Chapter 1.
Ringo's p.o.v
I sat behind my drums reading the paper. "The Beatles release new movie, A Hard Days Night. Girl's go wild and faint while watching the fab four on the big screen."
I sighed and tossed the paper to the side. "Hey George you want to get something to eat?" I asked watching George writing on a sheet of music.
"I can't Rings. I gotta finish writing this song. Maybe later huh?"
I nodded and was about to ask Paul and John but they were too busy wrapped up doing their own thing,
"Well if you don't need me then I'll be off out."
"Yeah fine Ringo."
"See ya."
"We'll give you a call when we need you."
And just like that they let me leave. I shook my head and grabbed my coat leaving the studio. I bumped into Brian on my way out the door.
"Where do you think you're going Ringo?"
"Off out. Paul said he'd call when they need me."
"Alright that's fine I suppose. Don't go too far though Starkey." He pointed at me and went off on his way.
I looked around and didn't see anyone in sight. I sighed in relief and walked down the familiar road I've walked down many times. It was about noon but it looked dark out as the clouds turned grayer than before. I was going to stop in somewhere to get something to eat until I heard a girl shout from behind.
"Ringo!? Hey Becky its Ringo Starr!!!"
"Shit." I muttered under my breath and started running my way to my flat.
By the time I was at my front door, I was out of breath. I seemed to have lost the girls a while back. I ran a hand through my hair and opened the door letting myself in. The smell of burnt food filled the room as I walked into the kitchen to see Maureen cursing to herself, opening a window.
"Oh... Ritchie you're back early." She exclaimed sounding surprised and annoyed rather than happy.
"Uh yeah. Seems the lads didn't need me in the studio this morning. I'll be off later when they're ready to record."
"Oh alright then." She pouted and threw a spatula into the sink. "I'll just have the housekeeper clean all this up later." She waved at the mess in the kitchen. I just looked around. I wish she wasn't so lazy. Ever since we got a housekeeper a few weeks ago, she never cleaned up after herself.
"Maybe we can go out to eat?" She asked walking towards me and wrapping her arms around my neck. Damn she was sexy. She always knew how to make me weak.
"Why don't we just spend the little bit of time we have together this afternoon here?" I asked leaning in and kissing her. She giggled and kissed back pulling me closer. I picked her up as she wrapped her legs around my waist. She unbuttoned my shirt as I walked us to the bedroom, kicking the door shut behind me.
