Chapter 14: My Heart I Surrender

    It was nice to be at Jack's house just relaxing and watching a movie. Tonight we decided to watch IT which I don't know how I let him talk me into watching that movie. "You understand kids die in this movie right?" I ask as I grab the popcorn out of the microwave. "Now now Elsa, it's just a movie about an evil clown that eat children." Jack answers as he puts the movie in the DVD player and sits on the couch with a blanket and two cokes on the table. "You just made it worse." I said as I put the popcorn on the table and sit down. Jack moves closer to me, "Hey, if you get scared, I'm right here. I'll protect you." He says as he puts his arm around me pulling me in as he starts the movie.

    I should move away, because I don't understand why his even sitting this close to me. "How's that crush of your doing?" I ask with a little smile. "It might be getting out of control." Jack says making me lay on my head on his chest, "Any new feelings bubbling in you?" I ask trying not to sound like I had new feelings for him. "New feelings? I told you Elsa, I won't fall in love with you." He says hurting my heart a little but I don't say anything. "Are you falling in love with me?" I hear him ask and I tried not to move a muscle or anything.

    "Please Frost, you're still a pain in the ass." I lie I can't tell him I'm in love with him. "I just want to make sure. We need to keep this relationship to stay professional." Jack says as we watch the movie. The opening scene already had me in Jack's arms scared out of my mind. "You are such a jerk making me watch this." I say with a yelp form another jump scare. I hear Jack start to laugh a little as he rubs my back, "Hush love, you'll be just fine." He says as I feel him kiss the top of my head. "You don't have to do that, we're alone." I say feeling my cheeks get red. "I know we are. I wanted to do that." He says making me squeeze my fist, it's hard being like this and not kissing him.

    The more we watch the movie, and the more I got scared, the more I was holding onto Jack. Even after the movie I wouldn't leave his side. "Just admit you liked the movie." Jack says as we go into his bed. He starts to take off his shirt and get into bed while I walk out of the bathroom wearing my nightgown. "It was a good movie, it was just scary." I say as I put my head on his chest again and he wraps his arms around me. "For an Ice Queen, you get scared fast." He says with a laugh making me glare at him, "You are the biggest ass in the whole world." I say only to make him laugh again as he holds me close. "Shh... go to sleep, I won't let anything happen to you." He says as I close my eyes, I need my sleep. Tomorrow was going to be hell.

    I was standing by the Koi Pond in Jack's back yard again, just watching the fishes swim until I hear a noise behind me. As I turn I see a pair of hands go around my neck pushing me to the ground my hair touching the water. "I need you to stay close to my cousin because once his distracted, I can come in..." I hear a voice say as I look up to see Roxas pinning me down. I wanted to scream, or push him away but he was just to strong. "For the kill." Roxas yells as he puts my head in the water and I struggle to get some air, slowly dying without telling Jack how I feel... To warn him.

    I woke up with a start, breathing fast and feeling my whole body shake. "Elsa?" I hear next to me to see Jack starting to wake up. "Jack..." I say quickly wiping the tears from eyes not even knowing I was crying. "I didn't mean to wake you, please go back to sleep." I say. "What's the matter dearie?" He ask sitting up with me. "I... I had a nightmare." I say my voice shaking. "It was just a bad dream. Maybe because of that movie, I'm sorry Elsa." Jack says but it wasn't the movie... It was something else. "I don't think it was the movie Jack, it felt like it was really happening, like it has happen." I say trying to figure out how that is true.

    "What happened in your dream?" Jack ask I didn't know if I wanted to tell him or not. Rule five was coming to my mind and I knew I had to tell him. I tell him everything, "I feel like I need to warn you about something... I just don't know what it is." I say as I start holding my knees and having him rub my back. "You sound like you're worried about me." He says making me roll my eyes, "Jack you make me roll my eyes anymore, they'll roll out of my head." I say making him laugh as I feel the fun hit my skin. Was it really morning already?

    "Another long night." Jack says as he gets out of the bed and stretches. I just sat there watching him, I was still not use to him not wearing a shirt, it's so hard to not look at him though. "What are we doing before the party?" He ask turning his head looking at me making me look away from him and get out of bed. "I'll get ready and make us some breakfast before I start cleaning and everything." I say as I go to the bathroom to brush my teeth and put my hair up. "What do you have plan?" I ask as I start to brush my teeth. "I have fencing in about an hour and then do some paperwork for my father."

    That boy never stops working. "You won't work tonight right?" I ask as I look out of the doorway. I see him put his shirt on and shook his head, "No, I promise no work tonight. Tonight I'm all yours." He says with that rare smile making me smile back, "Good. Now go make us some coffee so I can change." I say as I go back in the bathroom to see my damn uniform looking at me. I sigh as I grab it and change, damn this uniform.

    I was making lunch after Jack was done fencing and was now in the shower. Half of me was thinking of pouring cold water on him as payback for looking at me in the shower but I feel like I'd get a nose bleed if I saw him anymore naked then I already have. I kept making lunch as I hear the door open and see Angel walk in. "Angel, I didn't know you were coming by." I say as I wipe my hands off and go see him. I see look me up and down, "You two are into some really weird fetishes." He says making me confused until I remember what I was wearing. I put the towel over my chest and looked at the ground, "It's not like that... It's my work uniform." I say quietly.

    "You still work for Jack even though you're engaged? Interesting." Angle says as he walks past me and sits at the table. He points at the chair next to him, "Take a sit beautiful, we need to talk." He says making me nervous as I sit down. "What do we need to talk about?" I ask as he puts his elbows on the table just staring at me. "Now Moon-Chan, tell me the truth, are you really engaged to Fujita-San?" I wasn't ready for him to ask me that. "Of... Course. I mean..." I pull my necklace out and show him the ring. "He gave me this ring." I say as he looks at the ring.

    "Jesus... He gave you Amy's ring." He says lending back, "What the hell has gotten in that boy?" He ask making me raise an eyebrow, "What do you mean? Do you know what the meaning is behind this ring?" I ask as Angel gets up and walk to the fridge and takes out a soda. "I do. But form your reacting, I'm guessing you don't." He says making me shake my head, "He won't tell me." I sigh as he walks back over to me. "Jack is a very... secretive man. He put up a lot of walls to protect his family and he makes codes out of everything. Everything in his life is a puzzle, but there is one piece missing form his puzzle that he won't tell anyone. Not even me." He says. I knew that Jack had secrets, I knew he was hiding things from me, but even from Angel, was he really that scared he was going to get hurt or was he worried he was the one that was going to hurt someone?

    "Do you think he'll ever tell me his secrets? Or will I always be in the dark?" I ask making him shrugs, "I really wish I could tell you sweet but I just don't know. But I will tell you this, Jack hasn't been this happy in a long time and it's because of you. So wither this engagement is real or not, just kept doing what you're doing and keep him happy." Angel says grabbing my hand, "That's all I ask." He pats my hand making me place my hand on top of his and nod, "I'll do my best." I say.

    "Do you best at what?" I hear behind me turning to see Jack in the doorway wearing his glasses, a lazy t-shirt and some sweats, his hair was still wet and he looked damn sexy. "She'll try her best not to get drunk tonight." Angel said making me hit his arm, "His kidding." I say as I stand and go over to Jack and kiss him on the cheek, "Good shower?" I ask trying to change the subject as I go back to the stove to see that the soup was ready. "Umm, yes it was. Is lunch ready?" He ask as he sits at the table. "It is. Angle will you be joining us?" I ask. "That would be lovely, I have a few hours to kill before your make-up crew get here to get you all ready for tonight. You two are going to knock them dead." Angle says making me giggle as I give him a bowl of soup and same with Jack.

    "We'll drain the life out of them." I say making Jack roll his eyes. "You two need to stop. I should of never let you two meet." He says as I look at Angel who gave me a wink making me smile as I started to eat, maybe tonight won't be so bad.

    "Sweetheart you have to look up." "No she needs to sit still." I hear from two different people yell at me. Who knew getting my hair and make-up done was so difficult. "Do you guys have to do this at the same time?" I ask as one of the girls pulls my lip to put lipstick on them. "Yes." They say together as I feel my hair get pulled making me wince. I've been sitting for almost two hours now, and it was killing my ass. I didn't even get the names of the two people working on me. They just walked in and started to go to work on me. Jack was lucky, he didn't have to deal with this.

     And speck of the devil, I look at the doorway to see Jack starring at me as he was ready to go for tonight. He was even better looking as a steampunk vampire then he was as a human. He was wearing black jeans with a tight red undershirt that was covered by a black jacket that had red mixed in with gears mixed in the design. His hair was slick back but he put a gear mixed top hat that really made him look sexy.

    "So, are you drawn to me?" He ask showing off his fangs making me want to fan girl alittle, I love vampires and a steampunk one is like a dream come true. But I had to play it cool, "I mean I guess I could be." I say as I feel a gear go on my eye, I hope I was almost done. I see Jack laugh as he walks past me into the kitchen. "You can't see her until she's in her dress." Angel yells as he pushes Jack out of the kitchen and back into his room. But Jack takes one more look at me before he closes his door, I'm guessing to finish his paperwork.

    "Are we almost done Angle?" I ask feeling numbness in my ass. "Yes my dear, just go put on your dress so we can finish your bite mark and then you are done." He says as he helps me up and helps me put on the dress. I forgot how much I loved this dress, it fit like a glove. As the make-up artist finish up my neck, the hairdresser put a few more curls in my hair. "Already, she's done." The hairdresser said as she and the make-up artiest backed away from me. I look at Angel who is smile, "Oh Jack, I think you need to see your victim." Angle yells as he hands me a red and black fan.

    I wait as I see his door opens and Jack looks at me. I see his eyes widen as I hold the small fan in my hand, a little nervous on how he will take it since I haven't even looked at myself yet. "So?" I ask with a chuckle. "Wow..." Jack says as he steps closer to me making me nervous again. "You might not be drawn to me but I'm sure as hell drawn to you." Jack says making me feel warm all over as I open my fan and start to fan myself, "My my Jack, you do have a way with words." I say with a laugh but he wasn't laughing which I didn't know how to take. I stopped fanning myself as Angle step close to us, "How about a picture you two." He says holding a camera making me look back at Jack.

    "For memories?" I ask making him nod as he told me and dipped me. "Jack..." I say but I stop as he starts to lower himself to my neck and I lend back a little, half of me want him to kiss me as he looks like he was biting me. I could feel his fake teeth on my skin making me shiver. I see the camera shutter as Angel took the picture. "Perfect you two. I'll get this printed for you." He say as Jack pulls me back up but keeps his hand on my waist. "We should get going, we are already late." Jack says as he starts to push me to the door. "Wait." I say as we stop and a look at the mirror by us.

    I couldn't believe that I was looking at myself in the mirror. I had three gears by my left eye, and my hair was in a half bun and half down with curls everywhere. "Are you ready to go?" Jack ask as I look back at him, he was still giving me the same look as before when he saw me. I nod, "Yeah, lets go." I say as I look back behind me to see Angel give me a thumbs up as a good luck, I'm going to need it.

    "Pick us up at midnight." Jack tells Riku as he helps me out of the limo. "Yes sir." Riku says as Jack closes the door and we watch the limo drive off. I take a deep breath as I look at the house, it wasn't as big as Jack's but it was still big. "Do we have to do this?" I ask as Jack takes my hand, "I wish we didn't have too either but... You look to beautiful to not show off." Jack says making me blush as I smack his arm "Charmer." I say making him laugh a little as he walk up the stairs and into the big house. There were people everywhere wearing costumes of all different kind.

    But everyone stopped what they were doing the minute Jack and I walked in. I hold onto Jack's hand tighter as we walked in, Jack was good at this kind of stuff as he said hello to people he knew and introducing me as his girlfriend which was nice to hear. We started to make our way outside to see a stage set up with people dancing on it. "Jackie!" I hear as we turn to see Birdie come up to us wearing a very expensive looking butterfly costume. She gave Jack a big hug almost trying to push me away but Jack wouldn't let go of my had. "Oh I knew you'd make it." She says as she finally looks at me.

    "Oh Moon-San, you made it too. Love the dress." She hisses. "Thanks Lou-San, do your wings actually work? Can they make you fly away?" I ask as Jack pinched my hand but I didn't care, this bitch needed to be put in her place. I hear Birdie start to laugh as she looks back at Jack, "Such a kidder." But Jack and I didn't laugh, we just kept looking at her. "You know, Roxas should be around here somewhere." Birdie said as she starts to look around, "Ah, there he is." She says and points making me look to see Roxas by the food court talking to a girl dressed up like a cat.

    Roxas however was dressed up like Daryl from the Walking Dead which I can't lie, he looked good and he was dressed up like my favorite character... The bastard. "Do you want me to call him over so you can say hi?" Birdie ask. "No!" Jack and I said the same time as I look at him who was just looking at Birdie, I guess I can't blame him... She did look beautiful, more beautiful then me. "Fine fine, oh I have a surprise for you Jackie." Birdie said touching his arm, "I hired a hypnotist for tonight." She says making me confused, a hypnotist?

    "Really? And how is that a surprise?" I ask as I look at Jack who was just blank face but I could tell in his eyes, he was almost scared. "Oh Jack didn't tell you? He likes to lose control, to be free, right Jack?" She ask as I feel his hand tighten mine. "Birdie... It was one time..." Jack whisper making me wonder what he was talking about. "Oh come on Jack, I promise he won't do anything to you. I mean nothing you don't want to do." She says making me glare, she was trying to manipulate him and I think it was working.

    "Jack, I think you should do it." I say making him look at me like I was crazy, which maybe I was. I feel Jack turn me so I'm facing him and pull me away form Birdie, "Elsa.... I don't think you understand. This is one of my walls, something I wasn't ready to tell you or show you." He starts before I grab his face, "Hey, nothing will happen, it's okay. He just going to make you look like an ass which won't be hard because you're already are one." I say making him smile a little with a laugh. He turns back and Birdie, "Okay, when dose it start?" He ask making Birdie smile a smile that kind of makes me wish I didn't agree to this.

    "In about five minutes so we should go get our sits and Jack, go ahead and go on the stage." Birdie said as she starts to walk off as Jack and I head to the stage. We stop about the second row from the stage, "Hey you sit here so I can see you. Please." Jack ask as I sit down, "Okay, I'll be right here." I say making him smile as he kisses my forehead, "Don't worry, everything will be fine." I remind him making him nod as he go on stage leaving me alone.

    I look around me to see people starting to take sits as I see something catch my eye. It was Birdie and Roxas talking to a guy wearing a blue jacket and a bow tie. I raise an eyebrow as Birdie hands the man some money before she and Roxas walk away and the man walks on stage. "Hello everyone! I am the Amazing Brad, and I'll be your hypnotist for the evening." I feel my eyes widen as I look back at Birdie who is looking at me with a evil smile on her face. I look back on stage as Brad was talking to Jack telling him to relax. Birdie was going to hurt Jack... She was going to do something to wreck this relationship... she knew what happens when he loosens up, I don't... Shit.

    I watch as Jack's head starts to sink down the deeper he goes under. There was nothing I could do no without making a scene and that would just make it worse on Jack. "Now Jack, when I snap my fingers, you'll be fully under. Ready?" Brad ask as he snaps his fingers and I see Jack's head fully fall. "Now Jack, right now you are tied to your chair, you can't get out, you can't move your arms or legs and you don't see anyone, it's just you and me. And in my hand, I have a beautiful little drug that makes you tell the truth no matter what." Brad said making people laugh as he he dose a finger gun making it seem like a needle.

    "Shall we begin?" Brad ask making everyone cheer but it just made my heart beat faster with fear. "The minute you feel the needle hit your arm Jack, you will wake up and answer all my questions. Do you under?" Brad ask Jack. "Yes..." Jack said quietly as Brad put his finger on Jack making him wake up and look at Brad. "What's happening?" Jack ask as he tried to move his arm and leg. "Calm down Jack, I just need to ask you a few questions." Brad says but it just looked like Jack was more worried. "Now, for some easy questions, what's your name?" Brad ask. "Fujita Jack." Jack says surprised that he used his real name, he almost looked scared and it killed me.

    "But what name do you go by?" Brad asked, "Shimo or Frost..." Jack answered confused why he was answer all these questions. I couldn't take it anymore as I stand and walk over to Birdie who was laughing with Roxas. "Make this stop." I say to her making her look at me. "Oh come now Elsa, it's just a little fun." Birdie said. "You know damn well this isn't fun for him. You are making him say things that he dosn't want to say. Now make it stop!" I say raising my voice. Birdie stands, "Look here, Jack should be with me, and I'm just showing you who he really should be with. And there is nothing you can do about it." She says.

    I look back at Jack, he still looked so scared as Brad kept asking him the simple questions, and as much as I wanted it to be a lie... Birdie was right... There wasn't anything I could do. "I would just go back to your sit Elsa." I hear Roxas says as I look back at him and Birdie. I glare at them, "You're plan won't work. Jack loves me now and you'll see it tonight." I lie, I lied hard and I think she knew it. "We'll see Moon-San. We'll see." She says with that evil smile as I turn back and walk back to my sit.

    "Now Jack, is there someone here you like?" Brad ask Jack, I could tell Jack was trying to fight it but his head started to nod, "Yes..." He hissed. "Ah, really now. Now this is getting good." Brad said making Jack struggle, "You leave her out of this!" Jack yelled making people laugh. "Oh I'm not bring her in this. I just have questions. Jack, what do you like about this girl?" Brad ask as I feel my hand going into a fist. "She's beautiful, smart, sexy as hell, everything about her is perfect. Everything about her makes me love her." Jack says as I feel my heart stopped... I look over at Birdie who is look at me still smiling we both know who he was talking about.

    This whole thing between Jack and I was going to end tonight, I was going to lose Jack because I made him go up there. This is all my fault. "Oh, you love her? How long have you know this girl?" Brad ask. "Long enough to know how I feel for her." Jack hissed getting upset with Brad. His anger was just making people laugh and also made Brad laugh. "Well, is there anything you want to do to her?" Brad ask making the crowd 'oo'. I see Jack's cheeks get red as he opens his mouth to speak. "I want to kiss her. So badly." He says making the crowd cheer louder. "Anything else Jack?" Brad ask making Jack look away his face extra red now. "I want to make lo...." "Whoa Jack keep it PG now." Brad said making everyone laugh but it was just killing me inside.

    I could almost feel tears come to my eyes hearing him say this about someone who could kill him. "Alright Jack, I think I've had my fun, when I snap my fingers I want you to fall back into the deep." Brad said making Jack struggle again, "When I get out of this I'm going to kill...." Jack started to yell right as Brad snapped his fingers making Jack's body go limp. "Well, that was fun, but lets have a little more fun. I want to see who this lucky lady is." Brad said locking eyes with Birdie. I look over at her as she nods her head. I look back on stage as Brad looked back at Jack.

    "Alright Jack, when I snap my fingers, you are going to wake up, but still be in my trance. I want you to go to that woman you love and tell her how you feel, tell her everything you've always wanted to tell her. And then I want you to kiss her with as much passion as you can. When I snap my fingers again, you'll come back on stage. Do you understand?" Brad asked Jack. "Yes." Jack said in monotone and this is how I knew my life was ending. The moment I heard the finger snap I covered my face not wanting to see this.

    Maybe this is a good thing... Jack wouldn't have to act like he likes me or even love me anymore and I could be free. I could work as his maid and hide my feelings from him forever. Or until I pay him back, god this was the worse. Why did I talk him into this? I could feel tears going down my face as I feel someone grab my shoulder making me look up and I feel my eyes widen. In front was Jack, he was just looking at me with his beautiful deep blue eyes looking glazed over but they also almost had a look of lust in them too.

    "Jack?" I whisper as he grabs my hand making me stand. "Elsa, you were so cold when we first meet, you hated me but I will never forget the moment I locked eyes with you and you gave me that small sarcastic smile, I knew that it was game over for me. That I loved you." I could feel my breath get caught in my throat, was this really happening? "You've told me you're broken, but I like that you're broken because it means you're broken like me. And there's been something I've wanted to do for a while now." He says making my heart beat faster as I finally found my voice, "What do you want to do?" I ask my voice shaking.

    That's when I saw it... That rare beautiful smile that makes everything I'm doing seem worth it. "This." He says as he uses his free hand and puts it on the back of my neck, pulling me in as our lips touch. I stood frozen as he kisses me until it finally clicked, Jack likes me... Jack loves me. I close my eyes and kiss him back making him more hunger for me. I feel our tongues start to dance with one another as he pulls back, both of us breathing hard. "I surrender my heart and soul to you Elsa. I love you." Jack says so quietly that only I could hear him. I feel my heart start to beat faster as he kisses me again and I gave in. I didn't want it to end as I hear a finger snap and Jack pull back, going back on stage and I stood there just watching him walk away.

    As Jack sat back down on his chair and Brad made him fall back into his deep trance. He looks at the crowd who I forgot was there. "Well... That was pretty hot and steamy huh?" He said making everyone laugh a little but it just made me blush as I sat back down and look over to see Birdie but she was gone, and so was Roxas.

    "I hope that was his girlfriend." Brad said making everyone laugh again as Brad goes to Jack's ear and starts to whisper something in his ear making Jack nod and say something but I couldn't hear him. Brad stood up straight again and looked at the crowd. "I think that's all I have time for tonight ladies and gentleman. I hope you enjoy the show and to the lucky girl that Jack has chosen." Brad said locking eyes with me as he gave me a smile, "Have fun tonight." He says as he wakes up Jack and made me wonder what he was talking about.

It's midnight here and I have to be up in like 8 hours for my son but I just couldn't stop writing! so it's worth it!
