Chapter 13: Friday the 13th

I couldn't leave... I couldn't go home knowing that Jack was still sick and he was making himself more sick by worrying about work. He never did come back out from his room, and he didn't have his laptop with him so... I did the only thing I could think of to maybe help... Or maybe lose him, I broke into his laptop and did his work. It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be, his password was easy to think of just knowing how much he loved his sister I knew she had something to do with it. And I was right, figuring out that it was her birthday.

After that, I read the email he was working on knowing it was work, his father needed spread sheets sent to him by tomorrow. That took the longest to find since I figured out that he codes everything, I knew Jack was good at hiding stuff but I didn't think he'd go this far, it might be because of Roxas. If Roxas had any of this information, it could ruin Fujita's Games and his company. But once I found the spread sheets, it was easy again, Jack was almost done with it honestly he just needed to added a few more numbers.

I put it in the email and sent it to his father taking a deep breath, god I hope I didn't f*ck up anything. I thought as I hear his computer make a ding noise seeing an email form his father. I took a deep breath as I open it to see three words...

Good Job Son.

I couldn't help but let out a small laugh, I didn't mess it up. I lend back on the couch as I close the laptop and look at my phone to see it was midnight. I had school in less then 8 hours and I wasn't even tried. I look over at Jack's room wondering if he was up too. Not taking the chances to wake him up, I decide to go outside to get some fresh air. I grabbed a blanket and walked out the front to see the lights to the garden on making me happy. I started to walk around admiring the garden at night without people around and it was just as beautiful as I thought it would be.

I found a small bench not to far from Jack's studio and decided to take a break and just take in the night air. The bench was even close to a small Koi Pond with some orange and white koi fish swimming around. I just watched them swim thinking about what will happen on Saturday, will we be even better by then? Or do we have act like everything is back to normal and we love each other? I lend back and look at the night sky. "This is such a mess." I say out loud knowing no one was listening.

Well at less I didn't think anyone was until I heard a noise. I look next to me almost in a panic until I see a pure white peacock start to walk around the pond. I was breathless seeing it start to walk around peaking at the ground. "You must be Juliet huh?" I say as the peacock looked over at me like she understood me. "You know, I never meet albino peacock before, I heard you're pretty rare." I tell Juliet as she starts to lower herself to the ground. "Must be why Jack picked you and why Romeo is your mate." I say lending back again. "I can see why Romeo picked you as his mate I mean... You're beautiful and unique. But... why did Jack pick me to tease and as his girlfriend?" I ask the peacock.

Juliet started to move her head to one of her wings cleaning herself making me laugh, "You're not much of a talker are you?" Knowing for sure I was losing my mind. "But you are a good listener, better then humans are that's for sure." I say. "You know, I'm a good listener too Moon-Chan." I hear behind me making me stand and turn to see Roxas looking at me. He was still dressed like he was out partying all night and how he was swinging his body back and forth, I was thinking he was drunk.

I pull the blanket closer to me, "How long have you been standing there?" I ask as he stumbled over to me. "Long enough to hear you say you're dating my cousin." Roxas says as he places a hand on his heart, "That hurts Elsa... I really thought me and you had a connection." He says as he reaches the bench having it blocking us form each other. "I think you should go sleep off that alcohol going through your body." I say as I look to see if I could maybe make it back to Jack's place before he could get me.
"Did I hurt your feelings love? I am so sorry I didn't invite you to the party, it's just... I never got your number. But we could change that." Roxas says taking a step past the bench making me take a step back. "Don't come any closer Roxas." I say making him raise an eyebrow, "Oh come now Elsa, I'm not going to do anything to you. Honestly, I need you to stay around." He says taking  another step he was past the bench now. "I need you to stay close to my cousin, because once his distracted, I can come in..." Roxas starts to say before he takes a running start at me and before I could even reacted, he had his hand on my shoulders holding me.

I feel him push me back feeling my feet under me start to fall back. I turn my head to see I'm close to the pond. "I can come in for the kill!" Roxas yells pushing me as he lets go and I fall into the pond, I felt the cold water for a few seconds before I feel a pain in my head and everything went black.

I woke up with a shiver and feeling something coming up my throat as I started to cough out water. "Elsa, thank god." I hear as I try to get my eyes to work again, finally everything focused and I see Jack looking at me, a worry look on his face. "Jack? What happened?" I ask as I feel a sharp pain in my head. I reach my hand back to see blood on my fingertips. "You fell into the koi pond, and hit your head. I thought you went home." Jack said as he helps me stand up and puts jacket around me as I feel another shiver. "I fell?" I ask, I don't remember how that happened, how did I fall?

"Let's not worry about that right now, lets get you back into my studio and warm you up." Jack says as we start to walk to his studio. I look behind me seeing the leaves from a bush start to move like something was moving in the garden, it must of been one of the peacocks. I turn back as we reach Jack's studio and tells me to go to the couch. I do as he says and sits down making sure the jacket is on the couch so I don't get it wet. I see Jack come back with some clothes, "Change into these, I'll go get your some tea." He says as I take the clothes, "Jack you don't have to I'm..." "Elsa for once, don't fight me." Jack hisses making me shut up and nod. He nods back and leaves me alone in the living room.

Not evening thinking about changing in his room, I just start to take off my shirt, pants and everything else. I put on the over sized sweatshirt and sweatpants on right as Jack come back with some teas and took my wet clothes. "I'll get these washed later." He says as he throws them in his room. "What the hell were you doing?" He ask almost like he was anger at me. "I went out to get some air... It was late, I was just going to crash on your couch." I said sitting back down. I couldn't look at him right now but I see a towel in my face making me look up to see Jack holding a towel for me. "For you head, let me see it though."

I move as he sits on the couch next to me and starts to look at the back of my head, "Hmm... It's not deep. You shouldn't need to see a doctor, how are you feeling?" He ask as I turn back around to face him as I put the towel on my head. "I really don't remember falling." I say trying to remember what happened. "That can happen, you hit your head hard enough to make you black out, I bet your memories will come back to you later." Jack said looking at his hands, it felt awkward to me.

We sat there for a while not talking or looking at each other. "umm... Are you feeling better?" I ask still not looking at him. "I am... Your tea did wonders to me..." Jack answered making me nod even though I know he can see me. This was killing me... I didn't like not talking to him and being like this. Plus I felt bad about our fight... About me getting emotional and yelling at him. I took a deep breath and look at him but kept my eyes closed. "I'm sorry." I said hearing him say it with me. I open my eyes to see him looking at me. "I shouldn't of yelled at you." I said. "I know we agreed to be honest with each other, I just not ready to tell you that yet. I will though I promise." Jack says to me we were almost talking at the same time.

I couldn't help but laugh making him join me. "What a dumb fight." I say lending back making him lend back but lending back enough to lay his head on my lap. I look down at him seeing him look up at me, "Is this to much?" He ask making me shake my head, "No... I'm actually really comfortable." I say as I start to mess with his hair. "Maybe I really should date you." He says making me roll my eyes, "If this is you asking me out, I'm going with a big hell no." I say making him laugh, "You're saying no to me? That's never happened." I started to laugh as I see the sun start to rise. "Lord is it already morning? What time is it?" I ask pulling out my phone, it was six in the morning.

I sigh and close my eyes, "I think this is the first time ever I don't want to go to school." I say making Jack laugh, "Want to take a half day? Go in at lunch?" He ask. "We can't do that... Can we?" I ask as he stands and grabs his phone, "I mean we can if you're tried." He ask but honestly, I really wasn't... "No, we should go. I already feel bad missing a day yesterday." I say pushing him off my lap. "Fine, would you like to take a shower first?" He ask making me nod, "That would help so much." I say as I start to walk to his room as he pulled his laptop close to him. I didn't want to be around him when he saw that email as I close his bedroom door and went to his bathroom.

Never in my life have I've taken a shower that feels so good, as the hot water hit my body making me sigh with joy. I was starting to feel my toes again after last night. I was still trying to remember what happened, I remember talking to Juliet, but that's it... I woke up in Jack's arms. I move my arms over my chest, Jack... What was he going to say to me when he sees his emails? How upset was he going to be? I was so lost in thought, I didn't even hear the door open until I see the shower curtain move.

I shirked as I see Jack staring at me, "Frost what the actual hell!?" I yell but he just kept his eyes locked on mine, "You finished my spread sheet!? You emailed it to my father!?" He yells, I guess this is what was going to happen. "You couldn't of ask or better yet yelled at me when I was out of the shower?" I asked still covering my chest, it was like he didn't even care that I was wet and naked in the shower. "Elsa... Do you have any idea what you did?" He ask his voice starting to calm down. I didn't say anything, to scared to even talk.

"You... Saved my ass." He says with a laugh "If I didn't get those  spread sheets out to him by this morning, he would of killed me. God I could kiss you right now." Jack said with a smile making me blush and that's when I saw him blush and his eyes widen, "You're in the shower." He says making me nod, "And you're naked..." He says making me nod again before he covers his eyes and looks away, "I am... I didn't... Sorry." He say quickly before he ran out of the bathroom leaving me alone. I put my hand on my head, this shower was just making me hotter, maybe I should take a colder shower now....

I quickly put my hair in a braid and just stood by Jack's door scared to walk out to see him. "This is going to be so awkward." I say to myself as I man up and open the door to see Angel talking with Jack. Angel looks over at me with a big smile on his face, "Well hello sweetheart." He says as he looks back at Jack who won't lock eyes on me but I couldn't locks on him either and Angel noticed. "Did something happened last night? Did you two..." He stopped as he started to pelvic thrusts the air making me squeeze my arms and Jack blush more.

"Jesus Angel..." Jack says looking away from us and walks into he kitchen. I hear Angel laugh, "Well come on now, I heard from your cousin that you two were dating." He says, how did Roxas know about us? I thought... But of course, it had to be Birdie... "News travels fast..." I say as I sit down feeling the ring hit my chest under my uniform. "Which news is it though Elsa? The fact that you're dating or the fact that your engaged?" He ask making my eyes widen, "Who..." "I told my family." Jack said as he finally steps out from hiding. "They had the right to know." He say and of course he was right but now we're laying to his family too... this lie is getting so big now.

"Dose Roxas know?" I ask Jack making him shake his head, "I'm guessing Birdie told him. I just don't know why she didn't tell him we were engaged." He ask making me asking the same question. "Well... I don't need to know more about your sex or non sex life so let me get to the point why I'm here." Angel says as he goes to the couch where there are two big white boxes. "What are these?" I ask not even seeing them when I come out. "These my dear Moon-Chan, are your costumes for tomorrow." He says making a smile go on my face as I look up at Jack.

"Go ahead love, I think you'll like it." Jack says making me smile more as I go to the first box and open it up. Inside is a beautiful dress, the top is a corset. The fabric was a mix of blue and brown as it tied together in front and had some short almost not showing sleeves. The bottom of the dress was my favorite part, it was a blue and brown long tutu. I've never seen anything so beautiful before. Angel hands me another small box and inside was some gears, earrings and a necklace. "These little gears right here." Angel says picking up three small gears, "These are for your face, they go by your eyes." He say.

"This is so beautiful." I look at Jack who was smiling at me. "I'm wearing a black jacket with red mixed it so show who has power." Jack says making me raise an eyebrow. "Power?" I ask as Angel gives me a big smile showing some fangs in his mouth. "Vampires?" I turn back to Jack, "We're going as vampires?" I ask. "Oh no dearie, I'm going as a vampire." He walks behind me moving my braid to the side. "You, are my victim." He whispers before he kisses my neck making me shiver. His making my emotions go all over the place with that kiss on my neck.

"You'll have two little holes with blood going down your neck showing that you have been taken by Jack." Angel says. I turn around and face Jack wrapping my arms around his neck, "You want me to play the weak little victim?" I ask. "I know you are not a weak little victim but... Humor me just this once. Please?" He ask me nicely, it was getting hard to say no to him. "Fine, but you owe me." I say as he kisses me on the cheek, "You are the best fiancée ever." He say and I almost believed him.

Almost.

Tonight was Jack's basketball game so I decided to do something special... I wore a jersey with his number on it (thank you Angel). "I can't believe we're going to a sports... Thingy." Serena says as we go into the benchers to find a seat and watch the teams warm up. "It's called a basketball game and I want to watch Jack." I say. We don't do sports, it's just not who we are but I knew Jack would like it if I was there to support him and I wanted to watch him play. I watch as Jack finish the rest of his warm up before he joins his team but before he does, he looks up at the stands and locks eyes with me.

I stand and point to my jersey making him smile as he winks before he starts to join his team. "You two are gross." Serena says as she takes a drink of her soda. "It's what we do." I laugh as I sit back down and start to each some cheese fries as the game starts. Jack is amazing, no wonder he was captain. It was like the team could read each other's minds as he called out numbers for different plays, and I won't lie... He looked damn good in his uniform. "You know, this is kind of fun." Serena said as Jack hit a three pointer making us both cheer for him.

"Moon-San." I hear that sweet and spicy voice making my skin crawl as I look by the stairs to see Birdie looking me. "I thought that was you, aww how cute you're wearing Jack's number." Birdie said as I just kept my glare on her. But she took her eyes off of mine and looked at Serena. "Moon-San don't be rude, whose your friend?" She ask making me even more angry. "Umm Usagi Serena." Serena says looking at me with a confused look. "Lou Birdie, I'm Fujita's ex." She added, god I hate her. "Who?" Serena ask not knowing Jack's real last name.

I hear Birdie start to do a fake laugh, "I'm sorry I meant Frost-Chan's ex. Goodness I just get so confused with how many time he..." "Why are you here Lou-San?" I hiss making her shut up before she blows Jack's secret. She looks back at me as she crosses her arms, "I was invited." She says making me raise an eyebrow, no way in hell did Jack invite her. "Birdie, did you find a spot for us?" I hear as I look to see Roxas walk up the stairs holding popcorn and a soda. He looks over at us and smiles, "Moon-Chan, nice to see you. I heard you had a terrible fall last night, how you feeling?" He ask giving me a dark smirk like he knew something that I didn't. "I'm fine..." I hiss as I hear the buzzer go off meaning the first half of the game was over and it's as halftime.

"Well we should find some seats now that it's halftime. Nice seeing you Moon-Chan." Roxas says with a wink. "It was nice meeting you Usagi-San. See you tomorrow Moon-San." Birdie says waving goodbye to us. Serena looks back at me, "Who the hell were those people?" She ask making me shake my head, "Jack's ex and his cousin. Both of them are assholes who like to make my life and Jack's a living hell. Birdie can't get over the fact that Jack with me." I say as I touch my necklace chain. "You want me to kick their asses? Because I can do that." Serena ask making me laugh as I hug her, "Thank you but I can handle them." I say as I pull back to see Jack looking at us form the court a worried look on his face.

I didn't know how to tell him I was okay without using words so I did the only thing I could think of, I place my hand on my heart and took a deep breath and nodded at him. He copies my actions and gives me a smile, he understood. "What was that?" Serena ask. "It's a way we tell each other we're okay. It shows that we care for each other." I say not sure the last part was true or not. "That's kind of cute..." Serena said with a smile, "Mamoru gives me a rose whenever he worries about me. Wither it's real or not, it means a lot to me." She says as she holds her arm. "You miss him huh?" I ask making her nod, "Yeah, I do. Thank god for FaceTime." She says with as weak smile but it was a smile.

I give her another hug, "Just a few more months." I say making her nod, "Just a few more months." she repeats as she pulls back and smiles again, "Thank you Elsa." She says making me smile, I couldn't imagine a world without Serena or my sister. And now... I can't imagine a world without Jack which scares me. "Hey, what did Birdie says about you seeing her tomorrow?" Serena ask making me sigh, "She's throwing a welcome home party for herself, Jack and I have to go... I'm a little worried about it." I say. "I wouldn't be. Jack is crazy about you. He won't let anything happen to you." She says as she stands, "I'm going to get us some Cotten candy, be back in a bit." Making me laugh a little, that girl has an bottomless stomach.

I look back at the court watching the game, but mostly watching Jack. Everyone says they can see that Jack cares for me, and I can see it too. I just wish it was more then just caring, like how I feel about him.

We won, it was a really close game but Jack got the last shot with only a few seconds left on the clock. I was the first one down on the court to congratulate him. At first I was just walking to him so he can talk to his teammate but the minute he locked eyes with me, I started to run to him. I quickly jumped in his arms and wrapped my legs around his waist as he held me. "Congratulations on the winning shot." I say making him smile, "I think you're my good luck charm Elsa. I think you need to come to my games more often." He says making me smile, "You know, I feel like I deserve something for this big win." Jack says wiggling his eyebrows. I roll my eyes as I kiss his nose before I go to his ear.

"Rule number one Frost." I whisper as I feel his body shiver, "I hate that rule." He says back to me making me wish we didn't have that rule either but... I want to see if he'll break that rule because he has feelings for me, not to show people we're fake dating. "Come on, let's go home." He says as he puts me down and we start to walk out. I see Serena by the door waiting for us with her arms crossed. "You two heading out?" She ask making me nod, "Yeah. Thank you for coming with me." I say but she just shrugged it off, "It was fun. Nice shot Frost-San." Serena said as she shook his hand.

"Thanks for watching. And thanks for taking care of Elsa for me., I know I'm a worry wart when it comes to her." He says as he kisses my forehead. "You're not the only one." Serena said making me roll my eyes, "You guys..." I say but it was like neither one of them were listening to me. "You two have fun tomorrow, I'll see you on Monday." Serena said as she waves good bye to us making me turn to Jack, "Ready to go?" I ask making him nod, "Yeah, let's go home. Maybe watch a movie?" He ask. "Why Jack Frost are you asking me out?" I ask as we walked out hand in hand. "I might be. I mean we could do something else. We could take a shower together." He says before he smacks my ass making me yelp before he runs off.

"You are so dead!" I scream as I chase after him laughing as I ran. If this is what Jack Frost is like dating him, I hope it never stops.
