I realised that Castle (the show I JUST STARTED WATCHING) is the reason I write (and have written) all my songs.

And I... wow. This is crazy. It influenced my life so much without me even knowing it. Wow.

Basically, when I was little, my mum used to watch it, but she never let me see it as it was too scary. Except I wanted to and one time my grandma was babysitting me and she let me put a few minutes of Castle on before bed.

Bad idea. Up until now, I regretted those few minutes as it scarred me for life and now I have such a bad fear of gas masks that when I see one on a school PowerPoint or something I practically have a panic attack.

Except... now I don't regret it anymore, because without it I would only have written that first song and then never any more.

So yeah, thanks Castle.
