"Hello, who are you" the black and white cat asked "I'm Sadie" Sadie responded, "who are you" "I'm black paw" the black and white cat- black paw said "where are you from" Sadie questioned "thunderclan" "what's that" "a clan of cats" "please tell me more" "i need to head back to camp but I'll meet you here the same time tomorrow" "ok, thank you" blackpaw trotted back to the forest the huge trees eating up the shape of the young cat. Sadie twitched her white tail tip and looked longingly to where black paw had disappeared.

They met every afternoon after that and Sadie learned all about warrois and the code and the clans, She learned that bkackpaw was a medicine cat apprentice, she learned the naming system of the clans, she also learned about starclan and the gatherings. Moons past and the white stuff which black paw called snow melted away. Sadie went outside to wait for black paw like she usually did. She lept over her fence and waited the sun was beginning it's downward decent and Sadie was getting worried, black paw always came. She tried to convince herself that she probably just had somthing to do and couldn't make it, but she couldn't shake the worry that clung to her pelt. Finally she saw black paw streaking towards her, but this wasn't normal she was running flat out like she was being chased and to her horror when black paw halted infront of her she saw a couple bleeding scratches. "What happend" mewed Sadie "shadow clan attacked our camp" most of our warrois are gone on patrols and we're gravely outnumbered, I need your help" black paw said finishing up her summary "what can I do" Sadie said resolutely "go to river clan, find a patrol, get them to help" "I will, but why can't you or one of your clan mates get them" "the clan will need thier medicine cats and all of there warrois" black paw said "ok, I'll go" Sadie said turning around and racing towards river clan. Sadie raced through the trees hoping to find a patrol or better yet the camp. After what felt like and eternity she stumbled across a patrol of five warriors and three apprentices "what are you doing here" one of the warriors hissed "I need your help" Sadie mewed dipping her head politely "thundercalns being attacked by shadow clan and they are badly outnumbered, black paw sent me here to ask for your help" Sadie explained the datk Grey warrior who had spoken still glared at her but a redush brown she-cat stepped forward and spoke "I am Redwing, medicine cat of riverclan I know black paw and her mentor they wouldn't lie and if she needs help I for one will help her" the refish cat- Redwing said "thank you" mewed Sadie "fine let's go then if it means we can stop dithering" "sagetail take the other apprentices back to camp" the gray tom ordered. a small Grey cat who was probably sagetail nodded to the Grey tom and flicked her tail at the two other apprentices. The rest of the patrol raced through the trees towards Thunder clan Sadie hesitated she had fulfilled her promise she should go home, but wabt If they needed her after all one cat could make all the difference even if she was a kitty pet. Having made her decision she bounded quickly after the patrol. In no time the broke through the trees and found the tundercakn camp. As the rest of the patrol streamed into the camp, fighting the shadowclan warriors, she stood there frozen, she had never seen cats fight for she was a kitty pet, it looked crazy cats all fighting each other wouldn't it be hard to tell the difrence from a thunderclan warroir And a riverclan one? Sadie looked for a famialer face and that's when she saw it; black paw was being pinned down by a large tom, her best friend was about to die.
