The night always bring surprises in random moments. Watching an old movie while the darkness surrounds. The curtain dances as the wind whispers a song. A warm coffee, cold weather, and a song that makes me remember.

I was a kid.

I am a teenager.

And tomorrow I'll be an adult.

Just how fast the night changes? 

I used to think that I am the king of the moon, and the moon guards me until the sun rises. Now, I fell in love with the beauty of the moon. It reigns the darkness beside the moon are the stars that blinks.

From where I am sitting I can see the stars but no moon was seen. I closed my eyes and feel the shivering wind.

"Don't fall asleep the movie is not yet finish!" Sabina said in an annoyed tone. I laughed at her, movies aren't my thing but here I am watching with her.

I held her hand, filling each of the gaps between her fingers. How can my hands perfectly fit on hers? I kiss the back of her hand. She laughed at me. "This is my favorite movie! Don't distract me," she said.

I pointed the sky out of the window, "The moon is beautiful, isn't it?"

She smiled at me and rolled her eyes. "You fool, there's no moon."

"Even though the moon is not up tonight, it is still beautiful as you are when I close my eyes."

The moon and the stars witnessed my youth, when I run away from the chasing dogs. When I slowly learn how life circulates. That time when I fell in love. And I know, the moon will still watch me as I reach my dreams.

The day will come, it will watch me as I stand on the aisle waiting for this girl to hold my hand. We will exchange our vows for a lifetime that awaits for the two of us.
