Chapter 10.
~pic above is one of my friends I think fits perfectly as Robin lol~
Sun-Hi's POV.
I rode my motorcycle all the way to Ace Chemicals.
I wanted to know more.
Element wasn't to keen on telling me the whole story but once we got there I could feel her anger.
I crept inside almost afraid that someone would see me even though no one was actually here but me and my ghosts.
I carefully wriggled my way in between the two doors that had fallen off they're top hinges.
I took a brief look around the entrance.
Scanning the area for any traces of the battle that happened a decade ago.
Go up the steps.
Came Element's voice from inside my locket.
I looked up ahead, and now that I knew what to look for I spotted a battered ladder like narrow staircase leading upwards towards a faint gleam I soon learned to be the moonlight pooling through the window basking the floor in it's light.
That's when I saw the first evidence of the battle.
A small smudge of blood and a Hydra symbol.
This must be where Element briefly fought Red Skull before teaming up with him.
I slowly knelt down and gently grazed the dried and faded blood on the ground till a surge of energy jolted through me.
Element was fighting Red Skull till insane laughter interrupted them.
"Miss me?" Whom I guessed to be Dark Saviour said, bowing down slightly with her arms outstretched.
I jolted back to reality, panting heavily.
"I..."
Those...
Those weren't my memories...
Element?
No answer.
I could only faintly sense her in my locket.
Were those her memories?
I picked up the Hydra symbol, bracing myself for another energy blast.
He's here.
But why is he in human form? He's a mutant with great abilities!
I watched as this lone figures thoughts melded with mine.
I followed his gaze.
A boy with red hair exiting the kids shop only to be stopped by a female he called Natalie.
I came back to reality once again and could here screaming coming from my locket as it took Red Skulls soul.
It burned a bit, but I was used to it by now.
I walked towards this faint greenish glow.
The vats...
I thought SHIELD took care of it's contents?
Yet there before me were the vats, filled with greenish glowing stuff.
I noticed that part of the railing was bent in a weird shape.
I slowly stepped closer and touched the cold smoothed metal as another storm of memories flooded my mind.
Element was fighting Dark Saviour all on her own but was slowly losing ground as Dark Saviour gained the upper hand.
"Where's Max!?"
"Oh mista J!?" Dark Saviour called out in a creepily sweet voice.
Now Element was at the very rim of the vat.
"...all it takes is one. Small. Push."
I watched in horror as the joker pushed her into the vat just as Gambit and Wolverine came in.
Gambit blasted joker away and rushed to save his daughter while Wolverine took on Dark Saviour.
As Element's hands slipped off Gambit's bo-staff, in came Quick Silver.
But it was to late.
Element had fallen in the vat, her last words being "I forgive you".
I gasped as I came back to reality.
I was shaking and my cheeks were tear stained.
Element...
I'm so sorry...
I never got to say goodbye...
I didn't need to ask to know she was referring to Spider Man, Captain America and all of her loved ones.
"Well, well. We have visitors!" Someone exclaimed from the darkness behind me.
I knew that voice...
