Next day morning,

Ragini is coming down the stairs looking at her phone going through some documents. The moment she steps on the floor, her foot slips and is about to fall on her back, Laksh who is standing near the stairs holds her safe in a nick of time. She clutches his shirt in fear,

"Careful", Ap utters. Laksh makes her stand straight. She closes her eyes trying to calm her heart beat.

"Ragini, are you okay?", questions Ap looking at her worried. Ragini nods while her panting subsides.

"But what happened beta?", Ap questions again.

"Water", Ragini utters pointing her hand to the floor.

"Water?", everyone looks down following her gaze, water is everywhere on the floor. (Everyone have their slippers ON, Ragini forgot to wear her slippers so no one noticed apart from her)

"How can there be water on the floor?", asks Ap.

Ragini thinks of something, or maybe someone who is responsible for this, looks everywhere, when she identifies the cause, she immediately runs towards the person.

"Raksh!!!...", shouts Ragini running towards him while tucking pallu to her waist. Everyone looks in that direction.

Raksh is seen sitting in the tub filled with water right below the tap which is continuously flowing. The drain is off which is why water is flowing into the house from the laundry room. Ragini turns off the tap.

"Raksh, didn't I say not to play in the water?", taking him out off the tub, picking him in her arms, "but you never listen", wiping the droplets of water from his face using her hand, "See what you have done?", pointing her hand towards the house, which resembles almost a swimming pool. Raksh grins looking at the floor then at his mom.

Uttara brings towel from the room. "Thank you", Ragini utters before taking it wrapping the towel around his body after making him stand on the sofa, wiping his face then his body, "wait! Where did you leave your clothes?", she questions him.

"I...", thinking to remember, "near the door mamma", he finally says.

Ragini looks at the clothes from far, which are fully damped by the door, "unless I arrange for it, you will never play in the bath tub again. Got it?", she warns him. Raksh looks at her with pout.

"Ragini beta, I will go and clear the water", says Ramu kaka the servant of the house.

"Sorry kaka, Raksh increased your workload", she says feeling sorry. "Raksh say sorry to kaka".

"Sorry uncle", Raksh says.

"It's ok beta", Ramu kaka says.

"Ragini, you know what! Laksh had also turned the house into swimming pool in his childhood. Difference is that you found it early and saved the house", Sujatha exclaims, "hain na jiji?", turning towards Ap, asks laughing mischievously.

"Yeah, that's true", Ap nods her head in disbelief at Sujatha for being childish to bring it up now.

Hearing it Raksh bursts into laughter, "accha baccho badi hasee aarahi hain tumko (Raksh, you are laughing on me now)", says Laksh and starts tickling him then takes him in his arms. Everyone smiles looking at them happily.

"Uttara ko dekhne keliye ladke wale aarahe hain (The boy’s side are coming to see Uttara). Everyone go and get ready", everyone leaves after hearing it from DP.

After a while,

Every is in the hall waiting for the boy’s side.

“They are here” utters DP standing up. Everyone stands listening his words. After the warm welcome and greetings to the boy’s side everyone settle down in their places. Dp introduces the family members, boy’s father does the same.

(Rajat is the groom-to-be, just like in the serial. Here it's arranged which means Uttara didn't love Rajat, she met him now directly. He is here with his real parents and he is a good person. )

Ragini walks down the stairs, Raksh is walking down along with her holding his mom’s hands. As soon as Rajat notices Ragini, he gets up moves towards her. Laksh notices his moves, something burns in his stomach which makes him stride towards her, almost sprints, standing beside her, before Rajat could approach her, he snakes his hand around her waist holding protectively.

Before Rajat could utter a word,

Laksh introduces, “this is Ragini, my wife”, picking up Raksh in his arms, “and this is my son, Raksh”, finishes introducing just to clarify or to warn him to stay away from his wife. Ragini understands his jealousy, smiles nodding her head in disbelief.

“Sorry, do you mind if I call you sister?”, Ragini looks at him weirdly. “I just feel like you are my sister. We lost her in an accident and I miss my sister”, Rajat completes.

“Sure, you can”, Ragini nods at him understanding. Laksh lets his breath out in relief.

All are sitting in the hall; Uttara is sitting opposite to the groom. Everyone liked the groom, her Bhabhi’s are teasing her while eyeing towards the groom, she blushes. Both the families liked each other. Rajat and Uttara too. Everyone takes in their likings.

“I think the kids are ok with the rishta. Shall we set a date for their engagement”, groom’s father asks.

Dp looks at Uttara before making the final decision, Uttara nods at him smiling giving him a positive signal for the rishta. Dp smiles back caressing her head, her happiness is what he needed to proceed further.

“Yeah, sure. We will get back to you after fixing the date”, Rp says after getting the signal from his brother Dp to continue.

“Then we are samdhan ji’s (in-laws) now”, says groom father hugging Rp.

“Ji haan, samdhan ji”, says Rp reciprocating the hug.

“Then we will come back soon for the engagement”, says groom’s father. Every does namaste and bids bye.

When everyone left, Uttara is blushing and smiling ear to ear, her Bhabhi’s surround her and starts teasing and tickling her. She laughs and hugs her Bhabhi’s in happiness. Elders caress her head blessing her.

Uttara’s engagement day,

RagLak, SwaSan, PariAdarsh are in Uttara’s room,

“Pehle ladke wale dekhne aaye (first boy’s side came to see her)”, Sanskar says.

“Phir rishta pakka hogaya (both bride and grooms family liked and fixed the pair)”, Laksh says.

“Aaj sagayi horahi hain (it’s her engagement today)”, Adarsh says.

“Kal shadi bhi ho jayegi (she will tie the knot soon)”, Parinita says.

“Phir yahase chali bhi jayegi (then she will leave from here)”, Swara says.

“Mamma, bua sacch main chali jayegi? (mom, will bua really leave from here?)”, Raksh questions making a crying face.

“No beta, iska matlab bua iss ghar se jyada uss ghar main rahegi aur tum jab chaho tum bua se baat kar sakte ho aur mil bhi sakte ho, kabhi kabhi”, Ragini explains Raksh so that not to make him cry. She glares and signals Laksh, SwaSan & PariAdarsh not to bring that up. (No Raksh, it means your bua will stay more in that house than in this house. You can see her whenever you want and can meet her too but only some sometimes)

“Accha okay then”, Raksh smiles convinced by his mom’s words.

“Listen groom’s family will be on their way, is everyone ready?”, Ap asks while entering into the room.

“Ji maa”, everyone nods at her then Ap leaves from there.

“Babhi, you didn’t apply lipstick?”, asks Uttara while noticing Ragini’s lips.

“No Uttara, I just applied lip balm. You know lipstick tastes yuk”, says Ragini making faces.

"It tastes yuk only at first then later it dries. So babhi, try this lipstick, it will look good”, says Uttara handing one of her lipstick to Ragini.

"But”, Ragini tries to deny.

"Please babhi, see, me, Swara babhi and Pari babhi, we all have applied except you, so...", Uttara convinces her somehow.

"Accha ok", Ragini utters before applying when Uttara becomes adamant.

"Ladke wale aagaye (boy's side are here)", hearing someone say it from outside everyone moves out towards the hall. Ragini stops in her tracks, when she notices toys on the bed, "yeh Raksh bhi na (this Raksh, never listens)", she murmurs and starts removing the toys one by one. The moment she is done putting them in the cover Laksh pulls her hand, she lands on his chest.

"Laksh!? I thought you left. What are you still doing here? Shouldn't you be outside?", she questions him.

Ignoring her nonstop questions, his hands lay softly on her waist while he is busy assisting her behind the wardrobe.

"I am asking you?", she questions again when she doesn't get any response from him.

"For this", he says before pressing his lips on hers, she reciprocates the kiss.

"Laksh!", Ap calls his name entering the room. Hearing Ap's voice Ragini tries to break the kiss but Laksh holds her tight stopping her from doing so. (They hid behind the wardrobe so well, that, no one can notice them even a bit😁)

"Where is he?", Ap takes a look at the whole room, "I didn't saw him coming out. The where did he go?", Ap thinks to herself still unsure about his whereabouts marches out of the room.

Breaking the kiss, he looks at her unsmudged lipstick on her lips, "Uttara was right. Lipstick is really the best. No one will get suspicious", saying he winks at her. She hits his chest and hides herself in his arms blushing.

He marches towards the door after pecking her lips one last time. She follows him from behind. She is busy adjusting herself while looking down, that she forgets to notice Laksh who stood straight like a statue, stopped in his tracks.

Her head hits his strong back, "ouch", she mutters. "Laksh? Why did you stop?", she asks coming to stand beside him while rubbing her forehead. She looks at him but he is looking somewhere else, she follows his gaze, only to find Ap who is standing folding her arms and her suspicious gaze shifting from Laksh to Ragini.

"Where were you both when i came inside the room?", Ap questions.

"Maa, we....we were under the bed", Laksh answers not knowing what to say.

"Under the bed?", Ap investigates. [hitler sasuma (mother-in-law) Ragini thinks😅]

"Yes maa, Raksh's toys were all over the room. So we were clearing them. That's it", Ragini says covering up his lie, "Am I right Laksh?", she asks nudging him to say something.

"Haan maa, Ragini is right. We were just clearing out the toys", says Laksh smiling awkwardly.

Ap hums nodding still looking at them suspiciously, starts walking when she hears "it's time for muhurat". RagLak lets out their breaths, which they were holding while standing infront of Ap in the fear of getting caught 😌 Soon RagLak joins the engagement ceremony.

All are hooting and clapping, while bride and groom-to-be's are exchanging the rings. Everyone congratulates Uttara & Rajat. Family members hug each other celebrating the joy.

Screen focuses on the hall which is filled with the voices, wishing congratulatory messages.

Later RagLak and SwaSan dance on Aaj hain sagayi song like they did in the serial.
