-the Christmas after the war-

Molly Weasley received a letter from her beloved daughter Ginny.  It said:

Dear Mom,

Merry Christmas! How are you? Harry and I are doing great! I hope you and Dad are having a good time. We will be coming back to the Burrow for Christmas.  Knowing you, you have already started the Christmas sweaters and I hope you don't mind but I have a special request; do you remember the year where you mixed up the packages for Fred and George and they went around telling everyone their names were Gred and Feorge?  Well I know that we are all missing Fred especially this time of year the only time that I think I could miss him more than now is on April fools day.  Fred's death hit George the hardest with them being twin brothers and all so I was thinking about what would cheer him up on this special holiday because I don't think that he'll be in the mood for celebrating without Fred there.  But I think it would be nice to celebrate Christmas as a family, a happy family.  So I was thinking in honour of Fred's memory and to lift George's spirit what if you mixed up the packages for my and George's sweaters so when he opens his present he gets my sweater and when I open mine I get his.  If you agree to do this don't tell anyone you did it in purpose.

Molly could tell that Ginny had been crying while writing this there were drops of tears all over the parchment. She was crying as well, however she couldn't help but smile at the idea her daughter had and agreed that it might get George to at least smile.

Mrs. Weasley continued to open and read her mail occasionally checking her knitting to make sure the needles didn't drop a stitch although she doubted that was possible since she was using magic.  Finally she came across the letter she wanted to read the one from George.  It said :

Hi Mom,

It's great to hear from you. Everything is going good at Weasleys' Wizard Wheezes business is booming. I wish Fred were here to see it.  Anyway I'll be coming home for Christmas which reminds me merry Christmas Mom.  Please send my wishes to Dad.  Can't wait to see you all again and finally catch my breath from running the shop.  I hope Charlie brings the kids!

He has better not being them Molly thought to herself there were still burn marks in the house from them.  But I'm glad he'll be coming home for Christmas.  The next letter she grabbed was slightly singed on the edges it was from Charlie.

Dear Mom,

I hope you and Dad are having a fantastic Christmas so far.  I will be coming to the Burrow for Christmas and I'm bringing the kids so please make extra.  Don't worry I'm only brining five this time. Anyway can't wait to see you all again!
