Chapter 8: Maid by Day, Princess by Night

Jack's house in the front looked like a normal house with just with just the porch lights on. But in the back, it was just like Jack said, it was a fairytale. It was like walking in Rikugien Garden in Tokyo. There were lights everywhere, even some of the flowers looked like they were glowing. I tighten my arm around Jack's arm making him place his hand on my making me look up at him, "Hey it's going to be alright." "Easy for you to say, you deal with rich people all the time, I'm just a maid remember?" I say making him smile, "Yes but a very beautiful maid, and tonight you're not a maid remember? You are my date." He says again making me roll my eyes, he was such a charmer.

We start to walk up the stairs to the porch to see at less a dozen people up there talking and drinking. I see a waiter walk over to Jack and I holding a plate of drinks. "Wine ma'am?" The waiter ask as Jack takes two glasses and hands one to me. "Wait... I..." I start to say but the waiter was already gone. I turn back to Jack as he takes a sip of his wine, "Jack, I don't drink..." I say not wanting to tell him why I didn't drink, there was no reason for him to know. "Come now Elsa, one drink won't hurt plus if you do drink to much, Riku-San will take you back to your friends house." I couldn't argue with that so I slowly take a sip feeling the cold bubbles going down my throat and already feeling my cheeks getting warm. Damn myself for being a lightweight.

I take Jack's arm again as we start to walk through the crowd of people until we reach a man that had his hair slicked back and was wearing some glasses and I knew right away that was Jack's father Haru Fujita. Right next to him was Jack's mother Amy wearing a beautiful long sliver dress that made a small train behind her and next to her wearing a pink Kimono with purple flowers on it I'm guessing is Jack's sister and she looked just like her father with long black hair that was tied back with a pink ribbon. I see the little girl look our way as she gives a big smile, "Jack!" She screams as she starts to run to us.

I watch as Jack goes close to the ground as the little girl jumps into Jack's arms for a big bear hug. "Hello birthday girl!" Jack says as she kisses the little girl on the cheek making her giggle. I see Jack turn to me, "Elsa, this is my sister Fujita Emma." I bow to Emma, "It's nice to meet you Fujita-San." I say making Emma giggle, "Just Emma, I don't like being called my last name." She says making me smile, "Neither dose your brother." I say locking eyes with Jack only to have give me that rare smile I like.

"Is Elsa your date brother?" Emma ask making Jack nod, "She is. She's very pretty isn't she?" I feel my cheeks get red as I take  another drink of my wine finishing it off. I might need a lot of wine tonight if this is how Jack is going to be acting, I need to keep my emotions under wrap. I see a waiter walk by again as I grab another glass while Jack wasn't looking. "Ah Elsa, you made it." I hear a sweet but terrifying voice making me look to see Amy and her husband walk to us. I quickly bow as they stop in front of us. "It's lovely to see you again Mrs. Fujita, and an honor to meet you Fujita-San." I say as I straighten back up to see Haru looking me up and down.

"So you are the girl my wife has been talking about huh? She is quite fascinated by you." Haru says making me blush a little as I look at Amy who just shrugs and takes another drink of her wine making me copy. "I also hear you are working for my son, he is being a gentleman to you I hope." Haru ask as he looks at Jack who put his little sister down. "Of course Mr. Fujita." I say making Jack quickly look at me like he was shocked. "Fujita-Chan has been nothing but a gentleman, and a wonderful friend to say the less. I'm very honored to work for him and to call him my friend." I say keeping my eye contact with Jack, I couldn't tell what he as thinking and he wasn't showing anything through his eyes which scared me.

"I'm glade to hear that, my son can be a tuff bastard some times, specially with woman." Haru says making Amy laugh, "I wonder where he gets that from." She says as she smacks her husband's arm making him stiff up, "When we first meet, he was a such a heartbreaker. Girls wanted to be with him and he just turned them down one by one. But for some odd reason, he wouldn't leave me alone. We even caught him trying to sneak on my base I was working at to see me." She says with a laugh as Haru cleared his throat, "I won't apologize for that my dear." He says as he turns Amy to face him grabbing her chin lightly, "You know why I did some crazy actions back then." He say as he kissed her lightly making Emma and gag and Jack roll his eyes.

"I said you two couldn't be like this at my party." Emma said with a huff making her parents stop and look at their daughter, "She's right. Sorry my love." Amy said as she faces me again, "Now, I would like to take Elsa and show her around the house." Amy said as she grabs my hand and starts to pull me. "Mother... I don't think that's a good idea." Jack says grabbing my other hand tightly. I look at Jack, he looked upset, the most emotions I've seen since we got out of the car. "Oh Jack don't be silly, she'll be fine. No one is going to hurt her."  Amy said giving him a glare I've seen on his face before.

I look back at Jack, "Hey." I say as I slip out of Amy's grip and cup Jack's face, "I'm going to be okay. I'll stay by your mother's side." I whisper as I look down at Emma, "Why not take the little princess and have a dance?" I say making Emma clap her hands like she was praying, "Please big brother?" She bagged giving him some puppy dog eyes. I see Jack's eyes look at Emma before they look back at me. "Stay by my mother, don't talk to anyone." Jack whisper making me kiss him on the cheek making him blush. "I will." I say as I turn back to Amy who just smiles and loops arms with me, "Lets go dearie." She says as she pulls me away.

I look back at Jack to see him looking at us before I see Emma grab his hand and pull him to go dancefloor, I felt like he needed that. "Now, where should we begin?" I hear Amy ask as we walk through the back doors. The first thing I see, besides a ton of people again is a large living room with a white sectional and a flat screen TV playing music videos on it. I take a quick look before Amy pulls me away in to the kitchen where I see a cook making something on the stove top. "We hired a chef tonight and had our regular chef have the night off, poor thing works to hard." Amy says as I look around again.
Big kitchen with a big frigid, a big stove top and two ovens. A rich person kitchen is how I see it. "Down that hallway is Haru's office, I try not to go in there if I can help it. It's like a damn maze." Amy laughs making me giggle with her as I finish my drink, I feel like I need to slow it down with the drinks, I don't want to make a fool of myself. We start to walk upstairs that is being taken over by people as a waiter tries to walk down holding another tray of drinks. I place my empty glass on the tray not even going to grab another drink but I see a hand reach in a grab one handing it out me.

"Can't stop the fun now can we?" Amy ask with a wink making me giggle a little feeling the alcohol take an effect on me. "Why not?" I say as I take a drink remembering to take it slow. "Mrs. Fujita, how many people are here?" I ask as we reach the upstairs. "Oh lord who knows, most of these people are here to suck up to my husband or they already work for him." Amy says as we stop at a door, "This is Emma's room, umm that room is a bathroom, oh and this room..." Amy kept on talking as I kept looking around trying to listen.

I look at one wall to see a family picture, I walk over to the picture to see everyone look so happy. "Oh this is my favorite picture." I hear Amy say behind me making me look at her to see her smiling at the picture. "We took this picture about two ago, you see that smile on Jackson's face?" Amy ask making me nod, it's the rare smile I like, the one I get lucky enough to see maybe twice. "He use to smile like that all the time until he started to work for his father, I think the stress has gotten to him." I see Amy stop looking at the picture and look at me, "That was, until you came into his life." She says making me raise an eyebrow, "I.." I start but she put her hand up making me stop, "I don't know what you did to my son, or what you are doing with him, all I know is that boy that is in that picture has been not the same for the last two years, and then one day he came home and he would gave me that smile.

"I just want to say thank you, thank you for making my boy happy again." Amy says as I see some water go into her eyes. I didn't know what to do, I was almost in panic mode, and I hugged her. I can feel her body stiffen up probably because she was surprised that I hugged her until I feel her arms wrap around me making me smile, "I'll do whatever I can to keep that smile on his face." I say not knowing if I meant it or not. I pull away form Amy to see her smile and wipe her eyes before she giggles, "How silly was this?" She says making me giggle, "I blame it on the alcohol." I say making her laugh again as we start to walk off again.

"Now this, is my favorite room." Amy says as she opens her door and I see a balcony with lights hanging off the ledge. "This isn't a room." I say as we step on the balcony and look over the ledge to see the backyard and I almost gasped. I knew it was beautiful down there but looking at it from a sky view really changed it up. "It really looks like a fairly tale." I whisper as Amy joins me. "How I see it, the world is like another room in our giant house, and this is my favorite room. Plus." she says as she points and I follower her finger to see Jack and Emma on the dance floor. I could tell Jack was happy as he picked up his little sister and spines her around.

"I got to see my children grow up in this garden, and I saw Jack make this garden his own." I hear Amy say as she places her hand on my shoulder but I just kept watching the siblings dance making my heart flutter. "Why don't I get us another drink?" Amy says as she starts to walk off making me look at her. "Wait.. I haven't finished my drink and Jack said..." "Oh nothing is going to happen, Jack is just a worry wart. I'll be back in two shakes and I want that drink gone when I get back." She says as she points at my drink and gives me wink before she disappears leaving me alone.

I sigh and take a long drink and just people watched, my world has changed so much since I started to work for Jack. Was he really changing because of me or was that just me hoping he was? I look up at the sky to see the moon finally coming out from behind some clouds making the backyard shine more. "I could get use to this." I say out loud as I hear footsteps behind me. I turn with a smile only to feel it drop when I saw that it wasn't Amy walking back but a boy with slick back blonde hair and pricing green eyes. "Well what are you doing up here?" The boy ask he starts to walk to me. "I'm... I'm waiting for Miss. Fujitsu." I say holding my ground. I see the boy is holding a drink in his hand something to do with ice maybe a whiskey. "So... Who are you to the Fujitsu family?" The boy ask as he takes a drink. What do I say? Do I say that I'm Jack's date or a friend, his worker? What do I say!?

"I'm... Umm..." I say and start to rub my arm. The boy raises an eyebrow, "Are you a party crasher? How exciting." The boy says as he steps closer to me making me step back into the railing. "I'm not, I was invited by..." The boy steps close again and we're only inches a part now. "By?" The boy ask and I can feel attack start to happened, I felt like when Hans' and his brother did to me. But I tried not to show it as I start to reach into my purse for my medicine when the boy grabs my hand. "What are you reaching huh? I'm not going to hurt you." The boy says tightening his grip making me wince.

"You are hurting me, let go." I say as I pull my arm but he won't go making me gasp for air trying not to let that happen. "Oh, am I making you nervous?" The boy pulls me close making me put my free hand on his chest, "Who are you with?" The boy hiss making me whimper a little. "Leave her alone Roxas." I hear making the boy I'm guessing is Roxas turn his head and I look past him to see Jack standing in the doorway looking pissed.

I feel Roxas look back at me before he huffs and lets me go. "Elsa, come here." Jack ordered and I didn't hesitate to run to him and go behind him. "Are you hurt?" I hear Jack whisper to me making me shake my head but I was shaking and holding my breath. "I was just talking to her cuz." Roxas hiss as he moves his fingers through his hair. "It didn't look like talking to me. It look like you were harassing her." Jack yelled as I see his hand go into a fist. "Why would I need to harass her Jackson? I mean, who is she to you?" Roxas ask stepping to us.

Jack didn't say anything he just kept glaring at Roxas until I see his eyes widen, "Ah, so you like her? You like a little girl who is playing dress up huh?" Roxas laugh as he points his finger at us, "Why my father gave you his half of the company I'll never understand." I was so confused on what was happening or why this man was coming after me, or even after Jack. "You know why uncle gave me his half..." "No! half of this company belongs to me! And you... You took my share you son of a bitch!" Roxas yells making me jump a little as I gasp for air remember I can get my medicine now. I reach into my purse and quickly taking a pill praying it'll work fast.

"Uncle didn't believe you were ready, I stepped up when he got sick." Jack said as he steps up to Roxas, he was so calm and collected unlike his cousin who was wild and not in control. "That's a fucken lie and you know it!" Roxas yells as he throws his now empty glass at Jack but his aim was off and hit the side of the house, Jack didn't even flinch. "I think it's time you leave Roxas." I hear behind me to see Amy holding two drinks glaring at Roxas.

"Aunt Amy... It's not..." "No I think it is, now get out of my house and leave my son alone!" Amy yells. I look back at Roxas who didn't look surprised at all at what Amy said as he starts to walk by Jack. He stops right next to him, "By the way, Birdie is back in town. And she is looking mighty fine." Roxas says with a smirks before he walks by me, "And I'll see you again, Elsa." he smirks before walks by Amy not even looking at her.

It was silent for a while before Amy looks at us, "Elsa I am so sorry honey, I didn't know Roxas was here and..." "Mother." Jack interrupts. "I need to talk to Elsa alone. Please." Jack says making Amy look shock at first but then gives a smile smile and nods, "Of course, join us when you're ready." She says before she leaves the room and that's when I collapse to the ground my breathing coming rapidly.

"Elsa, hey." Jack says as he joins me and holds me, "I.. don't... Understand... I took... the pill." I say out of breath. "You've been drinking, the medicine won't work while you're drinking stupid." Jack said making me laugh even though it hurt. It felt like a giant rock was on my chest. "You need to breath Elsa." Jack say as he makes me look at him. He places his forehead on mine and grabs my hand, placing it on his heart and then placing his hand on my heart. "You feel my heart?" He ask making me nod. "It's beating slow and steady, your breathing is to fast and out of control." I feel Jack's chest move up as he takes a deep breath. "Copy my actions." Jack says as he takes a deep breath.

I copy him and take a deep breath, and with every breath I took, it became easier to breath again and I could feel my heart start to go back to normal. "There she is." Jack says as he smiles making me smile. "Thank you." I whisper making him smile, "I'm sorry you had to go through that but I have to ask... Can we just tonight, forget about it." Jack ask and I knew why he wanted to not talk about it, he didn't want to wreck Emma's birthday and I don't either. "I agree, I don't want to wreck Emma's party but Jack." I say as he helps me up and turns me around to look at my dress making me giggle.

"Sorry, I just wanted to make sure you're dress isn't torn but you still look beautiful." He says making me blush, "You're trying to distract me." I say. "Is it working?" He ask making me giggle but shake my head, "Tonight, we are going to forget about what happened, but tomorrow when I come to work, we are going to talk about this. Deal?" I say as I take my hand out making Jack look at it before he takes it and pulls me kissing me lightly on the lips making me gasp and pull back. "Deal. Now lets go back to the party." He says and he start to pull me as I put my free hand on my lip,

Hey guys! So I wrote a really long chapter because I've been so busy and having a little bit of writers block but I'm hoping to be back now! I really hope you guys are enjoying this story, I'm having so much fun writing it and fingers crossed that my writers block is over with!
