Personality: Personality wise Mordecai is an introvert, he finds social gatherings to be overwhelming and unnerving. He doesn't like crowds and will always attempt to avoid them when possible.
He tends to overthink situations which can lead to a delay in his actions. He usually stutters at the start of a sentence and isn't fond of maintaining proper eye contact: During a conversation his eyes will either fixate upon the other person's mouth in order to replicate eye contact, or his gaze might flicker about.
He isn't utterly inept at socialising, but it does tire him and he needs a lot of alone time. He tends to stay awake at night in order to achieve this.
He is intelligent and prefers to think in a logical manner, even if his neurotic personality favours irrationality and panic. He tries to suppress his neuroticism and deal with matters realistically/sensibly.
Though usually quite polite and helpful, he does have a side which enjoys dry humour and sarcasm.
He believes ghosts might exist, though he's never seen one himself. However, his father claims to have seen ghostly monks in a ruined abbey, and Mordecai believes his father wouldn't make such stories up
