled.

"Mrs. Heartfilia?"

"Yes... Natsu I don't have anymore time to explain... Return... To... Lucy..." And the voice of Lucy's mother faded away.

'Return to Lucy?'

"She must be in trouble. I have to go! I should have returned when I completed my training." I said to myself packing my bag.

I swiftly left my camping site and made way for Magnolia.

So many thoughts floated in my mind.

Lucy could be dying.

Lucy could be sick and dying.

Lucy could be kidnapped and dying.

Lucy could be anywhere and dying.

Why does every thought think the same thing.

I ran to the nearest town and boarded a train heading to Magnolia. It will take about three day's before I get there... It's the best and fastest way.

Because of my intense training I've become immune to transportation. However I still had an ache in my chest... An ache caused by my worry.

"I'm coming home Luce."

*skip the train ride because it's boring*

I finally made it to Magnolia. I ran straight to Lucy's place.

Lucy- right before Natsu got back.

"LUCY!" Levy shrieked.

She helped me stand up with a worried look.

"I'm fine I just stupidly locked my knees and fainted... It's no big deal." I said.

"Still we should get you checked just in case." She said.

"Okay, you know Levy, you worry too much."

"I'm your friend of course I'll worry."

Levy called Porlyusica and asked her to meet us at my apartment.

Porlyusica told me that I have a small bump on my head and that I should rest in my bed.

Levy and Porlyusica left and there I was... Lying restless in my bed. I really wanted to do something.
I got up went to the kitchen and started doing the dishes.

I was almost done when I felt a breeze.

"Happy is that you?" I asked.

No reply. I walked towards the window when I reached the window I closed it.

I took a few steps back and bumped into something.

I turned around and was greeted with a person's lips on mine. I did what anyone would do and I slapped the person.

The person groaned and I could see them rub their cheek. The light wasn't on so I could only see her shadow. I ran to the switch and flipped it on.

I saw a a familiar smirk on a face that I've longed to see. He stood up straight and smiled.

His smile disapeared as his eyes looked down at my seven months pregnant belly.

"Lucy?"

"Hey, welcome home... Natsu."
