Xavier was wandering around a small quaint town that he didn't bother to even know the name of when he bumped into someone rather harshly.

Her heard a feminine gasp followed by things clattering everywhere.

Looking down he meets the eye of a beautiful blonde haired woman with bright red eyes. A cold one. She was dressed in pearls and expensive clothing and his mouth parts in awe.

"Mate." He mumbles under his breath.

"Who are you?" The woman questions dumbfounded.

"My name is Xavier, let me help you." He responds and then bends down to pick up everything from her purse that had fallen out.

"I have to go." He whispers sadly as he hands her, her now full bag.

Her eyes widen. "What do you mean? You're my mate you can't just leave." She becomes panicked.

He grabs her by the back of her neck and presses a swift kiss on her cheek. A kiss that felt like goodbye. Pulling away he lays his forehead on her own and mumbles onto her lips. "Wait for me."

And then he was gone.

He watches her from a rooftop about two blocks away search everywhere for him.

But she couldn't come into his life, not yet. Not with his siblings all in coffins and his two brothers hunting the other.

They would kill her with no mercy and he couldn't let that happen.
