Ashokas pov

I pulled out two saucer chairs and retrieved my hidden nail polish in my bathroom. Tonight was the night! Me and Barris were given the night off to relax a little and spend some time preparing for our upcoming missions, but Barris and I had other plans. I heard a knock at my door and giggled in delight. I then opened the door to reveal my BFF with loaded arms full of various items. "Did you get the supplies?" "Yes yes yes yes!!!" We squealed together and started to set things up. "Alright we have everything... I think. Karaoke supplies?" "Yes." Barris stated annoyed. "Movies?" "Yes." "Cupcakes?" "Yes." "Extra nail polish?" "For the last time yes! We have everything." I sighed "sorry I just want this to be perfect. We're never able to do this. It's considered reckless for a Jedi." Barris put a hand on my shoulder and with the other shoved a cupcake in my mouth."Relax everything will be fine, just have some fun for once." I ate the cupcake that was put in my mouth and smiled. She's right, I just need to breathe and relax. Besides the night is young. I got an idea and set up the karaoke machine."Join in with me Barris!"She eagerly grabbed a mic and so we started.

When we finished we were laughing up a storm! "O my gosh if our masters heard us!" Barris said through giggle fits. "What Anakin would say!" We laughed more at the thought of there faces, thank heavens they weren't here. When we were finished with our laughing fit Barris requested to pick the next song. "Ready?"I smiled and replied. "Ready."

We proceeded in the end with our secret BFF fist bump and laughed more. "This is the most fun I've ever had!" Barris was too chocked up on her laughter, she could only shake her head in agreement. "Like totally!"
"Alright let's move on, nail polish and movies?" Barris grabbed the movies "Sure why not." While she got the movie options out I grabbed the nail polish supplies. "Alright these are the movies I snagged from the library. Which one do you want to watch?" I looked over the options. We had "Thor", "Tangled", "Guardians of the galaxy", "Brave", "Night and Day", "Frozen", "50 First Dates", "Mall cop", and "Rango". I already made my decision though and apparently Barris had noticed. We both looked each other in the eye and smiled. "Frozen!" we both said without missing a beat. I put the movie on and pulled out the chairs while Barris fetched some comfy blankets and pillows. "Can I paint yours?" I asked her. "Sure if I can paint yours." We sat down, got to work, and watched the movie. An hour later we finished our nails and the movie, now we were admiring each other's work.

In the end we were quite satisfied with each other's work. "Next movie?" I nodded in agreement. We later voted on "Thor" and then ate popcorn and cupcakes. Classic girl movie food. The ending made us cry. "He had to leave Jane." I said in tears "And then he lost his brother." We cried our hearts out until there was no more tears or water at all in our eyes. "Well look on the bright side, Thor was so cute!!!" I laughed "Are you kidding me! Loki was way more cute than Thor!!!" We broke up in to more laughter and finished up our cupcakes. "One more movie?" We then watched "50 First Dates." It was a really good movie!  I looked at the clock. 12:45 already! "Barris look at the time!" She turned to look and gasped. "No no no no!!! This can't be over already!" I sighed at the thought. "15 more minutes?" I asked hopefully. "Well what do you want to do with our 15 minutes?" "Talk?" Barris smiled "So... I hear that you met up with some really cute guy. What's his name? Lux was it?" I couldn't help but blush. "No way the rumors are true!" I freaked out at what she had just said. "What rumors?" "I just heard it from some of the clones, about this Lux and you." I blushed even more when she said his name again. "Alright enough with the boy talk, what else is new?" We talked about our training, past missions, lightsabers, and other various subjects. We were sad when we looked at the clock. 1:03. "Time to go." Barris said in disappointment. We cleaned up my dorm and said our goodbyes. "Maybe we can do this again soon?" "Yeah maybe." We smiled while I whipped a tear from my eye. Barris turned to go but suddenly stopped. "I almost forgot!" She reached in to her bag and pulled out a camera. "Say cheese!" We did bunny ears on each other and looked into the camera with big grins. After we recovered from the temporary blindness from the flash we gave one last hug. "Here's one for you and one for me!" She said and handed me a copy of the photo. "Bye Ashoka." "Bye Barris." Once she left I brushed my teeth and grabbed my PJs. I went to turn off my bedroom lights but before I did, I searched my night stand drawer for some tape and a marker. I grabbed the picture of me and Barris, wrote a sentence on it and then taped it to my closet wall. "That's a keeper!" I stated to myself. I read out loud my written sentence on the picture "Barris and Ashoka, best friends forever!".

Years later after order 66.

"Barris and Ashoka, best friends forever.". I broke into tears reminiscing the old memory. In my heart I still knew the truth. Through it all, we're still best friends. I wiped away the tears and smiled, realizing the truth. And nothing can ever change that. We will forever be best friends.
