ANA
I have a little imaginary friend name Ana,
She's really pretty with sunken cheekbones,
Protruding collarbones and extremely skinny,
But her words are as heavy as stones.
I have an imaginary friend name Ana,
She tells me pretty girls don't eat,
Even when the hunger gnaws at my stomach,
Her friend Mia makes me puke up everything.
I have an imaginary friend name Ana,
Who makes me run when I feel like falling,
But I still do it because it's worth it,
Miles and miles of the journey to keep on going.
I have an imaginary friend name Ana,
Who reminds me to look like the rest of the world,
Thin and tall- because that's how you get boys to like you
Her words echo: It's supposed to hurt.
I have an imaginary friend name Ana,
Whose love is as threatening as death,
She pulls at the imaginary rolls and fat,
and is the reason I'm taking my last breath
