Darkness. Why do I only see Darkness? I can hear everyone. I can hear the child beside me as he takes care of me. I can hear a womanizer squealing to two women camed Nami-swan and Robin-chwan or something along those lines. I can hear the sound of metal upon metal like a sword. I can hear the high pitched voice of a man that would periodically come in to ask the child, Chopper, to come and play with them followed by a laugh and the same question repeated in a somewhat lower pitch. I could hear the lower pitch come in once a day for about five minutes to hear about my condition. I could hear the ocean waves against the wood of whatever it is we were on. I suspected it was a ship on the ocean. I could hear the seagulls up in the air. But I could not open my eyes. I could not get myself to wake up. And then I did. And it wasn't the kind of wakeup where you just open your eyes and that's it. Instead it was more of a sudden jolt awake from a nightmare of immense terror and horror. And I think I startled the racoon dog that was grinding up something. Because he let out a shriek which alerted several other people. The first was a ginger female who was followed by someone with a long nose like pinnochio, a raven haired boy with a straw hat, and a blonde smoking a cigarette.

"Chopper, what's wrong?" The ginger female asked him.

Wait. WHAT?!?! This racoon dog was Chopper, the one I've been calling "child" inside my head for who knows how long.

"The girl woke up suddenly and she startled me. That's all." Okay, now I hear it. The raccoon dog turned to me. "You okay, miss?"

"Uh...yeah. I think so." I laughed nervously.

"Well, do you remember anything?" Chopper walked over to me with several doctors equipment, doing a checkup or whatever on me.

"All I remember is falling into the sea. No clue how I got there or anything." I told them.

"Do you remember what you said after we found you and brought you aboard?" asked the ginger.

"Nadakhan." I said without thinking.

"Who's that?" asked the Raven Haired Straw Hat Boy.

Wait a minute. Is that... It can't be... Straw Hat Luffy right? If that's the case then Lloyd and Cole owe me desert fot thr next month.

"A pirate me and my friends were pursing. He kidnapped one of my friend's sister because she looks like the splitting image of Nadakhan's dead wife." I explained.

"And your crew didn't bother helping you out or anything?" asked the ginger.

"Uh..." I rubbed the back of my neck in a sheepish manner. "That's a little hard to explain. It was a ways down, so I told them to go on without me. And we'll meet at the rendezvous point."

"Where is it? Maybe we could take you there on our way to the next island." The raven haired told me as he gave me a big grin. That is definitely Straw Hat Luffy. Kinda reminds me of both Lloyd and Kai.

"Uh, the island of -."

"Enough of that. I want to know why your vitals are so good when you've been without food and water for a month." Chopper told me.

"Miracle luck?" I shrugged, lying because the real answer would be too much to handle.

They seemed to buy it. Hopefully they did.

I sat around the table of the Thousand Sunny's kitchen with the rest of the Straw Hat Pirates. I had learned all of their names by now. And although, I preferred to be with guys since I have been since I was thirteen, I found comfort with Robin and the ginger, Nami, while the boys chowed down on the food the blonde womanizer, Sanji, made for us. Although I was with the girls, I still ate food like one of the guys. I had learned pretty quickly up on the bounty that in order to not be treated like a weak and incapable girl (because the boys were overprotective sexists (maybe just cole and kai)) was to act like one of the guys, so I acted like them. And as the first female ninja pirate (the two nerds of the bounty had that idea to become a band of ninja and a pirate), I became one of the guys.

"So, where are we dropping you off?" asked Nami.

"The Island of Darkness.*Slurp*." I replied as I slurped up the ramen that Sanji had made (because he had a headache and couldn't handle something more complicated thay instant noodles).

"THE WHAT?!?!" Usopp shrieked.

"Isn't that place crawling with stone warriors?" inquired Nami (who immediately regret saying that as evidence by Luffy leaning in to hear my answer (I think)).

"Stone warriors? They're no problem. They're controlled by a oversized... manchild. Yeah, that can be a problem. Actually." I laughed nervously.

"Let's go! Adventure!" Luffy cheered, fist bumping the air.

"One problem. I don't know how long it'll take us to get there." Nami explained, looking down at her log pose.

"Well, until then [Y/N] can be apart of the crew!" Luffy smiled at me.

Apart of a crew besides the ninja force? Besides the Destiny Bounty? They were home. They were friends. They were family. The only family I've felt I have always wanted but never got until I was brought to the monastery before the Bounty. I didn't want to seem rude and shoot down his statement. But, luckily, I didn't need to before Sanji smacked him on the head.

"The beautiful lady is already apart of another crew. It's rude to ask her to become a temporary member." Sanji scolded him.

"What's that supposed to mean? She's our friend, isn't she?" asked Luffy.

"You just met me!" I interjected.

"Precisely, I hate to be pessimistic here, but what if her crew members turn out to be the unfriendly sort of pirates that are leading us into a trap?" Robin queried.

The Straw Hat Pirates turned to me. "They aren't that smart. If we were luring you into a trap, I would have egged you on by trampling all over your pride to get you angry. That way you would have to chase after me in order to avenge your pride or whatever. And then we would have Ronin, our somewhat smuggler allie that we hate to ask for help,  climb aboard your ship and smuggle all your loot." They all blinked at me. "I only say that because that happened to us before. I'm only speaking of experience."

"Well, if you say we're not being swindled, then I believe you." Luffy told me. Wow. What a trusting person.

"If she stabs us in the back, I'm stabbing you in the back tenfold." Zoro threatened him.

"Don't worry! She won't lead us into a false sense of security." Luffy assured his swordsman.

Nami looked down at her log pose worriedly. "I can alter course to the Dark Island. And when we get to the Dark Island, the log pose will go in the direction of where it's currently pointing to."

"Huh? How?" asked Nami.

I took Nami's wrist in my hand and my hands glowed a faint purple-ish pink color. And the log pose altered it's course.
