The soft whispers of the wind made me shiver. The night goes deeper, the darkness comforts me. No stars can be seen, no moon can be found. It was  lonely and agonizing. The fined sands of the shore embraces my feet. The light of the lamppost guides me as I go farther. The coconut trees' cacophonies made me nervous a bit. Do monsters hide in the darkness? Or they are masked as the light?

I wish life is simple, a morning coffee, a smile in the face, and a bright day ahead. No more heartaches, no more emptiness.

I thought this night is an escape for the void you have left, a piece of happiness on the melancholy you gave.

I always go back on the same night, on the same thoughts... on the same place where we promised a lifetime.

I closed my eyes and let myself drift into the waves of memories flashing like a favorite movie that makes my day. Your smile is like a portrait that will always be embedded on my mind. Those dark eyes that reflects the emotion you felt, your lips in a wide smile telling me how happy you are. You held my hand tightly... whispering sweet i love yous, singing me a love song.

In bended knee, you asked a question that I know I will always accept. "Will you marry me?"
