kelsie and sloane sat on the front porch of sloane's cabin laughing wholeheartedly together. the past three days have been filled with heart-pounding excitement and intensity. they have gotten majority of the intimate scenes out of the way, blake has surprisingly not caused any commotions on set.

after the first day of seeing ryan and sloane do their scenes.... she decided to step down from her 'intimacy coordinator' role. the original coordinator had her job back which made her happier than ever. she worked her ass off to get where she is today, it was definitely frustrating that a nepo baby came in and took her spot despite not having any experience in the area.

blake has been in the foulest mood these past three days being so ugly to not only ryan but the entire cast and crew. it caused some issues, making the days harder. many were in bad moods being around her for long periods of time. she refused to go home, not until after all the intimate scenes have been wrapped up

archie has also been here being the most supportive person ever for sloane which was so appreciated. he was secure with himself along with his growing relationship with sloane. yes, he definitely could admit that her and ryan have chemistry, but in the end... they both are just doing their jobs. doing a damn good one at that

the driver got out opening the door for archie, he stepped out with a cup holder displaying three large drinks in it. keslie squinted seeing him come towards them, sloane wasn't paying one bit of attention, she just kept yapping to her dear friend. "i got you two a drink from 7 brew!"

sloane gasped turning her attention to him, "you didn't!!!" she said happily, archie smiled sitting the drink carrier on the tiny glass table that was sitting in between them, "i did. one iced matcha with two pumps of vanilla for kelsie." he handed it to her along with a straw

"thank you so much!!" kelsie said excitedly, she needed some energy this morning

archie then handed sloane her drink, "and a iced chai latte with cupcake and vanilla syrup." he winked playfully at her

"dude the nearest 7 brew is like thirty minutes away.... you're nuts. thank you." sloane said playfully reaching over to his his leg

archie chuckled, "anything for you."

they all began sipping their sweet, cold drinks. kelsie pulling out a ten dollar bill to hand to archie who backed away from her, "nope."

"archie! here, it's for the drink you bought me." kelsie had insisted upon but archie waved his hand in the air

"i didn't buy you two drinks so you could pay me back, keep your money." kelsie sat her drink down getting up to walk near archie with her arm stretched out, trying to convince him to take the money

archie kept purposefully dodging her, "dude!! take the money or i'm gonna shove it in your pocket!!" kelsie laughed

"only way that will happen is if you catch me." archie challenged, kelsie started chasing him around the cabins with him laughed heartedly, he thought it was a game

sloane laughed at the two, "take the damn money!!!" she heard kelsie yell out loud, all the cast and crew members started laughing at them

they ran so far down the road, they couldn't even be seen anymore. ryan snuck up the porch to take a seat beside sloane, "hey little person." he jokingly greeted himself getting her attention

"hey." sloane laughed taking a quick sip of her drink, ryan frowned seeing the logo on the large plastic cup, "you didn't bring me any?" he asked with a pouty face

"archie brought me this."

ryan immediately frowned awkwardly whistling, "yeah. that makes sense now." he joked

sloane rolled her eyes at him cracking a smile, "i don't understand the demise between you two, i just don't. help me understand why there is animosity."

"there is no animosity!! i love the guy!!" ryan sarcastically said, clearly lying through his teeth

sloane gave him a 'be so for real' look. ryan cleared his throat, "if you like it.... i love it." ryan claimed but sloane side eyed him, she didn't feel confidence dripping from that sentence

"i think you have no reason to dislike him, maybe you guys should have a sit down talk. one on one, man to man and discuss whatever you two are feeling." sloane suggested coming from a good place

"and what are we gonna do after that? knit a sweater, share a hearty laugh?" ryan just laughed loudly at the suggestion thinking it was ridiculous

sloane sighed, "forget it. it was a dumb idea." she mumbled sadly, ryan stopped laughing seeing her look down in defeat. he began to feel bad, starting to think

ryan rolled his eyes not even believing what he was about to say, "okay. fine. i guess me and the lad could have a drink and chat." he said sounding like he was in pain finishing that horrid sentence

"great." sloane fixed her tone, knowing her acting would work on him. ryan deviously smiled, "you little shit." he pointed at her, they both shared a laugh as archie and kelsie made their way back to the cabin seeing them both sitting there

"he didn't take the fucking money." kelsie whined as they both were letting out huge breaths of air trying to regain their normal, steady heart rates

at the end of the day, when it turned dark.... ryan and archie sat from across each other. a bonfire sitting in between the two as they both sat on some logs. both men had two different mugs in their hands, filled with some expensive whiskey, neither taking a sip of their drinks yet

"why did you want to talk to me?" archie said breaking the ice, all the two have done for the past ten minutes is stare into each other's eyes

ryan didn't even try to sound convincing, "sloane had this grand idea that the two of us should talk, i'm only doing this to keep her happy."

archie was taken back by his choice of words, his eyebrows wriggled, "keep her happy?"

"well we're working on this movie together plus we are friends, i just want to keep seeing her smile."

"yeah i um i know the two of you didn't have the best introduction to each other." archie said

ryan shrugged, "we didn't but we've moved past that and we are great now."

"what's your reasoning for disliking me?"

ryan laughed taking a sip of the strong whiskey that burned his throat, "don't flatter yourself, i don't dislike you."

"then at least tell me why there is sudden animosity whenever i am here." archie said with patience, he leaned forward not breaking eye contact with ryan, hoping for a solid and reasonable answer

"because i know you are not the right man for sloane, she can do way better." ryan said with ease, the sentence rolled off his tongue too smoothly. sounding like something he has been wanting to say for awhile

"that's your opinion and you are totally entitled to that." archie sounded unbothered by that statement, nodding his head in a respectful manner

"no it's a fact. she doesn't deserve to be dealing with your babymomma drama, she is too good to be dealing with the nonsense you have going on in your life."

"you're right but i'm doing my best to keep the mother of my kid in tact, there is only so much i can do." archie said

ryan laughed coldly, "you are pathetic and if you really care about sloane, you'd let her go and only stay friends with her." ryan stood up leaving archie to sit there by himself

when he made it back to his cabin, he went inside to see his wife sitting in the living room wide away. he mentally cursed not really up for any kind of conversation with her especially yelling or arguing. he tried ignoring her, attempting to head up to his master bedroom

"what were you doing out there talking to archie?" blake asked in a sudden swift

ryan stopped making his way upstairs to respond, "it really doesn't matter."

"but it does. i've never seen you attempt to even talk to him but now all of sudden i look out the window seeing you two talking, what is the problem?" blake asked, her voice echoing throughout the cabin

"sloane wanted us to talk." ryan simply said

blake chuckled hearing her name, "sloane..." she stood up crossing her arms facing her husband. scared to ask him about her, "what's really going on between you and her?" she asked nervously

"nothing is going on." ryan answered sharply

"i don't believe you—-"

"blake let's not go there tonight. i really don't want to argue." ryan pleaded with tiresome eyes, all he wanted to do was shower then go to sleep

"i know you have feelings for that girl. the chemistry between you two during those intimate scenes... it is too obvious——-"

"this is my job. i'm doing my job, to get bills paid. to make sure our family is well provided for."

what he said clearly didn't matter, "you gave her that exact same look you gave me when we first fell in love." blake pointed at him

ryan chuckled not even entertaining her claims, it was all a set up. blake was waiting for him to say the wrong thing so she could start a full blown argument with her husband.

"if you are divorcing me then get with a young twenty something year old... i promise you that i'll do everything in my power to get full custody of our kids. i will make sure to make your life a living hell for as long as i live." blake said with a shallow tone

"and i'll make sure it gets out that you had an affair and cheated on your husband, so called best friend." ryan revealed to her, blake widened her eyes not expecting him to know anything about it

he went upstairs leaving her to stand there completely dumbfounded, she felt her stomach beginning to do backflips
