Carmen pov

Valentine's day to everyone is the perfect day to confess to the ones your in love with and not getting rejected hopefully. However, I find it to be the worst day in existence since I never get the one person I have a crush on to notice me, Vivian Santiago. Vivian is the most popular girl in the whole school and everyone knew it. She can be a bully at times but it's only if that person did something that she didn't like.

For example one of the jocks was bullying a girl because she has a girlfriend instead of a boyfriend. She got her three brothers, who are on the wrestling team, and taught that jock a lesson. Now I thought she would get her boyfriend to do it for her until she told everyone that they're not dating. They both were getting asked out after that but Edgar, the one who I thought was her boyfriend, said that he was interested in someone else. Vivian also said the same thing but guys still try to ask her out.

Anyway, I've been putting love letters in her locker hoping that she would know it's me but she never looks at them. I would see her putting it in her bag and just walk off with her friends. My friend Spencer said to just go and ask her in person. I would always say I can't and he would say I'll come with to make sure you don't back out of asking her.

" It's Valentine's day and it's the perfect time to ask her," Spencer said looking at his phone.

I rolled my eyes before shutting my locker. He always says that every valentine's day and I never do it.

" Can't she's going to ask the person that she likes to be her Valentine. So I missed my chance, Spencer." I replied quietly.

He sighed at my replied but didn't say another word as we walked to our class. It was always like this and I mean I'm thankful that Spencer is trying to help me but I don't want to be rejected when I already know that I'll be rejected. After two minutes of silence, we made it to our classroom only to have a shock of our lives. At the corner of the room, there was a pink and red bag at our desk.

We both looked at each other and walked to our desk. Spencer started to take things out and found all his favorite bands, black beanie, black eyeliner, black bracelets, black choker with a bell on it, a black heart-shaped ring, $500 iTunes card and a note that made him blush like a tomato. He sat down and reread the note.

I opened my bag to find a red Alexander McQueen Four-Ring Leather Clutch, a red choker, red headband, red heart earrings, a gold and diamond earbuds, and two different notes. I sat down and opened the white envelope first. I blushed when it turned out to be a love note and after I read it a few times I was about to open the red envelope when the teacher walks in. I put the bags down off my desk but left the red envelope on my desk.

" Alright, students since it's Valentine's day I will let you all go on your phones and talk but make sure you're not too loud." Mrs. Gray said.

Everyone went to their friends and started talking to each other. I looked over at Spencer to see him blushing at the note. I turned and looked at the red envelope on my desk. I opened the red envelope and found a really beautiful red sparkling card. When I opened the card it wasn't what I expected.

I know you like games that make you hunt for things but since we have a half day I can only give you one to "look" for. After you find it I will ask you an important question and I really hope you'll agree. Oh and I'm not a guy just so you know.

After reading I got excited and ready to go to my locker. Oh, how do I know it's in my locker? Well, theirs a room that the school says that it's an astronomy class but it's really a chemistry class since the school has zero money to have one. SO my locker happens to be right next to it.

" Hey let me see your note," Spencer said holding out his.

I gave him mine and took his and read it. Now his was very perverted but at the same time sweet. However, I noticed that the handwriting belongs to Edgar who is best friends with Vivian. I would have never thought that Edgar who is the most innocent speaking and looking guy can have such a dirty mind. Then again Spencer kinda looks like he knows all the dirtiest things when he really is very innocent.

We give the others notes back and as I did at the corner of my eye I saw both Edgar and Vivian looking at us, of course, they both turned away when Spencer started to look in their direction. Spencer and I shared a look at each other and know something was up. Now they probably are our secret admirers but we aren't taking chances if their not.

~20 minutes later~

That class felt like it took two hours but thankfully they are letting everyone leave early. Spencer and I separated since his locker is on the second floor. I rushed to my locker and opened it to find a classic red heart with white frills. I opened it and read the first and only clue. I'm just thankful that today we only have one class left.

Vivian's pov

Carmen should be reading the clue now and I'm kinda excited and nervous. I've had a crush on Carmen for about seven years and never got the courage to ask her out. Edgar my best friend had the same problem but that was before we knew that they loved cliche things. So we decided to ask them to be ours on Valentine's day which is both cliche and romantic.

So I'm waiting on the bleachers holding a dozen wooden red roses which represents my lasting love for her, a red Chloe Mini Drew Leather Saddle Bag, the whole collection of harry potter books, and a whole day to get whatever she wants. I looked at all the gifts to make sure that everything was in place and then the doors open.

I look up to see Carmen in that beautiful red flowing dress. She doesn't normally wear dresses but today's a very special day. I stand up with the wooden flowers and card in hand as she walks over. She's blushing as she walks toward me with the note in her hand. When she's a foot from me I give both of them.

" Happy birthday and Valentine's day Carmen~" I said to her

She blushes and takes them.

" Oh, and will you be my Valentine's and my girlfriend?" I asked her.

Her eyes were wide and her blush depened into a redder shaded. It looked really cute but I waited for her reply and what I got was way better. I got the biggest kiss that I have ever gotten.
