Gila woke up to noise outside the house. She opened the front door a little bit. When she looked out she saw tons of dragons going to a market just around the block. "Desertglider, and Lion stay here while. "Where are you going??" Lion asked while tilting her head. In the dark her scales looked pitch black. Desertglider was zoned out, probably experiencing a vision. Lion nudged her. "I'm going to the market and do not answer the door unless you hear f seven knocks.Ok?" "Ok!" The two dragonets said at the same time. Gila opened the front door and pulled her hood over her head. Out of her whole family she was the most noticeable. She hoped that there wasn't any Nightwing spy's lurking in the dark alleyways of the city. When she entered the market it was packed. There were dragons of all tribes. (except Nightwings) Gila approached a stand that was selling fruits. A young RainWing was working the stand. Gila was in front of the stand when the RainWing looked up from her scroll. "Hello!" The RainWing said. The RainWing had peachy colored scales with her under belly being a light yellow, her frill was a light orange, and her eyes were a bright green. "Hello do you happen to have any mangos?" The RainWing looked surprised at her request. "Most Sandwings don't know what a mango is." She said. "Yes i do have mangos though." She tossed Gila two mangos. "Oh I only want one." Gila said. "The second one is free." The RainWing said. Her frill changed to a vibrant yellow. Gila blinked a couple of times her eyes welled up. Her eyes were  getting watery because of the RainWing's vibrant yellow frill. "Oh sorry I forget sometimes that some dragons aren't used to bright colors." The RainWing said. Her frill changed to a bleak shade of blue. Gila put four coins on the RainWing's stand. Ahead she saw two Nightwings. She stiffened. A cloud was gathering around the two of them. A guard was rushing over to the scene. One of the Nightwings bolted into the air. He scanned the area. It was the same dragon that took her parents. Gila stepped back. The dragons eyes locked on her cloaked figure. He flew towards her. Gila grabbed a pebble that was on the ground. Enchant this pebble to hit Visonseeker's eye hard enough that he has to land. The pebble rushed out of her talons towards Visonseeker. Gila ran through a dark alleyway almost crashing into a wooden crate. She knocked on the door seven times. Lion opened the door. Lion eyes widened. "Sissy what happened!?" 

I looked down at her. "Nothing happened." I said while stroking her head. "You're lying to me!" Lion hissed. Desertglider walked down the stairs. Lion was now clawing at my leg. "Tell me the truth!!!" She screamed. I rolled my eyes. "I'll use my magic on you!" She screamed again. I was shocked. Wait certainly she can't be... she would be just like that dragon my mom told stories to me about. "Lion stop pretending to be a wizard." Desertglider said while rolling her dark eyes. Lion looked over at her then back at me. "Wow your such a baby." I scoffed. Lion hissed at me then she went back upstairs. "What did you get from the market? Glider asked. (I was tired of typing Desertglider so her nickname is Gilder.) "I got two mangos." I said while pulling the mangos out of my bag. Glider grabbed the mango out of my claws. "I was really... hoping you would get ... some blankets." She said while chewing. "Sorry I didn't see any I'll look again tomorrow. Glider usually would pay attention to futures more than reading other dragons minds. I smiled then I put the other mango on the stone countertop.  

I crept out of the house a little after sunset. My sisters were sleeping so I didn't have to tell them where I was going. I had to stay inside for most of the day so I couldn't meet up with joe. (The Sandwing  guard she met last chapter.) the market was till very lively. I bought some more fruits and some meat that was frozen with frost breath. I also bought a couple of mats and blankets for the house. When I rode the corner I saw Joe talking to two hooded dragons. I recognized one. It was Molten. I could hear what they were talking about. "Yeah I helped her find a house." Joe said. "Do you know where the house is?" Molten asked. "Hmmmmm yeah I do I could show it to y'all." Joe offered. "Please do." The other dragon said. Joe was about to turn around when I erased his mind of every memory about me. I  could feel the magic rush through my body. I put my talons over my head. I've used my powers twice in one day. I don't want to be like Albatross! I  crept back into my house where I found everything like I left it. I laid out the blue, white, and gold carpet on the dark stone floor then I went upstairs and tried to go to sleep. Tears filled my eyes. I had just lost my mother and father. When my father had the chance to escape with me he didn't. Also I had cast two spells in one day. I eventually fell asleep beneath  the sky whole in the house.
