Chapter 3: Call me Master Frost

Oh my god my head hurts. I thought as I slowly open my eyes feeling like I just had a hang over going on in my head. When my eyes fully open, I saw that I wasn't in my room, I wasn't home. Where the hell am I? That was the first thing I thought as I looked around to see that I was in a room with white walls and two beds. I start to move the blankets off of me when I feel something tug on my arm. I look to see I had an IV in my arm, shit I was in the hospital! "What the hell?" I say.." "You're awake." I hear as I turn to see Jack walking in with two cups in his hands. "I grabbed you some green tea." He says as he places the cup on the table and sat on the bed next to me.

"Jack? What happened?" I ask as he took a drink of whatever he was drinking. "Well that depends, what do you remember?" He ask making me sigh, I told him I remember Hans and his brothers trying to take me somewhere and then he showed up. Jack just nodded, "So you remember pretty much everything, good." "Right but what am I doing here?" I ask. "What do you mean? Elsa, you passed out. You were barely breathing, what did you want me to do?" He ask his voice shaking a little.

"I was fine! I just needed some water and to relax... I didn't need to go to the hospital." Damn me and my stubbornness, I knew I needed to be here. That attack was worse then any of the ones I had before. I see Jack laugh as he moves his fingers through his hair again, "Right. You didn't need a doctor." I see him stand up and start to walk off, "Well then I'll tell them to let you go." Jack say making my heart hurt. "Wait!" I say as I grab his hand making him stop. "I'm sorry okay? Hospitals... They scare me. I don't like being in them. I had a anxiety attack, they happen every now and then." I spill out, I didn't mean to tell him that much, but my mouth has a mind of it's own.

I pull Jack back so he'll sit out he bed again, he listens and does. "An anxiety attack? I never thought you'd be one of those people." He says making me smile, "I'm not perfect." I joke but his face was serious, "Maybe not to you, but to others you are." He says making me confused, what dose that mean? I was going to ask when I see the door open again and I feel my heart drop. "Mom?" I say as I see my mother walk in holding a clipboard. Her strawberry blonde hair was in a tight bun and she looked tired. "Oh Elsa." My mom said as she puts her clipboard down and gave me a big hug. "I saw your name on the chart before I got the call, are you alright?"

I look at Jack as I kept holding her, 'please.' I mouth hoping he knows what I mean. I see Jack nod as he stands up, "I'll be outside." He says as he starts to walk out and closet the door quietly behind him. "Who was that?" My mother ask as we pull away from each other. "Just a boy from school." I say as she takes my hand, "His very handsome." My mother says making my cheeks get red, "Please mom, no." I hear her laugh making me smile, she was always the one who could see the good in the world, even what happened to my father.

"Elsa, what happened?" She ask making me take a deep breath, she can't know. "I was taking the trash out and slipped on some water or something and totally fell knocking myself out. I guess Jack found me and took me here." I say praying she'll believe me. I'm watching her eyes, eyes will tell you everything about a person, weathering they are lie, hiding something or if you can trust them. And my mother's eyes were very easy to read, just like an open book. Finally she sighs, "You're just a klutzes like your sister."

I gasp, "I take defense to that!" I say making her laugh as she hugs me again. "Let me go talk to records so we can get the payments settled. Drink your tea." Mom says before she leaves letting Jack back in. I place my head in my hands, I'm so screwed. "So what did you tell her?" He ask as he sat back down. "I told her I fell and hit my head, knocking myself out. That you found me. She's talking to records now, god this is the worse." I'm going to have to get a second job to pay for this bill. My mother will most likely take more shifts.

"Hey what are you stressing about?" Jack ask as I feel him take my hands into his. "You know I can't play for this. The bill is going to be so expensive." I say making him nod, "Yeah I remember you telling me about your bills, but..." I heard a knock on the door making Jack stop talking, why is everyone interrupting us today? I see my mother walk in again with a weird look on her face, "Mother?" I ask making me look at me, "Your... Bills are paid for." She says making my eyes widen, my mom may work here but they wouldn't just pay for her child's medical bills. "What?" I ask making her shrug, "I don't know. I don't know who paid for them either."

That's when she notice Jack in the room. "Oh I am so sorry. I'm Moon Rosie." My mother said as she shakes Jack's hand, "Shimo Jack" Jack says as he lets go, "I go to school with Moon-Chan." As he turns back to me, he was hiding something, I see it in his eyes. "Ah so I see, well I talk to the doctor, he said you are free to go and I can get you unhooked. I can drive you home in a few minutes when I go on break." I was going to tell her not to worry that I would call a cab but Jack stands and bows, "Moon-San, if you don't mind, I'll be honored to take your daughter home. To make sure she makes it home safely." He says making my mother look at me.

I was just as shocked as her, what is he planning? My mother looks back at Jack and smiles, "Arigato Shimo-San." My mother says as she bows back making me almost drop my jaw, she was really going to let me go home with a stranger? As she straightens up, she walks over to me and kisses me on the cheek before she goes to my ear, "Are you going to visit your father?" I didn't even think about it, I look at Jack who is looking at me. Was I ready for him to see my father? No, I wasn't. I shake my head, "No today mama, but I will soon." I say with a smile as she gives me a weak one back before she turns back to Jack and says her goodbyes, telling me she'll see me late tonight and that she loves me.

I waited a few minutes after she is gone before I take a deep breath, "Did you have something to do with the bills?" I ask not making eye contact with him. "Get changed, we'll talk in the car." I hear him say making me look at him but his back was turned to me and he was already out the door.

It didn't take me long to get changed and walk out of my room with Jack next to me. We walked in silents, he didn't want to say anything to me even though I had a million questions running through my head. I also so saw people whispering around us, what was going on? Did they know something I didn't? As we reach the exit, Jack opens the door for me and I see a long black limo out front. I freeze as I see Jack walk over to it as the driver holds the door open for him. He turns back to me and smiles, "Well?" He ask making me shake my head, I had to be dreaming.

"You're kidding right?" I ask as I start to walk to him as he shakes his head, "Not a joke, please get in." He says as he takes the door job from the driver so he can get back in the driver seat. I get into the car but before he can join me I look at him, "Who are you Jack Frost?" I ask. I see a dark smile go on his face, "You're not the only one with secrets." He says as he joins me making me go into the corner of the limo. "Home Master Shimo?" The driver ask making nod, "No Shan, we're taking Moon-Chan home." Jack turns to me, "Address?" He ask making me wonder if I should just lie and tell him a house close by and walk home. But I knew he'd know I was lying. So I gave in and told him my address. "And take the long way, Moon-Chan and I have a lot to talk about." Jack adds as I see Shan nod his head before he rolls up the back window so it was just Jack and I.

"Master Shimo?" I ask making Jack look at me, he almost looked older to me seeing him like this. "Elsa, I am giving you three chances to answer me anything, and I mean anything and I'll tell you the truth. You want to know the real me, then ask me. But you must promise to keep what I tell you in this limo. Just like you, I also have a reputation to keep." What have I gotten myself into? Jack almost looked like a different person then the boy I had dinner with last night. He looked like the man who was going to kick Hans' ass. But I won't lie, I was curious to see what he was going to say.

"Fine, I'll play your game. First question, who are you?" I ask as Jack lends back with a smile, "My name is Jackson Lee Shimo or Frost in English. My father is from here in Japan, he meet my mother who is an American who was in the Air Force for six years before she got out and married my father. My mother's maiden name is Frost, she changed it to Shimo-Fujita when she married my father who last name is..." I feel my eyes widen, Fujita... His father's last name is Fujita. "Holy shit. You're Haru Fujita's son... the man who made Fujita games." I say feeling myself go dumb. Fujita Games is world famous, they made to many games that lost count and Haru Fujita was the man who started it all. He even was the first to sell online VR games. His one of the riches mens on Earth, I didn't know he had a son.

Jack nods, "Yes, I'm Jack Shimo-Fujita. I changed it to my mother's maiden name so then people would be friends with me and not my money. And people don't know I'm rich and I try not to show it which is why I go to our school, people it's just in the middle." This can't be happening, I was talking to Haru Fujita's son! And I was in his limo! Holy shit! But even knowing this, I didn't see Jack differently, he still had those ocean blue eyes with some grey in them now and he was still annoying as hell and a heartbreaker.

"Okay so you're rich, which means..." No way, he didn't. "I think I know what your next question is Elsa, so just ask." Jack ask as I feel him move closer, this can't be happening. "Did... Did you pay for my medical bills?" I ask not looking at him. "I did. I also got you these." He says as he hands me a bag making me quickly open it to see pills for anxiety. "It's to help with your attacks." He says making my hands shake, he was doing to much for me and no one is this nice. I put the pills back in the bag. I had one more question left to ask and it was the question i was scare to ask.

"What do you want with me?" I ask as I feel Jack touch my knee making me look at him. His eyes were bagging for something but they were also looking sad. "I want you to quit your job, and I want you to work for me." He says making me raise an eyebrow, "What? Work for you what are you talking about?" I ask confused, who dose he think I am? "I can double your pay, triple it if you'd like but the job I want you to be is my own personal maid." I feel my eyes widen, his kidding right? "You're kidding right?" Making my thoughts into words.

I watch as Jack shakes his head, "I'm not. This is going to sound selfish but, I don't like other guys looking at you like that. And what Hans and his brothers almost did." I feel Jack's hand go into a fist, he was really getting upset. "I could of bashed their heads in for just touching you." He says making me grab his hand trying to calm him down. "Whoa, calm down. I'm fine. You told them off, they aren't going to bother me again." I say making him relax a little. "But Jack, I can't take your offer." I say making him laugh a little, "See, I thought you'd say that, I was just hoping you wouldn't so I wouldn't have to pull out the big guns."

He looks at me, his eyes darken but not in a evil way, I wasn't scared of what he was going to say, it was almost like he was scared of what he was going to say. "Elsa Moon, you owe me and you know you do. So by this time tomorrow, you will be done working at Cafe Maid and will be working at my house, being my maid." I see him lower his head to mine, our eyes locked, "Do we have a deal?" He ask as he raises his hand. I look at his hand and then back at him. I hate to admit it but he was right, he paid my bills, he saved me from Hans and his brothers. And from his eyes, he wasn't doing it to get a maid for his house, he was doing it because he I didn't take charity.

I sigh before I grab his hand and shake it, "Fine, as of tomorrow, I'll be your maid, but only until I repay you for my medical bills." I say making him nod, "Deal and like I said, I'll double it." I won't lie that extra cash will come in handy for my family. Maybe I judge Jack to early.

As we reach my house, I was embarrassed to have Jack look at it knowing where he most likely lived in. But it was to late before I see the door open and Shan opens the door and Jack steps out, me following him. "Wow." He says as he starts to walk up to my house, and I see that he was holding another bag. "Wait Jack!" I say as I chase after him finally catching up to him. Our house wasn't the pretties or the biggest but it was our home. A three bedroom with two bathrooms and a small kitchen connected to the living room.
"What's wrong?" Jack ask as we stop at the door. "It's... umm... My house is a mess, you know. I bet Anna didn't clean it while I was in the hospital." I say trying to make him not go into my house. I see Jack smile, "You're cute." He says making me freeze, what was that? "Why would you say that!?" I yell making him laugh, "You are the easiest person to tease, did anyone tell you that?" He ask making me glare at him, "You are just the worse." I hiss. "Now now Elsa, is that how you talk to your boss?" Jack ask wiggling his eyebrow.

Oh he is really having fun teasing me huh? Well two can play that game. I step close and I can see Jack's body start to stiff up a little. "Oh Jackson." I say as I place my hand on his chest and get up on my tiptoes. "Wha... What are you doing?" He stuttered, this was so much fun watching him squirm. I kept myself up as our lips were close together, "You're not the boss of me... yet." I whisper before I lowers myself down and step back waiting to see his expression. If he was feeling anything, he wasn't showing it.

Actually, he wasn't showing anything expression at all. "Did you really think you could get to me Elsa?" Jack ask raising an eyebrow. Really? That didn't work? I huff before I shrug, "I thought I'd try." I say as Jack steps close to me, "You'll have to try harder dearie. Oh and one more thing." Jack says as he puts his index finger under my chin and place his thumb on top holding my face, "Call me Master Frost." Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. I keep thinking before he let go of me with a laugh and step back. "That is how you tease Elsa." He says as he hands the bag to me. I glared at him before I grab the bag, he is such a dick. "What is this?" I ask. "This, is your old uniform. I'll have a new uniform for you tomorrow." Jack says as he starts to walk away. "I'll have a car pick you up at six tomorrow." Wait... Did he say six!?

"Wait! Six!? As in six in the morning!?" I yell as Jack gets to the car. He was halfway in the car before he turned his head to me and gave me that smile that made my skin crawl in a way I couldn't explain. "I'll have coffee for you. See you tomorrow Moon-Chan." Jack says as he close the door and drives me. I slam my foot on the ground, "Damn you Frost!" I yell as I open my house door and walk in, not excited for tomorrow.
