ROSEMARIE POV

After we left the restaurant I followed Git to wherever we were going.

And right now we were underground and walking down a path with little light.

"Where are we going?"

"You're about to find out," Git says. A few seconds later I saw a light "home sweet home"

Just then I saw tons of rats and then I saw them look at me as we walked passed them.

"They're staring at me" I grab his arm.

"Can you blame them" Git says "your a pretty little thing"

"Shut up" I said as I blush and look down.

Just then I saw a rat 🐀 that looked older than the others.

"Git, who is this?" He asks. "And what is she doing here?"

"Rosemarie" I look at Git "this is Django, he is Remy and Emile's father and the leader of the colony and I brought her here sir"

"Why?" Django asks.

"She was alone and crying in the rain and was hungry and you welcomed me into the colony and she needs a place to stay" Git says.

"I welcomed you because you needed a good home, but she's no ordinary rat" Django says.

"I'm not ordinary either" Git says "I was a lab rat 🐀 and experimented on and this is how I turned out"

"I know your story" Django says. "But she is a house pet" he points to me "and house pets are different"

"I was a pet" I said and he looks at me "my owner took me out of my home and left me all alone on the street and I waited for days for her to come back and when she didn't I broke down and then" I look at Git "he found me crying and helped me" I then looked back at Django "please, I may have been raised by humans but I did pick up a few things that humans do and maybe I could help improve your home. I'm very handy"

"I still can't except you here, I'm sorry" Django says "I can't stand human pets and believe me, I've made an exception to Remy's human friends, but I still can't"

"But she doesn't have any place to go" Git says. "Rosemarie can you leave us a lone for a moment?" Git asks.

"Sure"

I then walk away and let them talk.

GIT POV

After she walked away I looked at Django with my arms crossed.

"Don't give me that look"  Django says "she can't stay here"

"She has no place to go"

"Still no" Django says "why do you care so much?"

I look at her and I saw her looking at the band and then I looked back at Django.

"I like her" Django gasps and we look at her "she's the most perfect and most prettiest thing I've ever seen" I look at him "and if you won't except her then I'm out"

Django gasps again "you wouldn't do that"

"Try me" I said and changes the subject "Do you remember your mate?"

"Of course I do" Django says "I could never forget my her and mother to my boys"

"Then how do you think she would feel that you kept another rat 🐀 from being happy"

He sighs in defeat "fine, she can stay, but she's your responsibility"

I smile "thank you" I look at her "Rosy" she looks at me and I use my hand to tell her to come here.

"I said don't call me that" Rosemarie says "and what is it?"

"Git, here" Django says and she looks at him "has convinced me to let you stay, but he is to stay with you, until I know you can be trusted"

"Alright" Rosemarie says.

After that we left and I took her to my place to sleep and it was a giant tire 🛞 that was hanging.

"I know it's not much, but it's comfortable"

I then pick her up and put her in the tire and then I hopped into it and laid down on the other side.

And we went to sleep.

But in the middle of the night I felt a shake on me and I opened my eyes and see her and she looked scared.

"What's wrong?"

"The storm has gotten stronger and the echos in here are making it louder and it scared me" Rosemarie says.

I then open my arm "come lay down next to me and I promise you will always be safe with me"

She then lays next to me and lays her head on my chest and after a few minutes she was out.

I then rub her face and admire her.

"Sleep tight, Rosy"

After that I fell back to sleep with my arm around her.
