Dash's POV
I heard a crash in my room so I opened my eyes and sat up to see who it was. It took a minute to adjust to the darkness but once my eyes adjusted I saw Danny.
"Hey Danny,what are you doing here?"
"One of my enemies almost did it with me and I'm afraid to be in my house because of it." He answered.
He was shaking a bit so I got up and I asked if I could pick him up, he responded with a yes. I picked him, bridal style, and went over to my bed. I sat down and started playing with his hair.
"Mhm, that feels good." Danny said sleepily.
I chuckled.
"Does someone playing with your hair make you sleep?" I asked.
He responded with a hum.
I laid back bringing him with me.
"Try and go to sleep Danny, I'll be right here." I said.
He looked up at me with these adorable sad little eyes.
"You promise you won't let him get me?"
I smiled and ruffled his hair, making him giggle.
"Cross my heart."
He snuggled into me and closed his eyes.
"Nigh Dash."
"Night Danny."

Next day
I opened my eyes and saw black hair. I heard Danny groan.
"Morning Danny."
"Morn..ing."
I chuckled.
"Still tired?"
He nodded.
"You need to go home and change, Danny."
He lifted his head and pouted.
"Don't Danny, we have school."
He groaned and laid his head back down.
"I know it won't be easy but I'll be right beside you," I said, "what if I come pick you up, would that be better?"
He nodded and got up. He went ghost and went out the window.
I got up, showered, brushed my teeth, put deodorant on, and changed into a white t-shirt and blue jeans with my sports jacket. I went downstairs to be greeted with my mom making breakfast.
"Good morning Dash, I made your favorite."
"Blueberry pancakes?"
"Yep."
"Have I told you that your the best mom ever?"
She giggled and told me to eat before I'm late. I kissed her on the cheek before heading out to Danny's.
I arrived at Danny's 15 minutes later. I saw him outside 'talking' with Sam and Tucker. I rolled down the window and said hey.
"Go away Dash, we're dealing with something." Goth-B***h said.
"Sam, stop he's my ride to school." Danny replied.
Sam looked over at him.
"You can't be serious!" She yelled.
Danny rolled his eyes and got in my car.
"Tucker I forgive you just not you same." Danny said with his head down.
I hated seeing him down and then I remembered I was gonna give him something yesterday. I reached into the backseat and got the gift for Danny.
"Danny, here, I got you something."
He looked at it and then at me.
"When did you-?"
"I got yesterday before 'that.'"
Sam and Tucker was just watching this go down.
Danny looked back at the box and started unwrapping it. He opened the box and a huge smile came on his face.
"Dash! Thank you so much." He exclaimed and hugged me.
I got him some manga of his favorite anime that Jazz told me he like.
"This means a lot to me Dash."
I blushed a little and started my truck up. Danny waved bye and we sped off to school.
"I was going to give you them at lunch, but you just looked so sad and I don't like seeing you sad so I-"
"Dash."
"Yeah."
"Thank you. I love you."
My heart skipped a beat.
"I-I love you too."
Danny giggles and turned on the music.
