NO ONES POV

It was a stormy night and Git was walking back to where the colony was after being on patrol looking for anything dangerous that was a threat to the Colony.

As he was about to turn the corner and go into the location of the colony in the sewer.

Just then he heard crying and that made him stop and he followed the crying.

He then saw a white rat 🐁 with tears going down her face.

"Hello," she gasps and looks at him "Are you ok?"

"I'm fine" She looks away.

"Someone who's crying that looks as pretty as you is not fine," Git says walking to her "You shouldn't be in the rain"

"So what," she says "I have nothing"

"If you have your life then you have something," Git says.

"You sure have a good choice of words on you," she says.

"I got them from a friend" he then heard her stomach growl "Are you hungry?"

"Yeah," she says.

"Follow me," Git says as he puts his paw out for her to take it.

She was hesitant at first but took his hand, and they walked.

As they walked she looked at him closely and she could tell that he was different and bigger from the other rats she had met.

"Where are we going?" She asks.

"To a friend of mine and what's your name?" Git asks.

"My name is Rosemarie," she says. "What's yours?"

"That's pretty, and long, how about Rose or Rosy for short," Git says. "And my name is Git"

"I'll stick with my name please," Rosemarie says. "And it's nice to meet you"

"As you wish," Git says "but I think Rosy is prettier"

She blushes but hides it.

When they arrived at the restaurant they went to the back side of it and Git saw Emile weighing tables with a bow tie.

Emile was working there now and he brought food to the customers and sometimes Remy would have to watch him to make sure he didn't eat their food.

"Git," Emile says walking to him "Hungry again are you?" He then saw her hiding behind him "Who's this?"

"This is Rosemarie and she's hungry," Git says.

"Git" They turn their heads and see Remy walking this way with a chef's hat.

"Hi Remy," Git says.

"Back so soon," Remy says "Hungry again?"

"It's for her" Git moves to the side and they see her completely "She's the one who's hungry"

"Hello," Remy says "My name is Remy, and the chef of this place"

"You cook here?" Rosemarie asks.

"He's the cook to everybody," Emile says "he cooks for rats and humans and only a few people know the secret"

"Wow," Rosemarie says.

"So can you hook her up with some food?" Git asks.

"Coming right now," Remy says and then walks away.

Git then takes her to a table and after a few minutes, Remy returns with food.

"Thank you," Rosemarie says.

"You are welcome," Remy says "Enjoy"

He then leaves and Git keeps her company as she eats her food.

And he noticed that she eats fancy.

"You sure eat fancy," Git says.

"I used to be with this rich family and they ate fancy and I picked up a few things," Rosemarie says.

"I was with humans too" Git points to the tag on his ear "I was a lab rat 🐀 and they would put all these needles 💉 into me and that's how I turned out like this"

"That's terrible," Rosemarie says "How did you get out?"

"There was a lab accident and it caught on fire and thanks to the chaos I broke free from my cage and I got out of the lab and I became a free rat," Git says.

"Is it true that rats live in colonies?" Rosemarie asks.

"Yes, and it was Remy's dad who accepted me into the colony and I've been loyal ever since," Git says.

"Is there a lot of you?" Rosemarie asks.

"Are you kidding" Git chuckles "There's loads of us"

"Wow," Rosemarie says and then gets sad.

"What's wrong?" Git asks.

"I don't know what to do," Rosemarie says as her voice breaks and her eyes begin to water. "I don't know what to do at all"

"Do what?" Git asks.

"I have nowhere to go," Rosemarie says as she wipes the tears away "I have no home"

"I think I can help with that," Git says. "But for now, eat up and then we'll go"

"Ok," Rosemarie says and continues to eat.

After she got her full she thanked Remy for the food and Git and Rosemarie left and left.
