*Adrian’s POV*

5 years later

I was sitting at the counter eating my sandwich when Trey came running in, “Momma, Momma, Mathew pulled my hair!!!” I sighed, Mathew was Jason and Maggie’s son, he was super sweet but he always teased Trey. Trey was my daughter, and she was five years old. I got pregnant with her after the first time Gage and I had sex, yes that meant the day we mated. Mathew was only two months older than Trey, and they had a lot of fun, but he could definitely be a bully sometimes.“Mathew say you are sorry.” I stated, “Sorry Trey, I was just playing around, I didn’t mean to hurt you.” I nodded that it was good enough, so he ran into his room. Then I saw Nate, Connor’s son, also known as the beta to be, he ran up to Trey, and kissed her on the cheek. Trey blushed, that made me chuckle, “Nate cut it out.” “Sorry Trey but I like the little tingles that it makes whenever I touch you.”

            I could not believe it. Was Nate Trey’s mate? Oh My God, that would be so cute, “Well I like it too, but you don’t see me running up to you and kissing your cheek in public do you?” He blushed and looked away, “I’m sorry, it won’t happen again.” Trey sighed, I could tell she did not like hurting his feelings, so she went up to him and kissed him. “I’m sorry; I did not mean to hurt your feelings.” I smiled at them, then I felt to arms snake around my waist, “Hey beautiful.” I smiled, turned around and hugged Gage, “Hey.” I said, and snuggled into him. “See they do it.” “Yes but they already claimed each-other as mates, it is normal.” Trey said, and I burst out laughing, “It is normal for any mate to do it, even if they are not mated yet.” They both smiled, and ran off to play, “Gage they are mates.” I stated, I looked at him, and he smiled. “Well that’s nice, at least their parents are our friends.” I nodded, I could not wait for them to grow up, get married, and have kids together. But that’s for another story.
