"Oh shoot." You mutter.

"Is that all you can say when you see your parents for the first time in years!" Your mother huffs.
"How did you find out where we are?" you glare at them slightly, trying to show that they are not welcome here.
"Doesn't matter. What matters is that we are here" your father walks in, closely followed by your mum.

Ok. Just barge in. Still didn't invite you. Still not welcome!

"So are you living here by yourself?" your mum, Jenny, sits down on the sofa, where you and Dan were previously snuggling together.
"No. I'm with someone"

Tom, your dad, sits next to your mum, leaning towards you. "Who? How long have you two been together?"

At that exact moment, Dan pokes his head around the door frame. They haven't seen him yet, so that gives you time.
"You cannot freak out. He is really nice and sweet. I love him with all my heart"
"Well then. Let's meet the lad!"

Slowly, you go to the door. Dan is leaning against the wall next to the door. He is grinning like an idiot. He probably heard what you just said. You hug him, then pull him only the front room.

They stare at him. He pulls you towards him as if for protection. "Hello"

"Hello Daniel. How are you?" Jenny smiles.
"I've been better!" He looks down at his feet.
"Ok. How old are you?" Tom stands up and walks towards Dan, causing him to tighten his grip on you.

"Um. 31" he sound very uncomfortable.
"Oh. Two years between you two?"
"Yeah. Why?" your eyebrows knit together.
"You remember Ruben? You were the same age and you both broke up and you were fine. However, there were two years between you and Finn-" your mum starts.
"Mum. We don't talk about him anymore" you glance at Dan who looks at you, and you turn red.
"But I'm just saying-"
"MUM! Just stop!"

A cry comes from Elizabeth's room. Your parents eyes widen.
"No. No you did not. You did not get my daughter pregnant!" Tom's tone becoming more angry and aggressive.

"Dad. Calm down. Dan, come with me" you pull Dan out the room before he gets hurt.

"Ok. You stay here with Liz. I don't want you guys to get hurt"
"You be careful ok!" He hugs you tightly then picks up Lizzy.

Slowly, you creep out of the room. Screaming can be heard from the living room.

"I don't care if she loves him. He got her pregnant! I'm gonna kill him!"
"She loves him! Also, we basically brought them together! Surly you would be fine with this! You said it yourself! You wanted them to hit it off!"
"Yeah, but I didn't want her to have a family so young!"
"It was their choice! Not yours!"
"I bet the kid wasn't even planed."

You storm in, furious. "Dad. You come into my house, without an invite, complain about my boyfriend and threaten him and then insult my daughter. What kind of father are you?"

He glares at you, fire in his eyes. "How dare you speak to me like that?"
"I am not a child anymore dad. I'm 29! I have a child! I'm living with my boyfriend! I don't need you to control my life!" You yell at him.
"Y/N. You will always need me!"
"No dad. Leave now!! I didn't invite you. I still can't forgive you for kidnapping Dan and Phil"
"But it brought you two together!"
"No. He lived on the road behind me. We would have met anyway. Dad leave now"

He looks at you. Angrily he grabs his stuff and storms out.
Mum looks at you apologetically and hugs you. "Can I see the baby?"
"Sure. Just don't bring him. I love you" with that she walks out, closing the door behind you.
