Chapter 3 *Adrian’s POV*

I was running for who knows how long, and then I smelt him. The smell hit me like a thousand bullets; it was the best smell I had ever smelt. I knew it was a boy because the smell, girl and boy werewolves have different smells. I kept on running until I saw him, he had glossy black fur, and brown eyes, people could tell the color of werewolves eyes and hair by their fur and, well, eyes. I had a different situation my fur matched my eyes, so half of it was black and the other half was gold. He stood tall, and I immediately looked down so he couldn’t see my eyes, but I heard him growling, I sneaked a peak, and he was standing right in-front of me. He looked surprised when he saw my eyes, then he lunged at me, and then I teleported out. I landed in my room since that was where I chose to go. Oh did I forget to tell you?  One of my other powers was teleporting, of course I could only do it in wolf form, which stunk.

*Gage’s POV* 

I could not believe it, I saw her, the witch/wolf I knew it was stupid to lunge at her, I had heard of her powers and it looked like teleporting was one of them. She was a beautiful wolf though, maybe she went to our school, that would have been awesome. I headed back home where my pack lived, yes all of us lived in the same house, it was a mansion. It was in a forest so people wouldn’t see it. I had just been patrolling when I saw her, maybe I should tell the rest of the pack, but they might have gone after her, I could not have let that happen.

*Adrian’s POV*

So I just got done with my shower, I was pulling on my pajamas when Josh came in, “You went for a run didn’t you?” I nodded my head and crawled into my bed, “Well be careful I do not want you getting hurt.” I just nodded my head again, and fell asleep. I woke up the next morning and ate my breakfast, eggs and bacon. My favorite. I went up to take a shower, and got dressed, Then I was about to go to school. Wish me luck! 

Chapter 4

*Gage’s POV*

I just got to school, looking around at all my friends, there was my second best friend Connor, he was the beta’s son, the Freddie, he was just like me, an ordinary wolf that was part of the pack, and there was Brett, the alpha’s son. He was a complete know it all and a jerk, only the sluts slept with him, and only social climbers were his friends. I saw Maggie, the only girl who hung out with us that wasn’t one of our girlfriends or mates. She was beautiful, she had brown hair that went to her shoulders, and blue eyes, I did not like her in a dating way, but she was my best friend, and I loved her like a sister. Then I heard Brett say, “Hey guys look at the new girl, even behind those sunglasses she looks very pretty.”

I looked and saw her, she had long blonde hair, pale skin, which made sense, since we lived in a very small town in Quebec, Canada. She had on a pair of sunglasses, and she looked like she was about 5’6. “Leave her alone Brett, she is new and doesn’t know that you are a total man-whore, and don’t give a crap about girls.” He looked at me with anger in his eyes. “Do not speak to me that way Gage I am soon to be alpha, and if you keep that up, you will get booted out.” Maggie stepped forward, “Oh please Brett, stop acting like you are the best thing since water, and get your head out of you’re a**, before it gets stuck up there forever.” We all looked at her in surprise; I knew that she had always had a crush on Brett, ever since her mom and his dad became best friends. She looked proud of herself for saying that, I smiled at her, I guess she finally saw him for what he really was. Brett just walked away while shaking his head, I noticed he was heading for the girl, and that ticked me off. I started towards them, I didn’t know why, but I felt the need to protect her.

*Adrian’s POV*

I was standing outside of the school, just waiting for the bell to ring, “Well hello there pretty lady, my name is Brett, and I am ready to give you the time of your life.” I looked up, and saw a very handsome boy, with blonde hair and brown eyes, but I had seen and met boys like him, and knew how much of a jerk they were. I rolled my eyes, “Please. I’d rather date a swamp toad than you.” He looked surprised, but then another boy came up to us and started to talk to him.

“Brett, I told you to leave her alone, I do not care if she is pretty, you will treat her like sh*t, like all of the other girls you have been with.” I stared at the boy in surprise, “Hello my name is Gaga. What is yours?” I stared at him, wow he was cuter than Brett, he had black hair and bright blue eyes. “Hi I’m Adrian.”

*Gage’s POV* Her voice was like a melody to my ears, her voice was like little bells, I stared at her, oh what I would have given to see her eyes.  She stood there staring at me, while I just looked her over. I felt a blush rise to my cheeks, and my eyes darted to her glasses, she had a smirk on her face saying ‘like what you see?’ I looked to where Maggie was standing smiling like an idiot. She walked over to Adrian, “Hi I’m Maggie. What’s yours?” Adrian told her, her name and Maggie laughed at that. ”Isn’t that a boys name?” I elbowed her in the stomach, and she apologized.

We all walked to first period; well actually it was just Adrian and me. I know score right! It was math, most boring subject on the face of the earth, but Adrian looked really into it, actually she seemed like it was too easy for her. “Gage did you hear what I said?!” I looked up to see Mrs. Kerney looking pissed uh oh! “Err no Mrs. Kerney, what was the thing you said?” She looked even more pissed, “I told you that Miss Volk is going to tutor you in this subject since she is soo good with it.” I looked around. Who was Miss Volk? Then my eyes landed on Adrian, and she was smirking. Oh yes, another score.
