Char's POV

I finished packing. A few teardrops fell on my suitcase.

I hope Lexi would be okay.

She's worried about me. I'll be fine.

I may look like a shy little mouse, but if that crap - face who hurt Lexi tries to hurt me I could...I could... do karate! Yeah that's right! I'll be all pow pow wham!

Okay not really.

I'm happy she cares about me. Even though I'm worrying my butt off about her.

"Lexi...I'm all done." I wiped my face again, hiding any tears that might have been there.

"Thank you for understanding. I promise once everything is okay again, you can come back. And I might just show you some more things about being a bad girl."

She sent me a playfull wink.

It'd amazing how she survived, staying as positive as she could. She went through all those terrible things in her life. But look at her- well I mean she could be better. That's where I come in.

"Oh. Alright, I look forward to that."

I looked into her eyes one last time.

"See you later, Char."

"See you later, Lexi."

I hopped in the cab, to Demi's house.

Demi was another close friend I had. She lives in a small house with her boyfriend. I'm sure they'd have some space for me. Right?

I guess Demi is kinda cute. She's got red hair, and these emerald green eyes.

Not as cute as Lexi bear!

Oh god. It's going to be a tough time without her. It seems I can't get my mind off her.

"Hi Demi!"

Oh shark fins! What do I tell her? What's my reason for staying here?

"Hey Char Char! What brings you by?"

"Well um...."

QUICK THINK CHAR, THINK!

"Well my house is being sprayed with. ..thay bug stuff. ..insecticide! And I need a place to stay for...about a week"

I took a deep breath, hoping I did good at lying.

"Okay, sure! Come in"

PHEW!

Lexi's POV

I'd called up alot of my customers. Lots of them agreed to meet today. Good.

I needed everyone I could sell to.

I need that money.

I also put up some old junk on ebay.

Plus, I have a shift at the club tomorrow night. I'll get paid for that too.

I was working my booty off.

I stuffed a couple packets into my bakpack. Making sure you couldn't smell it from the outside.

I went out as soon as I could. The cold air was only an annoyance.

It took a few hours to sell it all. By then I was tired.

I felt like going home and sleeping. Sleeping until all my problems were gone. But I can't.

I climbed up to the top bunk, Char's bunk.

I curled up in her blankets. I inhaled her scent. It was great. Maybe it was lavender...

It helped me be calm.

Heh. If only she was here to catch me. She'd be suprised, probably embarrassed. She'd think I was crazy.

I drifted off, to a land where everything was perfect. Where none of this had to happen.

Where Char didn't have to be away.

I woke up to a few texts from her.

Hi Lexi! Good morning, bad girl.

I hope you're okay. I want to come home already. Miss you. Xoxo <3

I smiled, sheepishly.

I never thought I'd be able to feel this way about someone. Espesially her. I thought I'd have to shut the world out. It's better that way.

Well it was.

But now I can finally have a life. A life with Char.

But I've got to pay this bastard first.

Aye! WOOT WOOT! Another chapter xD

Sorry I haven't been writing Our story as much. I guess I just needed a break. I'll write more of it tho. Don't worry xD
