😇 Chapter 5 : My Secret Keeper

Logen went to check in on his brother who he only recently barely learned existed few weeks ago .
He breathed a sigh of relief the nurse at the front desk told him that he had survived the car accident with a mild head concussion and some bruisings along with his body being in a type of shock .
He smiles seeing this young guy who he truly wants to be a part of after all he is a blood relative .
He would never had admitted this to anybody , but deep down he kinda always wanted a younger brother to play catch with , even few board games on a rainy day .

As luck would have it , thunder storm growled fiercly outside .. he mused to himself .. the one day he
decided not to pack a raincoat in the back of his car .

His sibling wakes up , surprised at seeing him .
" Hey there sleepy head ,
how are they treating you here ? " He asks slowly attempting to break the ice .
Jet gets comfy , but has trouble getting his pillow just right .
Logen offers to help resituate the cotton pillow behind his head .
" Oh wow , geez thanks bro uh .. I mean Logen ! " he says catching the slight error out of his mouth .
Logen just shrugs ,
" No , it's fine you are my little brother so I am really cool with it .
Look I want to appologize over my reaction learning of our blood ties last year .
It took me completely by surprise , but after thinking it over I accept you as my brother , welcome to the family ! " He says feeling that weight of doubt quickly fade away .
He looked at Jets bruised face that look like somebody hit him with a baseball bat .
Jet begins to crack a smile , tears streaming down his face .
" You are really cool Logen , I am honored that you are my brother ! " Says Jet
Logen starts getting emotional , teary eyed himself .
They finally embrace .
" I got a big secret to share with you , but I just not sure how you will react though ! "
hints his younger brother .
He shows deep concern .
" You can tell me anything , we are brothers for life .
I want you to move in with me and my 10year old daughter Josslyn , who by the way is your neice ! '
he says .
Jet continues getting emotional , wiping tears from his face ..while Logen holds onto every word he's about to say ..
" I am gay , I been gay for a long time .. still want me as a roommate now ? "
he asks after revealing such an INTENSE bombshell .
Logen replys steadily ..
" That's perfectly fine with me that you are gay .
I watch Will & Grace does that tell you I am ok with gays ? " He asks
Jet breaks
from his resolve .
" Oh wow ,
Really ?
Who is your favorite Will or Jack ? " he asks curiously .
" Jack , he's so witty and very amusing too , not that Will isn't just feel the guy needs to get laid more than Jack ! " replies Logen .
They break up in laughter..

The afternoon persists as Logen returns with lunch from downstairs consisting of freshly made Cesar Salad ..and green citrus tea .

The radio plays a song Jet likes as he moves his head a bit to the music ..

Logen dives into entertaing him by dancing along to the song ..
Singing ..
" Shake it Off ! "
by Taylor Swift .
