Time for work

The alarm keeps ringing over and over again. FU*K! Why?

I sit up and rub my eyes. Uprising by Muse plays on repeat, trying to drag me out of bed. It finally succeeds.

I crawl out of bed, put on my glasses and walk into the bathroom. I have a shower then brush my teeth and hair. It's black and long. In year 7 I cut it into a bob. It looked so stupid. Plus, I never wore a skirt so everyone thought I was a boy. I will never go back again.
I put it into a plat and pull my fringe out so it dangles in front of my left eye.

I put on blue jeans and a grey hoodie and match those with odd socks. Today's selection is blue stripes and yellow bee's.

My stomach beings to rumble, so I run to the kitchen and pour myself a bowl of lucky charms.
"It's like a radioactive disaster. And now it is inside me!" I giggle. If you can't tell by my choice of words, my miss matched socks and the cat whiskers on my wrist, I am a member of the Phandom. I'm also part of the interweb (Y/N's) fandom. I'm a huge geek.  I love reading, science, writing, TV and maths. And YouTube.

Time for work!

I grab my jacket, bag and run out the door, locking it on the way out.

*On the Tube*

"Bury it, I won't let you bury it, I won't let you smother it, I won't let you murder it" I mutter, scrolling through Instagram on my phone.

In between songs, I hear a voice. A voice that I recognise very well. My head shoots up. To my delight, and shock, Y/N is sitting across from me. Not only Y/N, but Dan Howell and. A baby? Y/N HAD HER BABY! OMG SHE'S SO CUTE!!!

Dan looks up and see's me starring at the little girl, and smiles at me. HOLY SH*T BALLS!!! DAN JUST SMILED AT ME!!

I smile back at him. He looks at Y/N and whispers something in her ear. She takes her attention away from the baby and looks at me. "Hello!" She smiles at me.
"Hi! I'm Uma! I'm a big fan!"
"Hello Uma! Nice to meet you!" Dan leans forward and we shake hands.
"Your daughter is so cute! What's her name?" I wave at her and she smiles at me. My heart aches.
"Her name is Elizabeth. She's three weeks old"
"Hello Elizabeth! I love that name!"

We chat about Elizabeth, YouTube, Muse and everything in between. I also get a selfie with them.
When the train begins to come close to my stop, I stand up. "It was so nice to meet you too. I'm very happy." I grin.
"Wait!" Y/N scribbles something on a piece of paper and hands it to me.
"What's this?" I look at it. It's a phone number.
"You seem nice! Call me and we can hang out sometime!" She smiles. As does Dan and Elizabeth.
The train comes to a holt and the doors open. "I will. Bye!!" Waving, I walk off the train.

OMG!!! I just got Y/N's number! I can't believe it!!

For the rest of the  day, I am skipping around.

As soon as I shut the door when I get home, I punch into my phone Y/N's number and send her a message.

Uma: Hey! I just wanted to check if this is Y/N? It's Uma!

Within minutes she replied
Y/N: This is she!
Uma: Yay! I was worried I had just texted some random person. That I one of my biggest fears!
Y/N: Same!

We talk for hours. She invites me around to hers on Saturday!! I'm so excited. Eventually she has to go put Elizabeth to bed. Once we stop talking, I do what I do every evening. Turn on my TV and watch anime until I fall asleep.
