🌼 Chapter 21 : FREE WOMAN

It's a chilly afternoon in Stars Hollow , Lorelli is waking up alone in her bed .

She cant believe what has gone down from being diagnosed with cancer , killing somebody , her grandaughter going missing and also her estranged husband telling her he wants a divorce to her only daughter Rory having a mental break down ..

She washes up and gets dressed up to start some type of day .

She gets a hot delicious cup of coffee' going then yells out to see if anybody is in her home ..

Silence is deafening , her mind cant handle it its too quiet ..

She checks her phone ..

Logen , Jesse , Luke all assure her that they are pursuing Josslyn ..

She breaks down in tears ..

Then she puts the tv on ..

Its playing a classic Golden Girls re-run as she slumps in tears as she misses her baby girl even more ..

After a long hour of going back to bed. .

The door bell rings ..

The guy behind the door is cute. .

Blonde haired , blue eyes and resembles a superhero in a tv show she watched over the summer ..

He smiles , she finds herself very attracted ..

The young striking gentleman shows a deep concern on his face ..

" Hello , i am Jake Albony i am your new mailman ..

I am sorry i saw the letter you got ..

Divorce isnt always easy i should know my parents divorced at age 10yrs old !

I grew up just me and my dad mom left us soon after. "

She temp feels out of sorts ..

He offers to make her something .

She tastes the food he created in a FLASH !

She feels a connection as does he .

" I really needed a friend today especially after this ! " she says throwing the envelope in the trash .

He slowly reaches his hands to hers. .

It's your independence day ! "

he says

She knods ..

He gets closer ..

" Jake ? "

She asks

" Yes ? "

He asks holding onto every word she says

" I was thinking of going back to bed care to join ? " she asks hoping he say yes

He smiles big ..

" Yes , sounds fun no doubt but its such a beautiful chilly day out what say we go enjoy my favorite candy cane moca latte extra whipped cream then i take us to go ice skating then we get back here to do whatever your heart desires ? "

he asks

She cant resist .

She replys with a lingering sweet kiss as he returns the kiss with a romantic french twist ..
