Due to the strict and harsh training that you under go through the academy, many get weeded out instantly during the first few months as a cadet. But the alumni of the academy boasts 100% acceptance to any Military Colleges that they apply to, due to this, there is always a competition among different countries for open slots in the academy.
Despite the multinational learning institution and the fact that it is related to military matters, there's a unwritten mutual respect and understanding between the students as the academy heavily emphasizes on the culture of teamwork and cooperation.
The bond between the cadets is strong that despite being from different countries, after they graduate they still kept in touch with each other as brothers-in-arms.
But also due to this bond that when a war breaks out from different countries, Those graduates who had friends from the other country would eventually face each other in combat. And when it comes to this, they would square this off like they were trained to do, and do their duties of what's expected of them as military personnel but with the highest honor, respect and dignity.
Though there are many students from different countries the most common nationalities that is present in OMA are from Germany, United Kingdom, Russia, France, United States, Japan and China.
If you are from another country, the moment you enter the gates of the Academy as a student you'll immediately be considered as a "Representative" of your respective country. More would drop out after the 1 month orientation before the official class starts and the OMA only takes around 10,000+ students and further screening is done to whittle down the numbers.
The Instructors teaching in the academy are certified combat veterans that completed military service in their country, Some are instructors are even alumni's of OMA and decided to teach after their military service.
This is why the OMA was able to maintain the high-standards that is famous for, as Professional Instructors of High Caliber are the ones handling the training of the cadets.

- OMA Rank Structure -
OMA's rank system is divided according to your Year. There are four distinct classes of the student body of the Olympus Military Academy which is officially called the Cadet Corps of The Olympus Academy (CCOA) and it is composed of the four distinct classes:
The 4th class cadets are the first year students. In the Academy, they are traditionally called "plebes" and are the equivalent of the high-school freshmen in civilian high schools.

The 3rd Class Cadets, The life of 3rd class cadets, sophomores/Juniors in civilian high-schools, and called the "yearlings" in the Academy, starts upon completion of 4th class year. Although they are the least ranking of the upper-class cadets, they are now entitled to the privileges of being upper class cadets. One of their responsibilities is being a "buddy" to a plebe. As buddies, they set the examples of how a cadet should behave and they are responsible for ensuring that the plebes conform with the standards of cadet-ship.

The 2nd class Cadets are also called the "cows." The second class year marks the point at which the cadet starts to specialize according to the branch of service he or she has elected to join. Thus, the second class cadets no longer take the same subjects as each of his or her classmates but they now take different subjects depending on their branches of service and fields of specialization. Within the cadet chain of command, the second class cadets are often tasked as Squad Leaders over the responsibility of running the Cadet Corps.

They also enjoy certain privileges peculiar only to the "firsties." Their academics are also more specialized as they now embark on the final year of their training for future officership and to be sent to their respective Military Academies or to continue studying into OMA Military College after you graduate in OMA High School Division.

- OMA School Carrier(s)-
School Ships has been around since the times of Roman Empire. Throughout history, many ships has been modeled for school ships, such as Caligula's Giant Ships, and even British battleship HMS Dreadnought in the age of steam. In fact, it's the British who perfected the concept of school ship system. Nowadays, most of School Ships was modeled from aircraft carriers since carriers has flat top that's very suitable to make a city living environment.
OMA also has a school carrier of it's own, well there's three actually with the main ship being the Little Garden, sailing side by side with 2 other ships.
Little Garden - Little Garden is a massive aircraft carrier of 12 km in length 6 km in width, with a city built on top of it build by the Olympus Arms Industry. Their purpose was to train potential soldiers to prepare them for Officer-ship in their respective countries , as well as a location for the research and development of new Arms and Weapons.
The main school is located here in the little garden as well as most of the necessary facilities for permanent living. Also has a shopping district that rests in the center of Little Garden where clothing and apparel shops, along with taverns and bars and even toy shops could be seen.
Ataraxia and Atlantis - Ataraxia and Atlantis are sister ships of the same class. Also a massive aircraft carrier of 8 km in length 7 km in width, with a city built on top of it also built by the Olympus Arms Industry.
Ataraxia is a specialized ship. It's specialized to become a training grounds for all forces and has by far the most largest Training facility and training fields among the 3 ships almost 75% of the ship is a training ground. But that's not what makes Ataraxia special, below it's deck is a 5 kilometre by 5 kilometre controlled indoor training field that can simulate any combat environment starting from the Frigid arctics to the Hottest of the Sahara, The unforgiving Jungles of the Amazon and to the flat plains of West Siberia. This is frequently used during SERE training. Ataraxia also has a dock at the bottom, which is mostly used by the NavalCorps for their training which housed multiple ships used for training.
Atlantis also a specialized ship, it is more specialized for permanent civilian housing mostly housing the families of OMA personnel and students. since it is a residential type of ship, it hold most of the population of the OMA.
Hourly flights running for 24 hours connect all 3 ships, and is the main source of transportation among the 3 ships.
Kriegsspiel is a genre of developed by the army in the 19th century to teach battlefield tactics to officers. The word Kriegsspiel literally means "wargame" in German, but in the context of the English language it refers specifically to the wargames developed by the Prussian army in the 19th century. Kriegsspiel was the first wargaming system to have been adopted by a military organization as a serious tool for training and research. After Prussia's impressive victory over France in the , other countries swiftly began designing Kriegsspiel-like wargames for their own armies.
The Kriegsspiel that OMA practices is now very similiar to a Field Training Exercise .The OMA Kriegsspiel are usually practice "Live Wargames" which provide fairly realistic scenarios and situations based on actual situations a unit might face if deployed. Kriegsspiels can be performed by squad and sized units, but most of these exercises involve units ranging from a company up to a regiment or brigade due to the large of student population.
Kriegsspiel matches are done in Phases....Kriegsspiel matches, are announced a month before the actual month, during this time, Opposing forces are allowed to send spies to each other for sabotage or intelligence. This is immediately effective as soon as both sides are informed of the match and agreed. Maps are provided to the Commanding Officers of both sides as well as early access to the playing field to survey the surroundings. This phase is called the Preparation phase.
Pre-war phase, the pre-war phase (otherwise known to the troops as D-DAY -1) the phase, the day before the match, this is the phase where, Equipment is unloaded from their respective school ships and Final preparations are done. This is also the phase where Instructors, Judges, and Referee's inspect all equipment that is to be used in the fight.
War phase is the phase where the Battle takes place. Each Kriegsspiel match has a time limit of 21 days and 20 nights (Night time operations are allowed combat is allowed 24/7 within the time limit), after that, depending on what type of game mode are you playing a winner is decided. Strict rules are in place inorder to ensure the safety of the players in the field.
All vehicles are allowed on the field as long as it passes through inspection, depending on the Map, OMA NavalCorps are allowed to join with their warships, though light and small crafts are allowed when a body of water is present.
All equipment such as grenades, rifles, ETC... are specially modified in-order to take OMA Kriegsspiel certified bullets. Grenades has a small charge on it, when it explodes will knock you over and spikes fly coated with specialized chemicals the makes your muscles relax to simulate being hit by a shrapnel (applies to all explosives)
Melee weapons such as bayonets, knives, ETC... are also coated with a specialized chemical that when gets inside the body can induce a sleeping effect. With that hand to hand combat is allowed. When a combatant get's knocked out, he/she will be considered KIA.
When it comes to Aerial Combat, use of AAM's are allowed (but severely downgraded) dog fight's are also allowed, when an Aircraft is considered "out of action" Flares and black-smoke are deployed to simulate an aerial explosion. SAM's and other AA's are also allowed and functions in a similar manner.
(There are many more rules but I'm too lazy to input them all... Yes...I am that lazy...)
After the the War phase, comes the Post war phase, this phase primarily revolves around the clean up of the battlefield, the recovery of personnel and equipment, and the announcement of winners and a War debrief. After that, awards will be given after the fight on both sides, then maybe a Banquet to celebrate the culmination of the battle.
- End -
Soo new story...Just bare with it for now as on some parts I clearly don't know what the fuck I'm talking about as this has proven to be harder that it seems....As people from my home country may have noticed the OMA's stuff are very somewhat similar to the ones in PMA..Yes I did take "some" inspiration from the PMA....mainly due to the fact that I come from the Philippines and this is only one of the few military academies that I know other than MAAP and PMMA which are more into nautical stuff so I didn't use it...Anyways just enjoy it as I stressfully work on the other chapters :D (I also took some from the USMA so I'm not entirely biased XD)
This story is heavily influenced by 's "The devil dogs of senshado" which I highly recommend that ya'll check it out!
