a24 Lila Neugebauer's film "Countryside" starring Sloane Weaver and Ryan Reynolds starts production today. Movie is set to hit theaters in 2025 and filming will take place in Woodstock, Vermont and Pigeon Forge, Tennessee.

sloane was in her trailer getting ready for the long day ahead of them. first day of production.

her shoulder length jet black hair was in a wavy like state. minimal makeup sat on her face consisting of a chocolate brown eyeliner and mascara. she wore a 90s vintage multicolored striped shirt, some star converse one shoes and some dark washed skinny jeans

kelsie was sitting in the corner watching as her makeup artist and hairstylist added the final touches for her look. "you look so pretty." she complimented her beautiful client who now is basically family

kelsie has been sloane's agent for a year and a half. she became her agent around the time she got her role in wednesday.... a role she convinced sloane to audition for.

sloane looked for a new team right before she hit stardom. she felt she wasn't getting anywhere with her team. majority of them were messy. always talking about people within the industry. sifting through trying to find dirt on others while telling some of their clients business.

sloane quickly thought, "if they could do this to their other clients they could do this to me."

letting them go wasn't easy. they had been with her for years but she was ready to flourish even more in her life without the mess. kelsie is an angel sent from above.

she actually does her research for auditions before sending them over to sloane. she pushes her out of her comfort zone but not to the point where sloane is uncomfortable or weirded out. she cares about her mental and psychical health always making sure she is okay even when she isn't.

there have been days where sloane definitely should have been filming an audition tape but kelsie never fretted about it. all that matters for her is that sloane is happy and doing what she loves. sloane couldn't move her head because she was getting her hair done still but she made eye contact with kelsie flashing that pretty smile of hers, "thank you."

"you're welcome. are you excited about starting filming?" kelsie asked. sloane gave kelsie a shaky hand

"kind of. i'm just honestly hoping that blake doesn't put her input in yet again. i've tried being quiet but she is getting on my nerves trying to take over and silence lila."

kelsie nodded agreeing with everything she said, "i don't think you have to worry about her after tomorrow."

sloane frowned, "why is that?" the hairstylist and makeup artists finished up quickly taking pictures, "thank you guys so much. you both are amazing and so wonderful." sloane complimented

"no seriously you guys are the best. she looks perfect!!" jane and lily smiled, "you're welcome. you ladies have a wonderful day on set. we'll be nearby if you need anything."

they opened the door heading out of the trailer leaving the two ladies alone so they could chat.

"but why?" sloane quickly asked as soon as the door shut. "because tomorrow is the it ends with us london premiere. her and ryan are leaving for it today after you two are done shooting."

sloane shot a confused look wondering how kelsie knew this information. "i was getting donuts this morning and passed by his trailer. i heard them chatting."

sloane chuckled pointed at her, "no! you were eavesdropping!" she called her out on her bullshit. kelsie shrugged, "same thing, now anyways!"

"something is off about them." sloane nodded, "definitely." she took a quick sip of her matcha drink

"you know colleen hoover?" sloane thought to herself for a second trying to remember where she knows that name from, "she is an author right?"

"mhm. well they have made her book it ends with us into a movie. the movie blake is currently doing press for. the book is about domestic violence but in my opinion they have been promoting it as a rom-com which doesn't sit right with me and many others. plus something went down on that set because everyone is acting as justin the director doesn't exist. he is the ONLY one out of the entire cast doing the right thing discussing domestic violence. meanwhile blake has been using this press tour to promote her new hair care line and make sure her dresses match the aesthetic of the book. all of it is just weird to me."

sloane was surprised to hear all of this. she doesn't use social media like that and if she hears about anything, it is from kelsie. "that sounds very tonedeaf using a press tour to talk about your hair care line."

"it definitely is!!" sloane quickly thought, "wait you said something went down on that set? how do you know about all of this?"

"i have a friend who worked on the movie and she knows EVERYTHING that went down. she told me about it all a few days ago."

"so what went down with the director?" sloane normally wasn't into gossip but she was dying to know about this. all of it sounds juicy

"ryan was getting too fucking involved with the film. he was the one who wrote the rooftop scene for that film which is a key part of the book. plus blake was trying to take over. she became the intimacy coordinator was trying direct the movie getting into justin's way. blake was getting told no too many times and she was initially pissed about that. she did and is doing her best trying to get an oscar nomination with this movie."

sloane exhaled, "that is alot to digest.... justin seems like a nice man to me. i didn't get an off vibe from him a couple of weeks ago."

"one of my clients has worked with him before and i was around majority of the time they filmed. he is an angel. i feel really bad for him." kelsie admitted

sloane is one of the top contenders to be starring in justin's next film. it is going to be a rom-com. "i think he will overcome all of this—-"

just as sloane spoke, there was a knock on the door. "come in!" she yelled. it was lila coming in seeming happy and excited about the first day of filming.

"good morning beautiful ladies!! we're going to have a quick meeting and i'd love it if you two would join?" kelsie nodded along with sloane. she quickly put her shoes on and grabbed her iced matcha following in behind lila.

everyone was standing right outside of her trailer all talking. blake and ryan shot a glance at sloane who wasn't even paying attention. finneas and emma waved at sloane who's eyes lit up. she had no idea they were here. she happily waved back

"alright guys!! good morning!!" lila said

"goodmorning!!" everyone said sounding like they all were in a good mood.

lila smiled clasping her hands together, "i'm really excited about us starting production today. each and every single one of you are vital and important for this film whether you are in front of the camera or behind it. i really do appreciate you all." everyone looked around at each other smiling

"now we will be shooting this film in chronological order. i feel it will be better this way. sloane's character plays a vital role in this film so she will be the one who is basically filming majority of today while ryan—-" she looked over at him

"you will film only a little bit today but i want you to pay close attention." ryan gave her a thumbs up, "yes ma'am."

"also before we get started. there is some more great news...." lila seemed to be forcing a smile. she didn't seem happy about the news she is about to reveal. sloane and kelsie noticed how her body language shifted

but nobody noticed because she quickly picked herself back up, "blake is now one of the producers!" lila said

everyone had a delayed reaction but applauded as blake smiled brightly side hugging her husband who cheekily was smiling.

"goodmornin' lads!!!" everyone heard somebody from far away yell. sloane knew that irish accent all too well. she looked over to see barry confidently walking up. she gasped

"barry!!!" she yelled excitedly. barry smiled, "sloane!!!" he yelled. she ran over to him jumping into his arms. he caught her perfectly giving her the warmest, tightest hug ever

ryan was absolutely discombobulated, "why is he here?" he asked sounding irritated

"barry will be the understudy for your role. he'll be here for a few weeks watching and scoping everything out."

ryan didn't take well to hearing that news but he refused to let everyone see him sweat. "i'm ryan fucking reynolds." he thought

"cool." he dryly said as barry and sloane came over. he introduced himself to everyone with ryan not even shaking his hand, blake didn't even speak to the irish heartthrob
