do you know how feminism looks like?

it's not bashing that one misogynist on facebook

that you don't understand how you're still friends with. 

it's not marching up wall street and demanding for better pay,

and it's not singing a song about how you're some special snowflake

claiming you're not like other girls and you're different and therefore

that makes you better.

that, my friend, is the opposite of feminism.

feminism is embracing all types of women-

from the girls who prefer not to wear makeup and live in sweatpants,

to the ones who do and likes to flaunt it (not because they want attention from men),

from the girls who wants to remain abstinence, 

and the ones who are just really down for a really good time,

feminism is about loving every fucking female,

no matter what they like,

no matter what they're into.

it's not about repressing one person for their habits,

and it's not about rejecting a whole other 'stereotype'.

because when my daughter asks me what feminism is, 

you know what i'll tell her?

feminism is knowing how to accept.
