Chapter 11

*Gage’s POV*

I could not wait to tell Adrian that she was part of the pack, I was looking everywhere for her, and then I saw her. She got out of a jeep with Maggie right behind her. What the hell? Adrian saw me, smiled hugely, and ran up to me. “Oh My God, Gage! Guess what!” Maggie screeched as she ran up to me and grabbed me in a huge bear… I mean wolf hug. Haha get it? “What is it Maggie?” I asked, she looked up at me and smiled, “I found my mate. And Want to know what? It’s Adrian’s cousin Justin.” I was surprised, who would’ve thought, then I saw Adrian, my little angel, with her sunglasses on like always, she was smiling just as hugely as Maggie, well I guess that makes sense, since it was her cousin who found his mate. “I know I was very surprised to see her at my house, and when I found out she was my cousin’s mate I was super happy, because she is one of my best friends!” I smiled at her, whenever she was happy I was. Then I remembered the news I was going to share with her and got even more excited. “Guess what!” I said hyperly, they both looked at me questionably, “You are part of the pack!” I said, I never saw her smile so bigly. “No way!” She screeched, I just smiled and nodded, then she jumped into the air, “Yes! Yes! Yes!” She screamed, wow I didn’t think she would be that excited, then we heard a whole bunch of girls gasp, so we turned around, and I heard Adrian squeal.

            I looked at the Audi that pulled into the parking lot, and saw a boy get out, and if I must say so myself, if I was gay I would so be crushing on him. “Oh My God! Drew? What are you doing here?” Adrian screeched, “I was sent by the alpha to keep an eye on you. He knows that you are the witch/wolf, and he wanted me to take care of you.” Sh*t! How did he know? Now everybody around us knew. I heard Maggie gasp, so I looked over at her and saw horror in her eyes. “What? Adrian you are the witch/wolf! Please don’t hurt me!” She screamed, and ducked down to bow at her feet. I saw hurt in Adrian’s eyes. Wait! Did I just say eyes? Oh My God she had her sunglasses off! “I would never hurt you Maggie! I have never hurt anybody. I know about the rumors, but they are not true.” I saw Maggie blow out a huge breath, then she smiled, “Okay then. Let’s go to class, oh and I wouldn’t take off the glasses if I were you.” She winked, and I saw Adrian’s look of relief before she put on the glasses and headed to class.

*Adrian’s POV*

We were in social studies, and if I must say it was the best class in the world. Mrs. Clark is awesome and always has us do fun things. Like some-days she doesn’t feel like teaching so she would just let us do whatever we want; it was a free period. I usually do homework, to just get it done, but today I just hung, talked with Gage, Maggie, and Drew, but Maggie was not really paying attention, she was to busy talking with Josh. “So Adrian, now that you are part of the pack are you going to the pack meeting tonight?” I gasped and turned to Gage, “Why didn’t you tell me there was going to be a pack meeting tonight?!” I asked/screamed at him, he just shrugged, “I was going to tell you after school, calm down.” Just after that the bell wrung, ugh time for science, the worst class in the world. We had Mr. Thompson, and he was the one teacher in the whole school that had a monotone voice, and he was really strict. Mrs. Clark said goodbye, telling us we didn’t have homework, which wasn’t a surprise, we never had homework in her class, especially on a Friday.

*Gage’s POV*

            We all grabbed our stuff and headed off to science, ugh worst class ever; I wasn’t exactly Mr. Thompson’s favorite child. Okay for lack of a better word, he hated me. I saw Adrian heading for the door, her hips swaying from side to side, God she didn’t know what she did to me. I wanted to just take her then and there, but I had to hold back, she needed time, and I would give that her. I ran up, and slung my arm around her shoulders, she leaned into me, and unconsciously she had her hand right by my now growing ‘little friend’. Shit! I grabbed her hand, and put it around my waist, and she looked at me confused. “Your hand was about to touch my groin, and I didn’t think you would like what you feel.” She looked down and saw the boner, she blushed and looked away, “Sorry I didn’t know.” I chuckled, smirked, and kissed her cheek, “Oh don’t be sorry, I would be happy to let you touch me, I just thought it would be inappropriate for school.” That made her blush even harder.

*Adrian’s POV*

Oh My God, I could not believe what I had done. What the hell was I thinking! I know, I didn’t mean to do it but it was still embarrassing, especially what he said afterwards. I walked into the science room, and there standing at the front of the class, was my mother. What the hell was she doing here?
